What's missing in the 2021 version is that the 1962 trailer had a narrator hyping the movie like they used to do for a heavyweight championship fight. That's what builds the anticipation for the battle between Kong and Godzilla.

I think he said “unconquerable” which would make a whole lot more sense, but it’s too funny hearing uncomfortable.

Amazing what a filter, some old timey music, and classicly cheesy trailer quotes can do!
Now imagine showing the people of 1962 this exact trailer and seeing their minds EXPLODE!!! Or having an entirely dubbed over version instead to show them; it’s amazing to see how well he captured the retro style, awesome editing and attention to detail!

They would have died from the realism and alienation of it
This is way better than the reverse version (1962 movie with 2021 trailer audio). And even that one was pretty good. But this is just spectacular.

This was great. In the new one, I wish they kept that Kong roar and kept the lightning/electric power but with a modern 2021 twist.
In Godzilla vs. Kong, Kong's roar is made from mixes of lions, leopards, monkeys, gorillas, bears, and even elephants. When Kong enters a temple to get his axe, he emits a sound that is similar to the roar that Kong had in the 1976 film. During his battle against Godzilla in Hong Kong, he also briefly made a roar similar to that of his Toho counterpart.
@@iandanielcassidy8126 I noticed the temple roar from 76 as well. Because this is a remake (I don't care what anyone says) they should have used Kong's roar from the original KKvs.G.
