Such a good idea getting a cabana for the day and day passes for the water park. The rooms are always so expensive. I do feel like for that price though, they should at least have the mini fridge stocked with drinks and have some snacks or fruit plate or something lol. We’ll have to try Sandusky Olive Garden some time. Love going to the OG once in a while. 😊
Yeah totally agree! We end up getting the room since the price for day passes is usually about the same. But honestly I would rather have a cabana then stay overnight now lol! It was such a great experience. Yeah , they offer to “stock” the fridge, but it’s on your dime lol. The price is better on weekdays, and closer to 150$ . So it’s almost worth taking a PTO day to get a better deal and less crowds! Day winter passes are really cheap right now during the winter while kids are in school during the week. We are big proponents of quick service. Our kids can’t really just sit and be patient lol. So it’s gotta be manageable for them. So we really like that Olive Garden and haven’t had a bad experience yet! Thanks for watching and commenting!

We entered the “lottery” system to get tickets to winter chill out. We should find out if we Acer selected by this Friday! South Carolina Sounds awesome! We are looking to visit the Caribbean next month to get some sun and time on the beach. Yes we were there over MLK holiday and it was busy! We really loved the cabana and will consider just getting a cabana instead of the overnight for our next visit since we are only about an hour away. Take care Daryl!

I personal don’t feel like it’s worth it, especially because you can use the water park on your check in day and check out day before your room is ready and after you checkout (until 6 pm). During the week, they might even have your room ready when you arrive. I also trying that money would be spent on arcade or a cabana. The self park is free at kalahari, so I don’t think the valet is necessary. If your going during the week it also won’t be too crowded in the parking lot. Hope this helps!
Honestly fam and I were here about a month ago and it sucked. Room was 6 miles away from park, everything was way too $, it was freezing inside and lines were way too long. But whoever likes it that's great for you!
Thanks for sharing! Yes we share this feeling regarding the hike from the room and the park. It’s far! I wonder if they had recently changed the water before your visit. We haven’t experienced any issues with temperature inside the water park. Castaway bay also seems cold to us compared to kalahari. And yes, I thought the lines for the slides were long when we visited during this video. My brother and I dropped the kids off with the wives and we waited forever for one slide. After that we just went to the mud hut. Offering a fast lane could be an option for those who don’t want to wait, but those programs make the standby even longer. I ultimately recommend taking a day off work and going during the week during the school year. Usually the day passes are half off since all the kids are in school. Lastly, yes the food is $$$ and unjustly so. We usually travel to get food nearby like we did in this video.
