Thanks pal means a lot
I always do my first stud off the wall to my centre. Lazer level that stud. Then use a spacer for the rest of the studs on that wall
Top job mate, interesting vids to me being workshop based most of the time.
Cheers pal appreciate that
I remember you from rowland homes at Sandbach 🤣🤣🤣
Way back when 🤣🤣🤣
Cracking vid Dave, dam handy you being 5ft 18" tall lol Ever thought of a batt mitre saw on a stand ? all that bending down from that height is not good for ya back bud. Timber now days getting thinner 65 x 38 @ 600 centres wow
Cheers pal. 5ft 18” 🤣🤣. I do bring the battery mitre saw in every now and again. But you have set up in a certain place. Where as the circular saw can come around with you if that makes sense
What laser do you use? Thanks
Alright mate, lovely job! What circular is that you’re using?
It’s the dewalt flexvolt rear handled saw. It’s a big lad but it’s a beast
Did u make it pay Dave as there will be another visit for pipe boxings and window boards I know it only take an hour or 2 but that’s time from another fix ?
Yes and no. Like you say pulling you away from another fix. I’ve decided to leave site joinery now as I was forever chasing money. (More so than customers. ) I am now settling in to the flooring industry far more rewarding
Sorry if I missed it. How long did it take from start to finish? Prices looked a little on the tight side
2 1-2 days pal. And yes I agree especially on the 1st fixes. It’s a 2 day 2nd and it’s worth £700. So make up for it there
@@dave_the_carpenter_ So you fix the door liners on the 2nd fix?
@@gavincollins9376 yes pal. Unless the fire linings then the on 1st fix
Do you not have to have dust extraction on that site?
Yes mate. For 2nd fixing
Did it pay?
Thankfully yes
@dave_the_carpenter_ do you get that every week, pretty decent if you do
@@neilhowarth9362 roughly £800-£1000 take home weekly pal
After tax?
@@o0o5T3V3o0o unfortunately not 🤣
600 centres 💩!
How so?
