The UK asking price is £1199 for this Ultimate model, while the regular Aus ROG Phone 6D is £799. You can pre-order from today and they'll be released towards the end of October.

The phone is a real power house. I love the fact they are keeping the bezels on top and bottom to avoid unwanted touches.

@@Faraonqa punch hope is fine imo. As long as it in the top left. It literally dissappears while gaming because nothing happens at that edge of the screen. But yh, full screen, no holes or notch is the way to go

Finger sweating doesn't always come from heat. It can come from stress or anxiety when gaming especially in competitive games like most battle royale games. So the fact that Asus thought about this isnt something to over look but instead should be thanked
I sweat real easily even after just 10 min of playing so this is a big help

I would like to see performance tests vs ROG 6 Pro and with AeroActive Portal and AeroActive Cooler on and off.
Seems like a truly incredible gaming option - Asus truly came through in this phone - the flagship Mediatek processor is one of the best choices for an advanced performance.

I really like the unboxing of this ROG 6D Ultimate smartphone. Also, the features especially the Dimensity series chipset are quite impressive.
This phone is soooo sick! Mediatek has proven themselves yet another time.
I have been really interested in getting a gaming mobile phone for my fiance for Christmas. We travel a lot and he brings his PC every time 😂 while a lot of his games aren't on mobile I think he would be happy with what games he does play that are.

If you don't have it yet, don't buy it! I had it, I had like 50 problems with it and returned it within a week. This is NOT A GOOD PHONE.
Why not get him a Steam Deck instead? That way he'll be able to play his PC games.

Do you think the battery life could have been improved due to the colder weather we've had here in England now summer has passed? Since there's a 5-15⁰c difference depending what part you live in. Few months ago I'd get 3hrs playing CoDM with substantial heat whereas nowadays I get minimum 5hrs with little heat.
Nope, the dimensity 9000 is just more efficient than its snapdragon counterpart. You can watch a lot of videos online demonstrating it.
Can you make the back screen spell out anything you want? Wasn't the Asus 5 one customisable?

I've just got the 6D ultimate and for some reason I'm having problems making and receiving calls, just ends the call if you try making one. It's not all the time either, when it's connected to WiFi it works fine and also sometimes when I'm out. I've tried redownloading the firmwire but didn't seem to do anything.

I have the Asus Rog 5 16gb for a good 2 years nearly. Suddenly the Air trigger are not working. Had a similar problem just after i bought it with battery.

Strange how did you test everything when comparing the 6D ultimate to the 6 pro? your results are the complete opposite compared to GSMarenas testning. The 6D has quite a bit worse battery and thermals. Also it has worse GPU score.

You need to configure it in armory crate, go to the preferred game select game profile and then go to the option for touch sampling, where you have 3 slides to configure

@@inSaNe_44 8+Gen1 loses to the Dimensity by itself, the Adreno GPU carries it though. In a CPU benchmark by itself the Dimensity wins, in any GPU applications the 8+Gen1 wins.
Talking about aupdates and patches (to fix all the bugs affecting ASUS mobile phone software...), they really suck...

The smartphone needs to be regarded widely. The mediatek flagship chipset goes well with the 50MP camera and 6000mAh battery.
