@@blaze8308 that's what i keep saying everywhere, the biggest thing that itto is missing compared to the best dps is a source of dmg%, husk+gorou+geo resonance+yelan is around 70%, arlecchino and neuvillette have easy access to 200%, thankfully kachina is replacing chiori with the 40%
Not me guessing and agreeing with every part of this list. The only thing I wasn’t expecting was for bloom to be in honorable mention instead of Xingqiu. I splurged some of my Kinich savings to get Emilie and her weapon when I saw how good it was. People said I was insane when I said my reasoning that no other weapon could make her damage that competitive while ALSO completely nullifying her er requirements. Her optimal gameplay loop is to just burst off cd without using her skill, and now I’m able to do that with 0 bonus ER as a solo dendro. Banger list
I may pull her weapon on rerun, so I will have to deal with only 1 fate point, but even that will only happen if there aren't any other characters I want to prioritise before her weapon. Even with the BP spear she's pretty good, though I do have to worry about her ER requirements at least a little. In my experience, it hasn't been as bad as people make it out to be
I pulled for Emilie cause i think burning is hilarious. But during gameplay she behaves a lot like a pyro unit, with the upside of not dealing pyro damage; meaning pyro resistant enemies can still get damage with Emilie dendro damage.
Tbh i dont regret getting Emilie. Ive been waiting for so long to have a comfortable burn team, and now i can thanks to Emilie and Alhaitham (and eventually Kinich)
Yeah I cleared my first 36 stars Abyss tnx to her, she was even level 70 but it was enough help for the aoe side of my team. Got me surprised cause I was used to 34-35 stars like a regular routine untill halfway point I was like wait, we can do this! 😂

Chiori is still tied to the construct restriction at C0 unless Xilonen can summon one. On the other hand, C1 Chiori and Xilonen will probably form the strongest Geo core in the game.
@@simonditomasso9868 spoilers... So far there has been no mention of her summoning a construct unless her Q counts as one. We will know soon anyway as the Beta is about to drop.
I can understand the points of Xiangling being #2 but IMO there are big caveats: she has massive energy requeriment, she kinda needs Bennett to do "decent-great" damage, she needs C4, otherwise it's a 50% burst downtime, and she has 20s burst CD, which doesn't fit very well is a lot of team rotations.
Xiangling has great numbers and no replacement (unfortunately). That's why she's still that valuable. Yeah, she needs C4 but only Kuki Shinobu, Bennett, Charlotte and Chevreuse are the 4* that are perfectly fine to use at C0/C1 at most already.
Yet she has comparable if not better damage than emily in every senario, why would you pull a limited 5 star when a liyue 4 star from 1.0 can easily outclass her while being more versatile.

I agree with the list. but maybe it's a preference thing for me, but I love fischl more than xiangling. the difference is that, you have to battery xiangling. while fischl on the other hand will battery you. she's more comfortable to play for me because I don't have to worry with her skill up time. just the timing.
I will say that counting hyperbloom triggers as DPS is valid and correct. It's using their stats to determine the damage, so it's coming from them. That's like saying Xiangling isn't a DPS because she vapes most of her damage and requires someone else to set up the vape for her.
@@phobics9498That's called the on-field driver, if the main dps is off-field, then the on-field character is the driver, f.e Nahida in Hyperbloom, the main dps would be Raiden/Kuki but Nahida is the on-field driver

@@twigz3214 Alhaitham isn't aggravate and Keqing will lack a sustain option then and Nahida outside of quicken isn't dealing an insane amount of damage. Point being she isn't good enough as a sub DPS to warrant being on the top 5 subdpds list

@@Brddvd It's how I got Yelan back in 2022. I explored the hell out of Liyue and was finally ready to get Xiao (guaranteed and already at 70+ pity or something) but I clicked on the wrong banner without even looking, did a 10 pull and ofc won the 50/50. My PJWS has been at level 0 ever since. Great mistake in hindsight, but it pissed me off for a while, lol.
I know this is playing future impact but, Emelie will definitely be at the top of the meta in Natlan. Not only does she already synergize well with the two units that we're about to get, but when Mavuika comes out, I guarantee you, burning will become an issue! The reasons it isn't problematic now is that we don't have good units for one, but also, Xiangling is our only consistent AOE pyro unit. Once we get Pyro-Furina, teams with Kazuha and Nahida will create insane AOE pyro application. On top of that I expect us to get more unshielded Pyro enemies and Emelie THROTTLES anything Pyro.
Why are you assuming Mavuika will be pyro furina? Literally every archon had a unique kit that didn't overlap with any of the other archons. Could Emilie get a boost? Sure, but she definitely won't be meta defining, she's just another sub dps. She's no 1 on this list cause it's purely about damage but even now, in actual practicality, all the sub dpses mentioned below her are actually above her.
@@ashenzenden It was hyperbole. The point is, we currently don't have a character who has long, off-field pyro application that isn't attached to a burst. When Mavuika gives us ease of access to pyro centric teams, without giving up two slots (Bennet-Xiangling) that fourth slot opens the damage ceiling for pyro teams. If I had to wager a guess, I imagine Mavuika will have some mechanic that gives the whole team access to Night-Soul Bursts, or Phlogiston for 30s. Either way, she will most likely provide off-field pyro and some additional team wide-buff. Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida, and Furina all follow this paradigm. Also the fact that all of the other DPS are below Emelie on this list, even if they're normaly above her added to the fact that she just came out a month ago... speaks VOLUMES. She's already powerful and she doesn't even have the Archon yet. Just watch and see, I believe Emelie and Mavuika will make an incredible pyro core (not even adding Bennet)
@rendition55 That's still making a lot of assumptions, but I see where you're coming from. If the conditions that you are predicting do come true, Emilie will undeniably get a boost in the meta from her already decent current placement. Adding onto your points, the past x.8 units all got boosted by the release of their subsequent archons so it, almost certainly, will happen to Emilie too.
@@ashenzenden Yeah, other than the specifics of what kind of utility she'll provide, I think the long, off-field application and team-wide effect, are safe assumptions. I just like speculating, though. Maybe she'll provide an ATK buff and forever dethrone the terrible two, or a buff to all the night-soul mechanics! Maybe she'll provide a pyro reaction buff!? Burning could use it. I get excited just thinking about it all.
If I were to categorize Yelan after C1, she's more like a quickswap than a full on off-field dps. Because of how you can get 2 extra burst activation when her E deals damage which takes a bit of an on-field time. But then again, it is not a must and usage depends on team.
Emilie has been really strong for me even in just random teams. I Even placed her in my Nilou teams as my nilou is c2 (dendro res shred) + deepwood Nahida. but encountered a realization that i may have to refarm deepwood for Emilie when pulling for kinich. Since who will dendro res shred cuz no way am i changing emblem and noblesse on Xiangling and Bennett
I promise u I was not expecting Emile over yelan/xingqiu, fischl, FURINA! , xiangling or yae miko. This surprises me on the same level as Ned stark getting killed in game of thrones. Like wow…
Okay so, Im fully new, only ar26. dont really have good characters. I have yanfei and razor and the standard free characters. I'll be getting tighnari in the update. But I dont have the electro supports to build a quicken team. should I pull for raiden? or just wait for better characters in 5.1. Altho Im pretty much stuck in story quests coz Im kinda pretty weak rn
I ended up getting Emilie as a mistake because I wanted to get c6 Yanfei... well... I benched my yanfei but I love Emilie's gameplay so much, she using burning as a dmg amp while being off-field is such a nice way to make an different but still reaction focused dendro character
I prefer Yae over Fischl in Alhaitham/Tighnari spread teams since Fischl's A4 Passive makes those teams the specific comp where Yae does more raw damage.
Fischl is better cos she can hold Elegy for them. Also she can place Oz after Alhaitham burst and let him switch back in to get infusion whereas Yae cant do that with her 3 totems but Yae is better with Tighnari cause her long on field time goes well with his quick switch playstyle.
i agree with this list, it seems you are getting some dislikes due to the exclusion of xinqiu but I think that's purely because yelan exists on this list and both of them are way too similar to be included in the same list, me personally I've not used xinqiu ever since I've gotten yelan, the only place I could have used xinqiu was on hu tao double hydro but that's been replaced with furina and on alhaitham quickbloom yelan/furina is better as well
Xingqiu is one of the best characters in the game but this video is about pure damage. What makes Xingqiu great is his various utilities but his damage is pretty low compared to the characters in TGS's list.
Well that's funny, because even though I have Yelan I never use her over Xingqiu and only use her at all if I need double hydro or a Xingqiu for a second team. And Yelan is not better than XQ on Alhaitham\Cyno teams in any shape or form. Tried playing them with her, tried them with Furina, but always come back to XQ, because he's just that good. So yeah, excluding XQ from this list is a dick move and TGS lost all credibility for me just by doing so.
@@Rina_TL Xingqiu applies a lot of hydro on enemies so you end up triggering more hyperblooms than spread or aggravate in Alhaitham/Cyno teams. You're better off just playing a straight up hyperbloom team in that case.
@@Rina_TL nope youre just wrong and don't know what the hell you are talking about, furina is by far the best team mate for alhaitham and yelan 2nd, there's a reason its called a QUICK BLOOM team and not HYPERBLOOM I think you need better comprehension skills before making acquisitions

I got Emilie and her weapon as I think she's another future impact unit. Even with sub-optimal teammates, she dishes out solid damage even without much support, with just burning present of course. I think and I hope Mavuika and Xbalanque will buff her to even greater heights.
Nice list. Not sure if it is exactly how I'd do it but they are all great characters, and everyone would have them on their top 10 at least. Got to say I am loving emilie. It really made me realize how much I hated having to battery xiangling. I ended up switching xiangling over to fav and damn it makes her infinitely more playable. I don't care how much damage I'm missing out on.
Sadly key banner was really bad for me (like 2/2 soft pitied 3 weapons bad) so while I was able to win the 50/50 for Emilie I wasn't able to get enough pulls to try and get her weapon. Hopefully her rerun is also a good banner, especially with the weapon banner changes.
My hot take is that I will always prefer Yae over Fischl, more use cases imo and casting her skill never took much time out of my rotations like everyone complains about and she just does more dmg overall you’d have to have a cracked c6 fischl with a 5* weapon and crowned to do similar dpr as Yae
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of xiangling. I try to play diluc. My xiangling deals more damage. I try to play yoimiya. My xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Hu tao. My xiangling deals more damage. I want to play Klee. Her best team has xiangling. I want to play raiden, childe. They both want xiangling. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull engulfing lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with homa." I can't pull for homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
The Emilie team that I liked the most so far, also valid for Kinich, is: Emilie Dehya-c3 (wolf tombstone) Furina-c3 Baizhu deepwood (with dragon slayer) Both the synergy and damage are brutal, achieving perfect rotations on cooldown. But Dehya c2 DPS to distribute more fire with hits and have the elemental active all the time.
I personally think in terms of off field damage, with one construct, chiori should be top 5. Based on calcs, the damage contribution chiori makes to her teams with 1 contruct is significantly higher than yelan or xiangling. And xiangling needs buffs to be a good sub dps. Xiangling should be last honestly. Chiori should be above yelan and arguably, arguably, furina. Again, chiori raise double geo teams by a lot. Like with lyney, hu tao and arle, double geo is viable only with chiori. Otherwise its an uphill battle. With xiangling, you only really need her for off field app and her damage in teams like lyney mono pyro, neuv vape etc is between mediocre to negligble and she does this while taking kazuha and bennet buff uptime. Chiori does not And with that, i rest my case.
The problem is that calcs dosnt consider double xiangling hits, which u almost always do in a team like international and that increases XLs dps by alot. As for yelan, if ur running single hydro with 1 skill per rot, then yea, chiori can be better dmg wise but if u include double hydro teams, she is not competing with just 1 doll. Her 2 doll team is itto mono geo and unfortunately, its still not good enough to be considered.
Chiori is about to become more popular with the release of Kachina. They both make a strong double geo core with good buffing capabilities in the form of geo resonance and the new artifact set and outputs decent damage due to Chiori. Xilonen and C1 Chiori, on the other hand, could become one of the strongest core in the game if Xilonen can indeed provide Kazuha level buffs.
no joke, at c0, Furina does not deserve in top 5. In solo Hydro, Furina needs a lot of ER, and her fanfare points don't go up very fast, her dmg is so low you better use totm on her instead of GT. Chiori however does much more dmg, yet not even top 5.
I personally think that Chiori value is only going to go up with the release of Kachina, Xilonen and the artifact set. Double geo core will become more competitive.
Wait doesn’t Furina do quite a lot of off field damage? Or is she not on this list bc she would be considered a support instead of a sub DPS? But she’s both
Finished the video and got The Feeling Spent 10 Wishes (I had 14) and I got Emilie's Weapon Some luck after losing 50/50 and and going to pity 79 to guarantee her
I feel like Emilie is gonna age like Kazuha where everyone regretted skipping after realizing how good he is. She's already pretty strong as she is right now and Natlan will only make her even better going forward.
In terms of just DPS sure but Kazuha's value is more about his utility and ease of use (also extremely flexible) so can't rly compare them both. I love Emilie tho.
@@kaito9836 I could be wrong but I feel like Genshin is trying to give the burning reaction a place in the meta, starting with Kinich and hydro characters that can use burning to enable forward vapes like Mualani. If we get more characters that can take advantage of the burning reaction in Natlan then Emilie will surely always be a top pick.
@@suzunome47 also melt teams use burn. though it is still not flexible enough, the only charcaters who can use her are the melt teams, furina, and kinich which is very limited when compared characters like zhongli and kazuha who got popular after their banners
i would put yelan and furina over fiscle.. from my personal experience.. yelan and furina's dmg is just so higher,, they also give buffs and so much flexibility
Where is nahida , there’s no aoe consideration in this video . yelan has literally no aoe outside of her skill and Chiori n Emilie outside of their burst
Tier list is supported by calcs as you can see. TGS probably calced only at single target to keep results consistent. As for why Nahida isn't there she'll probably only stay competitive on spread focused teams, and her personal damage in those teams probably wasn't enough to make top 5. That or he didn't calc Nahida in her optimal team for personal damage off field which I doubt.
furina is fourth although she can play in any team (with one healer) but emilie that can only play in burning is number one, also furina constellations > anyone else's xD
Indeed, Yae can deal damage from off-field, but she's not really a plug-and-play off-field character. Even if you don't do EEEQEEE, which is a mistake (you should burst just before you need to reapply her turrets) she still need considerable field time. So if you try to pair her with a character like Neuvillette, the team damage will be lower than pairing him with FIschl, even if Yae herself deals more damage than Fischl. That said, she's not really a on-field character either, because her normal attacks deal a small amount of damage compared to the rest of her kit. So she works great in quick-swap comps without a dedicated on-fielders. On the other hand, keeping Yae on field can still be very appealing when there are on-field buffs which will buff her turrets, such as Bennett's circle and Nahida's Court of Dreams.
@@Tabris-G I run Yae Fischl Nahida Neuvillette all the time, because I think it's fun, but I do recognize something like Neuvillette Kazuha Furina Fischl is probably more efficient. Neuvillette can *really* convert field time into damage. Right now I'm interested in trying on-field Yae in a Bennett Nahida Furina Yae comp.
@@Tabris-G that's interesting about fischl having er issues when she pratically has hardly any at all like 120-130 is usually the norm though i'm able to burst back every rotation due to her insane particle generation and her burst being only 60 cost. Though yae is superior as an onfielder and better in MT waves, that's why i don't consider them to be comparable.
This is the first time ever i see somebody saying nahida's burst name, he didnt even say bennett's burst name but said nahida's burst. Also I never knew that was supposed to be a court, kinda weird naming considering the nation of justice was coming next.
@@sata700 I looked it up. Nahida's Burst is Illusory Heart, the field is called Court of Dreams. The Bennett's Burst is called Fantastic Voyage and the field is called Inspiration Field. I should probably just call it Nahida's dome instead of Court of Dreams, as it's simpler.
TGS, I wanna start by saying I absolutely love your videos. Not only do you consistently provide thoughtful insight to characters and their kits, but also provide various team examples with calculations and easy to comprehend graphs. Furthermore, I enjoy your enthusiasm in videos as well as your wonderful editing style. With all that being said, I hope you know that my intent is only to provide constructive criticism rather than devaluing your hard work. I believe this video's concept is flawed. While damage is an incredibly easy metric, I believe it can be very misleading, especially when looking at how strong a particular unit is. The impact of a character is not solely based on their damage and because of this, I do believe you've overrated and underrated some units unintentionally. For example, I was quite disappointed to see Nahida completely omitted from this list. Though her raw damage may not compare to Emilie's, her dendro application is absolutely unmatched, making her extremely flexible as well as valuable as a subdps character to one's account. Furthermore, with Furina, I believe disregarding her buff is a disservice. The ability to both majorly increase team damage while also doing impressive numbers herself what makes her such a sought after unit for not only a person's individual account, but also many DPS teams. As for Fischl, she isn't as flexible as someone like Nahida and Furina, but in her niche, she is entirely irreplaceable and I believe that in itself is an incredible feat. I could continue with all the sub DPS characters, but I feel that would just drag things on. I apologize if this comment offends you in any way, that is not my intent whatsoever, as I watch and will continue to watch your videos with enjoyment. As it stands, though, I believe that your metric of rating these units, is in essence, flawed.
Stop comparing 5☆ C0 with 4☆ C6. Yae and Yelan have +2 years in game, multiple reruns and it is enough time for a f2p to save and get at least one constellation and the weapon. In 1.X version 4☆ characters had reruns so often and players got them C6 easy, but now some 4☆ reruns can take months and over a year. It is harder to get a 4☆ C6 than a 5☆ C0.
This is a bad argument. The majority of players are not pulling for constellations on their characters since it doesn't broaden the variety of playstyles available to them. Comparing C0 5 stars to c6 OLD 4 stars is just more relevant for a wider pool of the playerbase. I agree that new 4 stars are extremely hard to get c6, however most of the time these 4 stars aren't being compared as such, at least not until they have had a few reruns. I don't see many people assuming chevreuse c6 since she hasn't had any reruns. TGS, in this video, is assuming fischl c6 and xiangling c6, both 1.0 4 stars and available in the shop.
@@yayeet4250 In order to make a sufficiently objective comparison it is necessary to take into account the 5☆ character's constellations because it is absurd to ignore them if they are there. It is a matter of character potential, not just a pull value thing. As I said, it is now harder to get a 4☆C6 than a 5☆C0 and I have no problem with 4☆s being considered in C6, but with 5☆s, especially the older ones, should be considered in C1R1, maybe C2, for comparison purposes. If you want to collect all characters pulling only for 5☆C0 is fine, but if you want to pick only the characters with the most potential you might be interested in knowing the potential of 5*s with vertical investment. There are 5☆s that improve a lot with constellations, like Arlecchino and others not so much, like Xiao, for example. With 4☆s you cannot improve beyond your C6. Not everyone wants to be stuck with their favorite characters at 5☆C0, weapon 4☆ forever. Not with 4 years playing Genshin.
Kinda suprised with emilie on first place. As far as i know she is not bis for any team, so i dont see being her better than xiangling/furina or xq that are core members for many meta teams.
And thats the deal. Despite not being BiS, she contributes a lot and burning is actually more flexible than a mono pyro core which is Bennett + Kazuha, or a vaporized focus team with Xiangling as the forefront of dps contribution. Emilie does an insane amount of damage with high amounts of QoL in her kit. She is very easy to use, and burning has seen better cases nowadays, like burning in mono pyro, burning for burnvape, burning in burnmelt, and burning in quickburn too. She too, will become a BiS for Kinich burning teams. Emilie is replaceable if just focusing on burgeon.
I am very disappointed on your take with Chiori. You called her damage "Yelan Level", but you actively put Chiori at a disadvantage by giving Yelan her Signature PLUS Kazuha and Xingqiu, while you only gave Chiori HoD and just Zhongli. Why are you not also putting in something like Gorou's Passive buff? Just that increases Chiori's damage by about 10%. This is not even including C6 buffs or the first doll attacks and skill attack, where Chiori can benefit from the main buff from Gorou since she is on field. Chiori also benefits from the tons of ATK% buffs since she duel scales off of it. If you are going to give Yelan the best chance to do damage, you gotta do the same with Chiori. Despite the handicap, Chiori still did Yelan damage according to you, but you decided to not include just because you don't think Double Geo is competitive in the meta. That really isn't fair because at the beginning of the video, you clearly said this list is based on "How much they can carry the team with their own damage", so you went against your own rule here. In short, you gimped Chiori, but she still managed to reach Yelan level, but you decided to keep her out regardless, and that isn't right man.
Xiangling has been my most powerful sub-dps for the longest time... Then I got C6 Fischl + Chevruse and there was decent competition between the two. Now I got C2 Furina and everyone else feels like a joke
c2 furina has 78% higher dps than c1 furina plus 10-20% teamdps increase according to kqm, furina with no teammates and just burst buffing herself already easily outdps's every character besides xianglin vaping. (Problem with xiangling vaping is that you need bennet, hydro char but with chasca coming out who seems to synergize with the two xiangling).
No thats not true not good tierlist I would say that Yelan's the best because she has a lot more teams to play than any other character(probably, except xiangling) Edited: well btw it's just my opinoio, and in your video you just show yours, but sd can make wrong conclusion according to the prewiew
Yelan skill cd is 10 seconds, most of her teams have 20 second rotations. You will get both skill uses every rotation in most of her teams with C1. With C0 it's still possible to get 2 skills per rotation but you have to have a team that doesn't mind swapping to her mid-rotation and can do it at the specific interval her skill comes off cd.
@twigz3214 so if you have lax rotations c1 is usless because you skill every 10s anyways so you get 2 skills only at the start And if you have a strict rotation of 20s like you say the cd of the skill start after you do dmg not immediately so you get 1 charge only after you finish the rotation good luck lining that up with a 20s rotation or you just sit there for 3 or 4 seconds waiting It's fine to cope with your pulling decisions by convincing yourself that your decisions were the best no problem with that, but pls don't make other people do the same mistakes as you just for you to cope If you get it for exploration on the other hand power to you
@@gilgamesh5154 Yelan skill will often do damage instantly when you use it, so with a 20 second rotation you will get 2? If you run around with her skill for 3 seconds you're actively losing dps. I don't have her C1, just said how it worked. If you plan to act superior when you get something wrong go ahead I guess. It's possible you will need a 20.5 second rotation to use both every rotation but that isn't a large issue since no one is going to do a perfect 20 second one with having to deal with ping and such.

Chiori damage is not halfd at all without her second doll. It is a relevant damage loss, but her damage not only cam from her dolls but from the front load of the skill and the two follow up coordinated attack as well.
I agree with everything on this list EXCEPT the first place. If Fischl was restrictive enough to be 3rd place then requiring burning should put her to last. First place should have been one of Venti, Kazuha or Nahida. Their damage output is massive in AOE content when any reactions are involved. And I say that despite disliking Nahida and Kazuha and strongly preferring Venti over both.
They have really decent but not gamebreaking damage damage..... yet that damage is full aoe meaning you deal that damage to the entire feild. IE dealing 20k dps to one unit is way less than 10k against 8 units. I still don't agree but I see your reasoning.
@@AlwaysThirstys um no that's not true lol, 40k Xiangling is a vape, that 40k of Furina is not even a vape, and it's just from Craballeta she has 2 other pets
@@AlwaysThirstys Yet at the same time, Furina is buffing the dmg she deals so 60k would go up to like 68k per second, and its not limited to range too, so in realistic scenarios, enemies spawning on opposite sides of chamber would die quicker to Furina than to Xiangling since Furina already gets a headstart with her teleporting summons. They can even track the wenut and the ruin serpent. Xiangling takes a lot of investment and team effort to get her to reach 40k dmg. While Furina needs a healer for her to achieve results, Xiangling also needs personal investment, so not only C4, but also an R5 Catch plus good ER and EM for vaporize, else she depends on Kazuha additionally in mono pyro. Furina's pets may do less consistent AoE, but will always consistently hit enemies no matter how far across the chamber an enemy is, even flying enemies. Furina has high raw and vaporized damage. Xiangling is unbelievably mid nowadays as more teams find too many caveats in using Bennett or having to forgo him as they don't scale with ATK.
personally based on this list just being on damage I would put xiangling on top, when vaping she easily reaches 40k-30k swings so if you are considering emily's niche you have to consider xiangling niche of vaping. Next I would put chiori past yelan because simply she does 20% less damage than emilt according to current data a considering emily can deal 20k dps chirori should be close to top 5. Fishl kinda deserves to be top 5 if she is doing more damage than keqing in keqing agrevate. Also yelan doing two skills per rotation is highly unlikely-ie c1 luxury many dps characters lose too much uptime or buffs when doing a second skill resulting in decreased dps. Only in quick swap teams does yelan do 2 skills without c1 and most of those are reaction teams so they want xinqiu's hydro app. I don't think yelan or xinqiu should be on this list of emily is on top, she provides just damage whcih xiangling does more when vaping, if you put her on top it means you only value basicly damage which makes chiori who has similar comfort and damage needing to be placed here somewhere.
This is blind Xiangling worship. No one wants to run solo Xiangling with 500% ER who is there just to apply Pyro. No idea how Nahida got overlooked. In my opinon it should be 1. Furina 2. Yelan/Xingqiu 3. Nahida 4. Fischl 5. I'd probably put Emile over Xiangling here at this point. But C1 Chiori could be here as well.
Even if xiangling is glued to bennett, at the end of the day she is outdpsing most characters off field. You are heavily overrating furina because of her dmg% buff making her a better character overall, but her sub dps specifically doesn't exceed other characters, and it has the downside of hp drain like TGS mentioned. Nahida only really does comparable off field dps in spread/aggravate teams, realistically you are never running nahida solely for her sub dps like you are with emilie, chiori or fischl.
@@yayeet4250 XL is not outdpsing the strongest on-field dps. Stop spreading this myth Yes your Xiangling outdpes Razor and Freminent congrats. You atlk about HP drain as a downside but won't talk about XL's crarzy ER% req without pre funneling. FYI, yur XL doesn't do much outside vaporize so your Nahida point is also moot.
@@HotPepperLala Learn to read maybe? I said she outdpses most characters off field buddy, not on-field. Also, the biggest reason people run xiangling with bennett is to reduce her ER reqs, so if you are saying that she is glued to bennett, the ER requirements are no longer a point of concern. Regarding nahida, her skill hits once every 2.5 seconds IF you are triggering a reaction in that time period, compared to xiangling's constant hits with no ICD + potential double hits against bosses. Again, nahida is more of a support with high dendro app and EM sharing than sub dps.
@@yayeet4250 LOL you tell me to read but you can't either. Running Bennett without prefunneling on XL doesn't "erase ER reqs" You blind or stupid? XL doesn't "cosntant hit" if enemies are far away. I absolutely love Emilie….for me she does about 50-60k on her skill and I feel like she is super underrated. I can’t wait until people regret not pulling her as we move into Natlan
I understand that you are talking only about the unit dps in the team and in that regard the top is fine but this can be misleading since some of these units provides something really important other than their sub dps capabilities while some other don't, at the end of the day genshin is a game where you play a team so doing a top where you only do a ranking about their personal numbers doesn't show the full picture I term of personal sub dps damage only then yes emilie can be n1 but in the context that you are playing a 4 units team then I do think she is the worst of the 5 in your top, she only does offfield damage and have a special restriction for her to do damage, she doesnt buff anyone else on the team at c0 every other units on that list have another thing that makes them great, yelan buffs your onfielder and can also make then vape so it's also a large gain of dps for your onfielder + the double hydro archetype is super versatile and she is probably the best character for it a bit behind furina Furina can buff your team a lot and make everyone do more damage, she needs to be played with a healer though but considering some of the best units in the game can also heal it's not as big of a downside as it might seem (bennett, neuvillette, xianyun, kuki, etc..) Fischl is the most "pure offfield dps" on this list but considering that this is mostly played in aggravate teams and is super synergistic with it thanks to her a4 + the quicken aura benefits for all the team so in that archetype it's better to have a lot of units that does damage so she will probably stay better than any support units in that team for a long time if not ever Xiangling is the only pyro offfield applicator in aoe, she can make cryo dps melt, hydro dps vape and is a really strong teamcore with bennett Don't forget that in a lot of teams, sub dps are in competition with buffers for some teamslots and the best units in the game are almost all supports (or have great support capabilities)
The whole point of the video is sub dps. I heavily doubt people are taking this video as a benchmark for who to pull for, as it really doesn't consider the full picture and its sole purpose is to gauge off field damage. People have made top 5 characters lists in the past considering every aspect of a kit which is a more suitable representation of pull value. If anyone is being misled by this they are watching the video for the wrong reasons.
@@AlwaysThirstys No I feel good. I have furina and xingqiu I have zero reason to get Yelan. And Kinich best team is Kinich, Emilie, bennett, Dehya btw.
@@D4C_267 Pretty sure his current best team for overall team dps is Kinich, Xiangling, Bennet, Furina. That team will probably be harder to die on but it won't be doing more damage. Also, Xiangling damage and Furina adding some burgeons gives you more aoe and makes you less st locked.
@@twigz3214 No I checked calcs from KinichMains. Emilie, dehya, and Bennett is his best team. Are you building your xiangling with full em? Burgeon damage won't matter lol.
@@D4C_267 Think Burgeon damage will matter vs weaker aoe mobs. There's often not 3 pure st chambers in a row anyway. Emille lets you use Furina on the other side which can be nice, but Kinich and Xiangling both having 100% uptime on Bennet buff and Furina, Xiangling, and Kinich having Furina buff is great. Emille will likely be better in general when we get the pyro achron, she'll likley be a off-fielder. Atm I don't think Emille is better though since it just makes the team more st locked and doesn't let you use Furina which adds some burgeons and vapes. Also having more elemental coverage and elemental application is always great with the mixed shields we keep having to deal with.

Banger list
I’m looking forward to pulling her on her rerun. I managed to get her weapon while shooting for the other banner weapon.

The only reason we don't consider Emelie's Burning passive as good utility, is there aren't enough ways for us to die by fire. But in Natlan...
if you had posted this earlier, I would have pulled Emilie's signature weapon because it tied with Yelan's and they are both amazing...

Both the synergy and damage are brutal, achieving perfect rotations on cooldown.
Chiori does not
And with that, i rest my case.
Bringing calcs as an argument against a tc is a very bold move
The problem is that calcs dosnt consider double xiangling hits, which u almost always do in a team like international and that increases XLs dps by alot. As for yelan, if ur running single hydro with 1 skill per rot, then yea, chiori can be better dmg wise but if u include double hydro teams, she is not competing with just 1 doll. Her 2 doll team is itto mono geo and unfortunately, its still not good enough to be considered.
No
Chiori is about to become more popular with the release of Kachina.
The best part about Emily is that she's NOT limited to pyro x dendro team only unlike overload team like chev
I personally think that Chiori value is only going to go up with the release of Kachina, Xilonen and the artifact set.
Double geo core will become more competitive.

i would put yelan and furina over fiscle.. from my personal experience.. yelan and furina's dmg is just so higher,, they also give buffs and so much flexibility
0:00 GUYS!! 🗣🗣
Great Video as always, thank you!
SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW IN NATLAN!!! 🥳🥳
he waited until the banner ended to tell us that she is the best sub dps 😭.
I woke up today feeling kinda risky so I pulled on Emilie's weapon banner. It came early and so did I.
glad my Emilie got the recognition she deserves!
isnt nahinda considered sup-dps?
A Short Hike ost spotted, 10/10
I know i should get Emile and propaply she gonna be insane in natlan but i just want Raiden lol
if you upload this video when emelie banner still there, maybe i will get her.
well this is surprising list, i thought she is on mid lvl dps
thankyuu
Where is nahida , there’s no aoe consideration in this video . yelan has literally no aoe outside of her skill and Chiori n Emilie outside of their burst
Tier list is supported by calcs as you can see. TGS probably calced only at single target to keep results consistent.
As for why Nahida isn't there she'll probably only stay competitive on spread focused teams, and her personal damage in those teams probably wasn't enough to make top 5.
That or he didn't calc Nahida in her optimal team for personal damage off field which I doubt.
Ummm fischl OZ increases duration at C6 not C4
furina is fourth although she can play in any team (with one healer) but emilie that can only play in burning is number one, also furina constellations > anyone else's xD
I prefer to use Yae than fischl because Fischl have some ER issues and Oz applies so much electro sometimes
I'm early i think?? because every genshin video is 3+ years
TGS, I wanna start by saying I absolutely love your videos.
No All 4stars in standard banner .It not tough .Its you who spend all in limited time banner and then cry.
Ain’t no way lil bro put Fischl above Furina 💀
Furina's sub dps isn't the main reason she's good. Fischl's is.
Nah Bruh Kuki and Thoma was done dirty
The "Guys"-guy totally forget our Lesser Lord Kusanali
Kinda suprised with emilie on first place. As far as i know she is not bis for any team, so i dont see being her better than xiangling/furina or xq that are core members for many meta teams.
In terms of pure damage on her own, emilie's the best
@@sageofsixpaths8392 Isn't vape xiangling better?
@@AlwaysThirstys About on par, with Xiangling only being better in AOE as per calcs.
My take was just that she's Yelan level in terms of damage across the board but has more restrictions and since Yelan is 5th, chiori is off the list
@@AlwaysThirstys I'm aware of the math, but feeling it in practice on my account was something else
No thats not true not good tierlist
I would say that Yelan's the best because she has a lot more teams to play than any other character(probably, except xiangling)
Edited: well btw it's just my opinoio, and in your video you just show yours, but sd can make wrong conclusion according to the prewiew
I need a Emilie rerun ASAP
I don't agree with the _50 to 100% er on yellan if you have c1 cuz it only works on the first rotation pls build ER on your yellan even at c1
@twigz3214 so if you have lax rotations c1 is usless because you skill every 10s anyways so you get 2 skills only at the start
And if you have a strict rotation of 20s like you say the cd of the skill start after you do dmg not immediately so you get 1 charge only after you finish the rotation good luck lining that up with a 20s rotation or you just sit there for 3 or 4 seconds waiting
It's fine to cope with your pulling decisions by convincing yourself that your decisions were the best no problem with that, but pls don't make other people do the same mistakes as you just for you to cope
If you get it for exploration on the other hand power to you
@@gilgamesh5154 Yelan skill will often do damage instantly when you use it, so with a 20 second rotation you will get 2? If you run around with her skill for 3 seconds you're actively losing dps. I don't have her C1, just said how it worked. If you plan to act superior when you get something wrong go ahead I guess. It's possible you will need a 20.5 second rotation to use both every rotation but that isn't a large issue since no one is going to do a perfect 20 second one with having to deal with ping and such.
@@gilgamesh5154 Why are you acting like the person you are talking to has the c1? Very childish assumption that exudes an inability to admit you're wrong. It does NOT take 3-4 seconds to click an extra E on yelan like what?

im surprised Nahida aint top 3

Agree if only considering about dmg
Even if it’s damaged yelan and Xainling are not doing more damage then furina furina casually hits a 40k without her weapon and with it it’s 60k
@@102allenwalker xiangling hits 40k each second while furin hits 60k with her weapon every 2 seconds.
@@102allenwalker they both do more personal damage than furina
Qiqi klee nahida and sigwinne need to be sub dped by bbc daily 😋
personally based on this list just being on damage I would put xiangling on top, when vaping she easily reaches 40k-30k swings so if you are considering emily's niche you have to consider xiangling niche of vaping.
And I'm done for today
This is blind Xiangling worship. No one wants to run solo Xiangling with 500% ER who is there just to apply Pyro. No idea how Nahida got overlooked.
In my opinon it should be
1. Furina
2. Yelan/Xingqiu
3. Nahida
4. Fischl
Stop spreading this myth
Yes your Xiangling outdpes Razor and Freminent congrats.
What XL are you playing that Pyronado is hitting enemies on the edge of the abyss chamber? Stop making shit up. XL is bad. Nahida literally can one shot mobs with just E and a Raiden E from anywhere.
The list is made with mostly damage in mind, Emilie would've not been his number 1 otherwise
Yelan at rank 5 yea fake video
That said, furina>>>>all
Yae stunlock incoming.
GUYS!!! ❤
"Guys" 🐄
I absolutely love Emilie….for me she does about 50-60k on her skill and I feel like she is super underrated. I can’t wait until people regret not pulling her as we move into Natlan
Nahida?. Even on honorable mention. Sub dps / buffer / ttds lol
Just love Yelan ❤
I understand that you are talking only about the unit dps in the team and in that regard the top is fine but this can be misleading since some of these units provides something really important other than their sub dps capabilities while some other don't, at the end of the day genshin is a game where you play a team so doing a top where you only do a ranking about their personal numbers doesn't show the full picture
I term of personal sub dps damage only then yes emilie can be n1 but in the context that you are playing a 4 units team then I do think she is the worst of the 5 in your top, she only does offfield damage and have a special restriction for her to do damage, she doesnt buff anyone else on the team at c0
every other units on that list have another thing that makes them great, yelan buffs your onfielder and can also make then vape so it's also a large gain of dps for your onfielder + the double hydro archetype is super versatile and she is probably the best character for it a bit behind furina
Furina can buff your team a lot and make everyone do more damage, she needs to be played with a healer though but considering some of the best units in the game can also heal it's not as big of a downside as it might seem (bennett, neuvillette, xianyun, kuki, etc..)
Fischl is the most "pure offfield dps" on this list but considering that this is mostly played in aggravate teams and is super synergistic with it thanks to her a4 + the quicken aura benefits for all the team so in that archetype it's better to have a lot of units that does damage so she will probably stay better than any support units in that team for a long time if not ever
Xiangling is the only pyro offfield applicator in aoe, she can make cryo dps melt, hydro dps vape and is a really strong teamcore with bennett
Don't forget that in a lot of teams, sub dps are in competition with buffers for some teamslots and the best units in the game are almost all supports (or have great support capabilities)
I skipped Yelan for Emilie I knew I was making the right choice. My Kinich is going to be eating good.
More surprising kinichs current bis team ignores emily and uses furina. Lmao, though ona serious note, feels bad if you only pulled her for kinich.
