How exciting that you are going to Paris!! I loved Paris and the weather will be great in September! Thanks so much for watching Tamara, I'm looking forward to your garden video today. 💖
I used the toner trick but instead of cotton which absorbs more liquid, I use 2x2 gauze sponge squares. I use them for everyday use as well, not just for travel. I save lots of product.
Hello from Halifax. I have been packing in carryon and a personal item only since my honeymoon 15 years ago. Except for our Alaska cruise last year.. It is a very freeing experience. Love your videos ❤
Yes, I went to 🇮🇹 twice between 2015 and 2016 and only had a tiny carry-on. Best way to travel! Forces you to pack only the best staple items. Everyone should travel light.
@@sophiemac7494 The only time I ever had my carry on weighed was when flying on Cathay Pacific. It might be more prevalent in other airlines that I have never flown.
Hi Cathy, You are a packing genius. I'm an over-packer so I'll need to change my ways if I decide to do some overseas traveling. Only 2 more days until it's officially summer. Have a great week! Carol
Good job! I love travel cubes and have been using them for years, so handy and like to group my clothing in them. I have recently started taking Ziplock compression bags because for some reason I end up bringing home more than I brought, it is the weirdest thing 🤷♀I tried that toner trick too but didn't work for me either. I collect the Dr Dennis Gross sachets whenever they are on offer as samples from Sephora or point perks, they are individually wrapped and perfect for travel. Great job, thanks for sharing!
There's a great channel called Travel Tips by Laurie, I think you would enjoy her. There is a lot of wasted space we don't think about in suitcases. She helped me do 16 days in a carry on. I'm enjoying your channel!
Hi, Cathy from Mary in Florida. 🌺 I am a serial over packer, so I thought this was very impressive. I was mostly impressed with the toiletries and makeup! I’d love to see everything you took with you. x
Thank you so much Mary! I will link two videos that I have showing the clothes and makeup that I packed. Here you go: Travel Capsule Wardrobe: ruclips.net/video/Qh2P9VTxLAg/видео.html and my Travel Makeup for Italy: ruclips.net/video/ZJ4Ez0if0uE/видео.html
Thanks for this video. I also am Canadian from Ottawa and recently purchased the Monos hybrid carry on. Did you fly Air Canada and if so you didn’t encounter any issues with the size of your carry on? I ask because I keep hearing they are becoming more strict with carry on dimensioning and my carry on is 22” vs 21.5 and I truly doubt this would be an issue but it awesome to hear that you encountered no issues with Air Canada. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. Did you fly air Italia as I understand there is a carryon weight limit. Did you have issues flying internationally with the monos carryon either size or weight? Thank you!
Great video! Assume you flew with Air Canada. Did you have check your bag? Thinking of getting this same carry on but just worried it will be too big for overhead bin for AC.
Not sure you will see this question as it’s almost a year since your video but worth a try! My husband and I are going to Italy for 10 days in June starting in Florence and ending in Ischia and visiting several cities in between. Can’t wait! We are checking one bag each and will have a backpack each as our carry on/personal item. I am worried about fitting souvenirs in our bags on the flight home. Did you bring back any souvenirs and if so where did you fit them? Also what company do you use for travel insurance? Thanks in advance!
Did you have any issues with your monos suitcase? I wonder if the quality and “plus” size are worth the price... I'm also thinking of traveling to Europe soon! Thx
No, it was great. I use it on every trip even when I take a big suitcase, like my cruise in December. I hope that you get to go to Europe, that's exciting!!
Hi. Whats the demention or weight of the luggage after you lack ? I will book a flight from Paris to Italy in one leg of the journey and worry that my carry-on will be too big or heavy just for paris-to- italy flight requirements. thx
It depends on what you pack in your suitcase. I would suggest looking on the airline carriers website and they should have the weight limits listed. I didn't pack too heavy because I had to lug it around.
Isn’t there a weight limit on carry on luggage ? I thought it’s about 10lbs. 🤔 Planning to travel to Italy in the Fall. Your video is quite helpful. Thank you.

Great packing. I will copy that. Thank you. Hope you're having a lot of fun in Italy. Hello from Germany
Thanks Susanne! Italy was wonderful, sadly I'm home now. 😊

Wow, I'm not sure I could only take a carry-on. Good for you! And happy travels, stay safe! 🥰
Thank you Manon! 🥰
You are amazing Cathy! You did it. You are a pro packer!
Happy Monday! 💕🤗💕
I shocked myself Mary! LOL Have a great week! 💕
Love it Cathy! I’m a big fan of packing light and you’re a pro!❤️👍
Thank you! 💖
I love the cubes. They help organize things so you don’t have a bunch of stuff all over!
Me too!

I agree!
Great suitcase. Held so much. Packing cubes are awesome. No digging around looking for the item you want. Just find the cube!!
I know, packing cubes are amazing!! 😊
Don’t they weigh the carry on? I thought that your carry on can’t be more then 15lb. Maybe it’s not all airlines.
@@sophiemac7494 The only time I ever had my carry on weighed was when flying on Cathay Pacific. It might be more prevalent in other airlines that I have never flown.
@@martiwillis1848 thanks, I fly Lufthansa, KLM and British airways and they have restrictions regarding weight of your carry on.

Very helpful video! What did you use for your personal item bag?
Glad it was helpful! I have a Coach tote similar in size to a Louis Vuitton Neverful.
Great video- thank you! What ortho shoes do you use and do they help with knee pain?
I like Vionic and Mephisto shoes.

The CeraVe was fine.

No, we did carry on only. If you go on the Air Canada website it gives the dimensions for what fits in teh overhead bin.

Full size lotions for carry on? Is ok? SPF and cleanser?
3oz bottles for liquids in carry-on. Google TSA 3-1-1 liquids, it will explain the details.
