Thanks, Paul. You quoted a marathon and epic explore and I add comprehensive. The history of the decades of the buildings shows a range of designs thru' those times.
Glad to see these old Beauties. People don't understand these are signs of what it took to make our countries great. The people that worked to pathe the way for us. They should never be wiped out. If so we forget what they had to go through for us today.
I was surprised there weren't squatters living in those office rooms in the factory. It seemed very solidly built. A good place to get out of the bad weather.
Hi paul, another great find with the area of 5 beauties. Loved the first home of the 5. I just don't understand how they just pull them down. Keep up your good work. Cheers deb
The units are built to a very high standard. Reminds me of a rental I moved into in the sixties when just married. The complex back then was built by a Greek builder securing extra income for his family and funding his retirement later on. Again a great explore bringing back memories of days of past times.
Love the old lemon trees and the white swert pea flowers would be heirloom and smell amazing. Epic viewing . Its so sad these homes have to go...why duznt someone at least save the old doors and wood .Priceless. ❤❤
Thank you for the natural light shots of the window transom at the last home. It is so warming to see that touch of elegance in the simplest of homes. Like a last, dying , flutter of the heart.
Urbex Indigo thanks my friend that was some explore this video was very interesting what are they going to build on this land in place of theses buildings because it is a very big piece of landthe places looked kind of old and runed down thanks for taking your time to film this and shared it with me i really appreciate it my friend i am from the U.S.A and i always will show my support to your channel i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out. and i can't wait to see your next video and God Bless and thanks again.
Yes, I'll bet before the fire that was a nice little home. Also i luv during your filming the bird song is so refreshing to hear. Some are parrots, I'm guessing. They can get quite noisy. Cheers Paul 💜☮️
Someone must have been proud of the beautiful home they made. Just a few little touches to make it stand out from the rest. Man you was legging it on this one. Good video
Absolutely epic explore, thanks Paul. Interesting to see the variety of buildings and uses on the site. I did have to chuckle at the thing that really gives away the fact that this is South Australia, even more than the style of stone cottage. The giveaway was the quick glimpse of a Stobie pole! Cheers mate.
I loved the longer exploring with this one, glad that you were able to do it. First off, were you able to take a few lemons with you? If so, you should plant them once you get them started growing. You can give them to others to plant in their yard. With all the fake food these days and everything being Bio engineer, not many people these days have fruit trees like they used to. Just a thought passing love around. I always love seeing older places, how much things have changed over the years, people work harder and didn't complain every minute of their day. Paul, thanks for this week's video. Take care 🙂
explore and a half thanks Paul for a great video I could not get over how huge that factory was loved the houses shame that one of them was on fire but a great explore looking forward to see you in the next video
Its funny what we notice. LOL In the 3rd place with the light coloured brick, the wallpaper in the hall is the the same as i had in my bedroom as a teenager here in Auckland and I'm now 61. In the kitchen you saw the shelf in red Formica shelf. Back in the early 60s mum and dad had a new house and couldn't afford a store bought kitchen table and chairs So dad being handy made one in the green version of that Formica and bought a set of chairs. I still have it in the garage and didn't have the heart to throw it out.
Absolutely love love loved it all those beautiful old gems a lot of those homes could have been restored back to their former glory. The factory had an interesting feel about it to. Thank you so much again very epic ❤️😊🌟x :-)
Hey Paul what a cool place filmed this place last week what a coincidence 😊. Hey mate your white shoes would be black shoes now going into the burnt house and the factory. Had my Walmart sneakers on and they were dirty from that factory. Those units were cool and all those bike parts looked like squatters staying in there at some time. And the last home was my favourite but not original, it would of looked good if it had its original fixtures cool explore mate cheers see you on the next one😊😊
Hey Werner, yeah I guess a few people like ya self may have been there after I filmed it, pretty easy place to find or look up 😉 that's some pretty specific details about ya shoes mate 😉 cheers for watching 🙂👍
G'day, with so many people looking for home and prices so high in most regions that so many properties fall through the cracks, I'm aware the remote location don't have the demand or profitability like Towns and Cities but in high density locations this should never happen, thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
Such a shame to bad they won't incorporate those houses into it. I suppose that's 20 less townhouses though. Gotta look after the poor hard done by developers and pollies
So much history and variations in building architecture sadly being demolished, from the old villas that once housed families, the mid century factory, to the units.
Bonjour d'Occitanie Merci pour la promenade, les maisons sont intéressantes. Pour la manufacture il manque les bureaux, avec une telle structure il y a plus que la pièce que vous avez visité au début
I liked the stain glass. The house with different units. Could be a group home, at least that is what we call them in the United States. It's a home for adults with special needs, that can't live by themselves. But need to learn how to do daily stuff. Like a job. Plus what is your favorite place to explore?🤔
They don’t build like these old beauties anymore. Was that you playing the piano at the start? I keep waiting for you to video a place like the one I grew up in. Built 1880’s.
What the hell is govenment doing do they really think that big is better I don't think so why don they do this to our old homes they are part of history so why change the past is it worth demolishing these home they are all precious and I think worth keepingh
I gather that the factory was cutting metal components from sheets of steel, then cleaning and painting them. There were plenty on air cleaning/dust extraction to account for a very dirty job.
The first house was homely. I could have lived in that but not sure about having a factory next door. The second house was neat petite. The third house had a pair of curtains put up by a factory worker to hide the contents. The linings were on the inside of the room and no homeowner would have made that mistake! The fourth house, although very large, was too modern for me. The land that the factory alone is occupying must have been worth a pretty penny. The units may have been for the elderly. The last home would have been lovely back in the day. Loved the art deco doors. What will replace homes for a few families will house at least a hundred people I imagine. Nice to see these old suburban houses but noticed that they are easy targets for graffiti and vandalism, unlike the natural decay of the rural farms.
I guess it's best that I don't live down under with you nice people, because I just couldn't resist collecting the stained glass window and doos nor wood cook stove that are abandoned. I would just have I would have to ado b. Them Care for them at my house . Even it it a house that needs me to adopt me.. I 'd love make it my place and mivein and bring it back to lll livei by
Wouldn’t happen in Paris. Those houses would be 100% safe and no doubt the factory repurposed into something amazing residential within its industrial bones. Can’t speak for outside the periphery though. Sadly greed and very grubby politics drives our planning processes here in Australia.
The owners and they must belong to someone don't look after them in the first place who i mean really would want to buy them like that you would think that they could put a caretaker in for small rent to look after them especially in the suburbs
I'm glad that you had a chance to explore these houses and factory before they are demolished to see them as they look now, great to see this and i hope that it will all look better after they are gone and some other buildings are put up in there place.🤠👋🏚🏚
Know these buildings well, used to work just up the street and walked past them regularly. Thanks for showing them before they're lost to history.
Loved the leadlight, art deco doors, the old plumbing, but sad! Thank you Paul😊
Glad you enjoyed it ozbubbles1 :-) Cheers
Love the old ones beautiful door and lived the stained glass ,🐈
What classic old homes, always sad to see then go.
Thanks, Paul. You quoted a marathon and epic explore and I add comprehensive. The history of the decades of the buildings shows a range of designs thru' those times.
Glad you enjoyed it Ken! :-) Thanks for ya support mate :-)
Love the lead light in the Hallway hope the demolishing team save them . Thanks so much Paul ,loved this epic tour Di 👊
Nice small apartments! Cute little Kitchen, nice hardwood floors 😁
Glad to see these old Beauties. People don't understand these are signs of what it took to make our countries great. The people that worked to pathe the way for us. They should never be wiped out. If so we forget what they had to go through for us today.
ABSOLUTELY I TOTALLY AGREE 😢😢😢
Awesome hahaha the 🍋 lemon s are still there cheers 🍻 urbex always 👏 ❤️ a great video stay safe stay cool 😎
I was surprised there weren't squatters living in those office rooms in the factory. It seemed very solidly built. A good place to get out of the bad weather.
A nice collection of old homes just left to rot, now gone. Out with the old in with the S%*t. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, MM :)
Glad you enjoyed it MM :-)

Epic viewing .

Not sure but I think the sheds with the small doors and the drain underneath might be chicken sheds
Cool explore
once again i just love that theme song
The song is 1926 big band song.
ok@@TheLightbright01
Thank you for the natural light shots of the window transom at the last home. It is so warming to see that touch of elegance in the simplest of homes. Like a last, dying , flutter of the heart.

I'm 66 and my story is much the same as yours! Good old Formica lol. What we couldn't buy, dad built. 🥰
I think those apartments look comfortable if small, I can see myself in one were I alone and busy working of going to school.
my favourite home was the first one 😊

Home #3 that we looked at, did you see the grains on some of those doors. Beautiful

It's sad to see the neglect

Oui chouette explo
I really enjoyed this video, I’m wondering if that factory was always there🤔 seems odd to me. You walk out your house and that’s your view.

Hi Mava :-) Hmmm if I had to choose a fav explore it would be a really hard to get to secluded farm house but I love any old home! haha :-)
Thanks
What an epic explore! Wonder what that factory produced? 🤔
Love it, love your vids. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I believe it was part of clipsal that manufactured electrical fittings in bowden
@@moparmissile oh wow, thanks for that. surprised anything still left there. 😄

No,in Paris there would be a couple million African refugees living there and destroying France
Did you repost this? It looks familiar
Anyone know what the factory used to produce?
Metal and allow components :-)
@@urbexindigo51645164 Got it. Now can understand what all the conveyor's & hoppers were for, all the sand-casting material.
Replace with ugliness and 12 foot square back yards. Yuck! The most important part is the loo.
so sad
