I wish I could speak english as well as he does in french. He uses a lot of sensitive french words which are perfect for description and full of details. What a kind and sweet interview. Well, as an Italian girl (Italian and French are actually quite similar), French isn't that easy to learn and he is actually really nice. I'm studying it, yet to speak is really difficult compared to listening. Well, I think it's kind of the same for every language, but I find it particularly difficult with French especially.

And he has issues translating the words sometimes because English is deeply rooted in him and we can assume the words come to him in his mother tongue first. But overall, as a French native speaker, he’s doing really good for someone who doesn’t visit France often.
I don't know anyone who can speak a language A) that is their 2nd B) most likely use 10% of time in their daily lives, perfectly. I work with many French/Spanish speakers their English is sub-par but in their mind it's fluent.But because they are trying and I usually get the idea of what they are trying to say, I respect and at times advise on the correct term/usage, not belittle to make them feel self conscious .
