Are you working from the desktop? Sometimes that can be an issue... especially if you have that desktop sync'd with any cloud software. I'd try a different folder that is a) not the desktop and b) not being used by any other apps! Best of luck!
Used Switch to convert some mp3 to wav. Half of the wavs was only about 5 kilobytes and no music when open with my music player. It is very disappointing. Then i use Prism it works better. So Prism is better to convert music files than Switch
It def doesn't! For something like that, if you are on a PC and depending on what platforms you are using, I'd recommend looking into AATranslator. It's pretty great and offers a ton of format conversion for multi-channel projects.

Bjorn, I haven't used Switch in a long time either. My current preferred batch converter is def DbPower Amp. I'll check out Prism!

Regardless of what I do, all converted files from original source files (with sound) have no sound.

Just tested this coming from an m4a to an mp3 and the covert art was still intact. What formats are you coming from and going to?
