Saying goodbye to the Lincoln Navigator sucked, but I knew I could (somewhat) be in it again with the new Ford Expedition! All-new for 2018 like the Navigator, the Expedition is based upon the current F-150 platform.
The Ford is very different to the Navi in respects to its exterior and interior design, but of course, the platforms are largely the same. The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is shared as is the 10-speed auto. With this car, the as-tested price is exactly $84,489, roughly $20,000 less than the Lincoln. So let's find out how the Ford stacks up!

I’ve owned a couple Expeditions and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. They were both “limited” trim levels and they cost about half what this vehicle costs. I’m a new subscriber and look forward to more videos.
Revel is also manufactured by Haman that also manufactures JBl and speakers in dam near every sports arena.
I have a 2016 Tahoe LTZ in for fender bender repair. I requested a big SUV from the body shop/rental company as the expenses were paid by the other driver. I got a new expedition limited. The drive and power and overall experience in the ford is superior to my Tahoe, no question. I got the L version in black with 20 inch wheels, frankly it was ugly, nowhere near possessing the exterior presence of my regular length Tahoe with 22's. Not even in the ball park. It had the B&o badge on the center speaker grille. I thought no way can't be what I think it is. Guess it is the B&o I was thinking of.
I really love your videos
Revel is also a high end audio brand, and its regarded as some of the best in the industry.
Just got a 19 Navigator L with Revel - and I've never, ever heard anything that amazing. You've reviewed both but didn't test the sound to report?
For the sound system, this one is actually called B&O play, a lower tier sub brand, not full long Bang&Olufsen like those in Audis or Porches.
Happy to see ONTARIO car plate ;-)
Revel owns Bang and Olufsen, I’m pretty sure, I could be wrong tho
Looks like a pretty nice choice for a full size SUV if you’re not interested in Luxury and enjoy driving a vehicle that’s larger than some tiny houses lol. Anyway, another great review. I would like to see a review on the Explorer at some point.
Hope to receive an explorer later in the summer!
Revel is by Harman
Is the expedition hwy interior noise level as low as it is in the navigator?
I’d argue the Lincoln was better but I can’t prove that with data at this time
Revel and Lincoln partnered with each other in 2015. Anyways great video! Did challenger or Charger review?
Haven't made reviews of those cars, sadly. Hopefully I'll be in one of them this year!

Ford and Lincoln are equal divisions. Ford is for sports and Lincoln is for luxury
Ford need to work on the interior as well, the dash infotainment surrounding looks dated.
B&O should be in lincoln...
Platinum is Ford's highest quality on all vehicles
darin586 on the f-150 the limited is the top trim level
The interior looks nice, but the cheaper trims such as the XLT have a lot of ugly gray plastics.
Check engine light was on
The engine wasn't started he was in auxiliary mode.
People don't buy that new one . Fort of all it's 100 thousands appreciation so bad .
How much??? Inflation is real guys....

If you are
Lincoln is better nice
Unlike the Navigator, the interior designers remembered to incorporate the infotainment screen into the dashboard. The Lincoln crew spaced it, and not knowing what to do about their afterthought, ended up just screwing or gluing it to the dash over the HVAC vents. Looks like sh!t - like a tacky aftermarket accessory.
horselips have you seen many new cars lately?
But it's still a Ford soo...
