Yes, the bucks are slower and a team that needs to set up it's defense/offense. But the young athletic run and gun teams are a problem. This is why I think the Knicks definitely would have been in the Eastern Conference finals if they faced the Bucks last season. Unfortunately, unlucky for us all they had to play a team that is the fastest and younger run and gun teams in the Pacers. It broke the Knicks team down. They could not keep up physically. I don't think they would have had the injuries they did against a slower Bucks team. Knicks would have been playing against the Celtics for sure last year if it was anyone other than the Pacers. The matchup was really bad for us. Good shooting masks legit problems.
KEY what Thibs said subtly--- which is a message to Brunson and something I have been saying -- many people have been saying for a long time. Brunson- when things aren't going right or when crunch time comes- he tends to fall into "hero ball" even if there are other options out there, even if Bridges is shooting well, or if it's crunch time- he knows he's one of the best clutch closers in the game. Let it go, and listen to the game. Thibs is quietly saying that right there. Take what the game gives you. Don't force it. Don't force your way through blitzing etc.... This is hopefully something Brunson can learn. Today, I don't think he really learned it because he took over the game, I think the new Brunson is going to have to be the one that will take over a game with scoring, but if he can't- he will take teams apart with his passing. He's capable of that. He's done it before... Sometimes he leans too much toward scoring even when the game dictates otherwise.
Cavs fan here, watched the game and even up 30 points, Thibs played dudes 37 mins on the first game of a back to back. Thank you Thibs for being the one to defeat the New York Knicks in the Playoffs, by running them into the ground in the reg season. Go Cavs!
The Cavs are playing well with coaching staff they have including Johnny Bryant who was a top assistant and great at player development.. lets go Knicks
You mean like the 12-2 December they just had? Not even at halfway point & this team already has a better record than last year's team (at this point). GO KNICKS
Knicks are good at beating these older teams, its the younger teams that gove them a problem

I said this last year too though it was a weaker argument then.

Great win by the New York Knicks!
HOPE WE CAN SEE SOME CONSISTENCY MOVING FORWARD

GO KNICKS
I AM HOPING THEY WILL ALWAYS BE CONSISTENT WITH ALL UPCOMING EVENTS OF GAMES
Hopefully we can still win today even though if Jalen Brunson doesn’t play. McBride and Payne in the PG position has got this.
I was just wondering about the Knicks and injuries.
💙🧡
Thibs has no clue of what load management means. He’s a detriment to any team.
glad thibs is so happy with himself...until next time...
