Many colognes are just “cologne scented” to me. But I like spicebomb extreme, by the fireplace, jazz club.... and this one. Wow. It’s like earthy/floral/spicy/sweet all in one. This is a very fancy feeling fragrance.
Such an outstanding scent. Reminds me of a blend between Armani Diamonds & Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet. Patchouli heavy. Complex. Refined. Not exactly the most masculine scent, could easily be worn by ladies. Great review!

Tuxedo is in my top five. I never wear it if I'm not with my girlfriend to much unwanted attention women absolutely love this. To my untrained nose this smells like a fine quality flavored tea. I enjoyed the review glad you discovered this masterpiece.

Absolutely💯 love Tuxedo. Have 75ml, 125ml and just bought the new 250ml. Cannot get enough of it. Heard they are discontinuing it. Also, it's more for males in my opinion even though sold as unisex

If you’re on a budget, get Rochas Moustache EDP, not the EDT. Moustache has a 95% similarity and performance to YSL Tuxedo. I use Tuxedo for special occasions and Moustache for everyday use.

Hii Demi Fellow Aussie here. Been watching your channel for a while and only now decided to say HI. I've bought the Tuxedo purely based on your recommendation and just wanted to thank you for it. This is the third fragrance I have bought as a result of watching your channel. Other two are Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Tom Ford Black Orchid. They have all turned out to be so so good for me.
Based on this video, I got a decant of Tuxedo and wore it to brunch with a lady that I'm very fond of. She said it smelled good, but wasn't excited about it. In fact, she said I could find better for less. We went to Ulta Beauty and she found one that she liked twice as much and cost half as much... It was Bleu de Chanel EDP. A month later I saw her again. I bought a decant of Herod to try out. I think Herod smells like a better, deeper, more developed version of Tuxedo. She said I smelled good, but maybe a little too sweet. I love both, but I'll be prioritizing picking up a bottle of Herod first. Tuxedo seems difficult to find right now anyway, but if it comes back around, I'll probably pick it up. Meanwhile, I keep hearing that Bleu de Chanel is "played out" but I love smelling it and I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from people when I wear it.
Consider your woman but wear what you want. You'll be presented for not sticking to your guns. If you love them scent wear it. If she loves it too, great!
Just letting you know Blue de Chanel EDP is totally different notes than Tuxedo. Based on your review, you wore Tuxodo in morning time for Brunch which is big No No. Tuxedo is a night fragnence and mostly for winter. As it is called Tuxedo, it best suits for night dinner in your suit. It has that masculinity

It was a nice, inoffensive, somewhat low-key fragrance, but I felt it was a bit synthetic-smelling and not standout at all. For a scent that's so highly rated, I would rather spend my money on so many other fragrances and not smell like everyone else.
Never smelled Tux, but I have purchased a clone of it by Alexandria fragrances called Black Tie Affair. Smells great and a serious compliment getter. Women love this juice.

I’ve not smelt YSL Tuxedo but so many folk (most!) say that Rochas Moustache EDP (not EDT) is pretty close and if so It is a very affordable alternative. I own the Rochas and really enjoy it although I don’t find performance to be that great (possibly anosmia) but at the price re-sprays are a non-issue.

That's only for you my dear. Thank God we all have different noses or else all men (and woman) would walk with the same cologne and that would be boring and therefore not noticeable anymore. Ladies and gents buy the cologne that YOU like and even layer 2 if needed and make it YOUR personality. Be unique as possible. I like Fahrenheit you don't , you like Eau Savage I can't stand it!. And Tuxedo is just ok and doesn't come anywhere close to Habit Rouge from Guerlain which is an absolute masterpiece (for My nose). Hooray we are different and that is great. We are not clones. Demi, love your fragrance videos. For someone with your experienced "nose" to label, a single men's fragrance as Number 1 and "the best" is very surprising. As mentioned in some of the comments below there is another men's fragrance that comes very close to YSL's Tuxedo (Rochas Moustache EDP). I would also respectfully suggest you can't really leave out of the comparison of YSL's Tuxedo without comparing it to Channel's Sycamore.
For me a few drops of Polo original always works. Women never fail to give me compliments on it. Just a small amount. Seems to go well with my composition. I will give Tuxedo a try though.

Very interesting scent. I actually got the sample to try it out. It is really good, this is an amazing fragrance. However is dosen't scream masculinity to me personally, it is on the sweeter side and Slightly feminine and masculine at the same time. Definitely reminds me of la nult de l'homme but different. This is definitely one of the sexiest scents I have ever smelt so far. Definitely a date scent though, but good recommendation, also props to YSL they make some of the best fragrances.

I'm convinced that if there are no pheromones in these colognes, that most people are drawn to certain blends because it subconsciously reminds them of good memories possibly during childhood. So I bought this and I really like it. I have a question though. I have a ton of fragrances and I use the same technique with with all of them. 2 sprays on my left wrist, 2 sprays on my right wrist, 2 sprays on my left neck and 2 sprays on my right neck. One day I did this technique with Tuxedo and then about an hour later got into the car with my brother and sister in law and she just freaked out. She was like “Oh my God! What is that smell?” and then she rolled down the window. So, what’s the deal? To my knowledge, nobody has ever complained to me that I wear too much cologne, but do you think that what I’m doing is too much? I’ve been doing that for years. Or does my sister in law simply not like Tuxedo?
You probably just sprayed to much bro. It's a quality fragrance so even though it's not a projection beast 6 sprays when you're in the car with someone is OD lol she probably caught too much of it
Ordered a decant from scent slip. It does smell good. Smells classy, luxurious, sophisticated, etc. No, not a gym scent.... for some reason, it gives me an elegent honey smell, though.

I'd have to disagree with your comment being that this fragrance is extremely masculine. In fact, I think it is very unisex and very much androgynous. There's a salty quality most likely from the abergris that's hard to describe. I don't get much of the leather aspect. When I think of leather, I usually think of TF Tuscan Leather which has a prominent leather smell or John Varvatos Dark Rebel

YSL is my favorite designer fragrance line. I havent smelled anything that I dislike that they put out!

They do smell quite similar. I got Rochas after owning Tuxedo out of curiosity since its only ~$50 usd.
tuxedo is more refined or rounded then moustache.. tuxedo smells more elegant and they do smell similar, but tuxedo is better unfortunately

It contains spice, amber, patchouli, juicy, and dark You wish you could drink it versatile perfume
Sillage and projection is low. After 1 hour you can't smell it
I agree. My wife can barely smell it even immediately after spraying.

That's only for you my dear. Thank God we all have different noses or else all men (and woman) would walk with the same cologne and that would be boring and therefore not noticeable anymore. Ladies and gents buy the cologne that YOU like and even layer 2 if needed and make it YOUR personality. Be unique as possible.
I like Fahrenheit you don't , you like Eau Savage I can't stand it!. And Tuxedo is just ok and doesn't come anywhere close to Habit Rouge from Guerlain which is an absolute masterpiece (for My nose). Hooray we are different and that is great. We are not clones. Diversity...
Demi, love your fragrance videos. For someone with your experienced "nose" to label, a single men's fragrance as Number 1 and "the best" is very surprising. As mentioned in some of the comments below there is another men's fragrance that comes very close to YSL's Tuxedo (Rochas Moustache EDP). I would also respectfully suggest you can't really leave out of the comparison of YSL's Tuxedo without comparing it to Channel's Sycamore.
For me a few drops of Polo original always works. Women never fail to give me compliments on it. Just a small amount. Seems to go well with my composition. I will give Tuxedo a try though.

It is my opinion that YSL took the DNA of Mugler's Pure Malt, added/subtracted notes, refined the help out of it and Tuxedo was born. Just my opinion.

Very interesting scent. I actually got the sample to try it out. It is really good, this is an amazing fragrance. However is dosen't scream masculinity to me personally, it is on the sweeter side and Slightly feminine and masculine at the same time. Definitely reminds me of la nult de l'homme but different.
This is definitely one of the sexiest scents I have ever smelt so far. Definitely a date scent though, but good recommendation, also props to YSL they make some of the best fragrances.

I've never smelled this fragrance but I've been hearing of it for a while now. And I've had no luck finding a bottle. I've also heard that it's been discontinued. I'm not sure it'll that's true but I'm hoping it's not. Definitely want to get my hands on one.

I'm convinced that if there are no pheromones in these colognes, that most people are drawn to certain blends because it subconsciously reminds them of good memories possibly during childhood. I have smelled a ton of colognes and I'm partial to JHL from Estee Lauder. I will give this one a try. thank you

Haven’t tried this. The best fragrance I’ve put my nose on is FDB oud bleu intense. Just wish it was slightly louder. I’ll try this one soon!

So I bought this and I really like it. I have a question though. I have a ton of fragrances and I use the same technique with with all of them. 2 sprays on my left wrist, 2 sprays on my right wrist, 2 sprays on my left neck and 2 sprays on my right neck. One day I did this technique with Tuxedo and then about an hour later got into the car with my brother and sister in law and she just freaked out. She was like “Oh my God! What is that smell?” and then she rolled down the window. So, what’s the deal? To my knowledge, nobody has ever complained to me that I wear too much cologne, but do you think that what I’m doing is too much? I’ve been doing that for years. Or does my sister in law simply not like Tuxedo?
You probably just sprayed to much bro. It's a quality fragrance so even though it's not a projection beast 6 sprays when you're in the car with someone is OD lol she probably caught too much of it

Ordered a decant from scent slip. It does smell good. Smells classy, luxurious, sophisticated, etc. No, not a gym scent.... for some reason, it gives me an elegent honey smell, though.

I'd have to disagree with your comment being that this fragrance is extremely masculine. In fact, I think it is very unisex and very much androgynous. There's a salty quality most likely from the abergris that's hard to describe. I don't get much of the leather aspect. When I think of leather, I usually think of TF Tuscan Leather which has a prominent leather smell or John Varvatos Dark Rebel
