- Huge shoutout to Yonaka Motorsports for sending out this exhaust for me to review. In this video i compare eBay vs Yonaka Motosports Exhaust catback system on a 1992 Honda Civic Si Hatchback w/ B18C1 GSR Motor swap.

One thing i will say bout yonaka, they dont hold out on the merc, they sending everything😂 i still got stickers and stuff from them back in 2017
Ebay is not a manufacturer chinesiem exhaust can be located all over web, but i agree for price yonaka good sounding.

@@firellio070 burning coolant means there's coolant getting in the combustion chamber, hydrolocking is having more liquid than the volume of air the entire chamber is made to compress, remember an engine is a air pump, its made to compress air not liquid, liquid isn't compressible figure out the rest...
@@majorkin19 so when i put the pedal down and it bogs is that hydrolock? my shit was overheating and there was coolant under my hood :( and the gauges stopped working D:
@@firellio070 if your motor still turns over and runs it's not hydrolocked, key word "locked" the motor will be seized, sue to one of the connecting rods failed/bent

sounds amazing! doesn't sound like it has much drone as well, is there any while highway cruising? im trying to build the best daily eg hatch i can and I want a good exhaust note but i want it to be as comfortable as possible on the inside.

I had this on a four-door EK. It sounded very nice at highway speed my EM1 had a apexi world sport which is probably close to double the price the sound is better with the more expensive one but not enough to make it double so you can't go wrong with yonaka

Mine didnt come with a shirt, sticker or any of that. But I love the exhaust now, oh it did come with the license plate frame though.

Hey quick question pertaining to your last video. I want to know what all was done to make an ep3 transmission fit in your 05 Rsx Type S as I have one as well. I heard I'll have to put the internals of the ep3 trans into the 6speed casing or else my speedometer wouldn't work due to the vss
A ep3 tranny is the same as a base model rsx tranny, so its all bolts up the same with stock internals. And probably need the base model speed sensor but im not 100% sure tbh i got that car already built

I've had plenty of different brands of exhaust with all my hondas for the passed 10+ years. And in my opinion. Yonaka has the best sounding exhaust hands down.

Coda5610 cool I got same engine in my Eg. Sounds great my Eg got PLM header with custom straight pipe to Ktuned turn down muffler is deep tone. I got do a review to compare sounds.
@HibridArt TV B18C1 will last longer high revs because piston oil squirters helping lubricate and cooling. That's why from Factory has oil cooler sandwich plate keep oil temperature stable.

All exhaust are the same length, you will just need the PLM 4pc adjustable test pipe between the exhaust and the header

1320 motorsports makes a test pipe as well. I bought one for my b18c5 swapped eg and it worked great.
Plm adjustable test pipe if u go with the yonaka make sure it’s a 2.5 ‘ outlet

I would rebuild that block you smoking pretty bad I say rings or seals and if it's not tuned all that high revving and redline hope you dont blow a rod thru that block

Probably rings on cylinder #3. These engines are notorious for that. My b18c5 has the same problem. Though it barely smokes compared to that. He should run some marvel mystery oil thru it. His oil rings might be gunked up. Shit helped me big time.

Does your ecu have 2 step? Also turbos make it harder to see flames out of full length exhaust. Unless you have a monster engine.

Ian Stoufflet I do have 2-step. Using crome. Flames come out when I’m cruising, there’s actually a video on my channel of it! Haha, but the two step works, builds boost and all... still can’t do it though!
