Tip to grind coins: buy perm guard and max guard earn boost! just play guard all round, make sure to shoot and clean up. I got around 600-700 coins on a single match:D

The safest is guard mode on frontman but the best way to gain money is the player version of frontman
Dont grind frontman guard frontman cost 2.8 times more but you only get 2x

Nothing. You win money only when you kill and clean people .. and the player frontman can win over 1k
I have played as a guard and as a frontman (ONLY ME AS A GUARD)
And I won :
GUARD: 200~400
FRONTMAN: -200~200
It's easy to get 1000 coins so i dont think it's worth it
