Kelly has a PROBLEM---and it began and ends with HER. SHE chose to dislike the man who CHOSE to give her the chance to have the BEST CAREER SHE COULD HAVE EVEN IMAGINED, when he graciously selected her to be his co host when Kathie Lee retired from her job at LIVE.
Kelly OWED Regis RESPECT---TONS of IT---and instead she was a begrudging , entitled, hateful, resentful, spoiled, CLASSLESS backstabbing --you know what!
If she didn't LIKE Regis, and his style of entertainment, she should have NOT taken the chair next to him---BUT NO----she wanted the job of a LIFETIME---and the MONEY....and so the backstabber sat next to him with a fake smile...and the minute he retired---she GHOSTED him from her life. That's was SOOOO LOW-DOWN and DIRTY!

If Regis did something bad to Kelly I understand why she's upset, but don't wait until he's already dead before airing all the dirty laundry. At this point, he can't defend himself and it's just hurting his family.

I'm on the side of ABC and Kelly. Both ABC and Kelly say they invited Regis back and he declined. Seems like Regis was not telling the truth on that based off his previous employer and co-host.

Not really since she’s accusing Kelly of something she didn’t do. She never accused Regis being unkind in the book. All she said is that they weren’t friends that their relationship was purely professional and they respected each other. Also it’s kind of hypocritical for her to imply that Kelly doesn’t have the right to talk about her experience with Regis in her personal memoirs when Kathy Lee did the exact same thing. Now granted she never accused Regis of anything in her memoir but then again neither did Kelly.

Taking the high road because he treated her better - if she was in Kelly Ripa's shoes she might do the same thing. I'm glad Kelly is doing this because then going forward this is a warning to others- don't treat people badly behind the scenes or it may eventually come out.

I remember when Regis was interviewing women (people) to replace Kathie Lee Gifford and HE PICKED Kelly Ripa from a LONG list of candidates!!! His interviewing process went on for a LONG time (months) until he thought that he'd picked the RIGHT person for the job!!! She was ALREADY in the entertainment industry, but Regis is the one who gave her, her job as co-host!! Why would she slander his name and reputation after ALL THIS TIME??!!

When Ripa first started on “Live”, I liked her. But I noticed over time she started to show a behavior that looked very “Diva like”. After the Michael Strahan issue, it was no longer any question about how she felt about her importance IN THIS WORLD. I haven’t liked her for a very long time. I don’t need to. She likes herself enough for every person that ever lived.
I tolerated Kelly, but what she did to Michael Strahan was very unkind.

Kathie Lee is a classy, but most of all, a Godly Lady. Good for her.
Actually she isn’t. In the first place she’s accusing Kelly of saying things she never said in that book. She never accused Regis of being unkind. All she said is that their relationship was purely professional and that it wasn’t true that he was never invited back to the show after he retired. He was and they even have behind the scenes video of him visiting the set. That’s it, that’s all she ever said about Regis in that book. She didn’t accuse him of even half the stuff Kathy is saying. I’m pretty sure godly women don’t bear false witness. And this reporter clearly didn’t do any homework. It’s also hypocritical because Kathy wrote her own memoir in which she mentioned Regis, something she said Kelly had no right to do. So she’s allowed to do it but Kelly isn’t?
Give us the time stamp in the video where Kathie Lee says Kelly had no right to talk about Regis.
You're putting words in her mouth. She said she reacted to a headline. She said she hoped the headline wasn't true. She made it clear she hasn't, and won't read the book so she doesn't know what is in it. Like most of us, she's just reacting to media reports on the book and, IMO, gave Kelly the benefit of the doubt by saying she hopes the headlines aren't true. She never accused Kelly of saying anything.

When I read what she said Regis said, it was so obviously a joke. Definitely his sense of humor and not mean. I don’t know how she could know anything about him and call that piling on. I heard him say similar things on his show about others and it was always in good humor for a laugh and not malicious. I’ve really lost respect for Kelly Ripa for this and her tantrum losing a co-host.
I met Regis and Kelly years ago at WDW while they were recording the Christmas special. When the cameras were off Kelly was a totally different person. The smile was off her face and she didn't interact with anyone

God will teach kelly ripa is His Own Wondrous Way. She has some lessons coming to her in the future. She has been so incredibly blessed and takes most of those blessings for granted.
I had an opportunity to meet Regis. Was out at a restaurant in Greenwich CT that he and his wife Joy frequented. This must have been 2005-2006ish (?). The maitre d’ knew my relative very well and wanted to bring Regis over to say hello to our table. Of course I was using the bathroom when this all happened LOL. When I got back to the table I was chided about missing this once chance encounter. But my family said he was a perfect gentleman. In light of anything Ripa says, it’s hard to believe her anyway given her track record as a class A beyotch.

Kelly Rippa is the only person I've ever heard say anything bad about Regis and he was in the business for decades and met thousands and thousands of people both celebrity's and the public..
If Regis Philbin called out Kelly Rippa in the same way that Mariah Carrey called out Meghan Markle for being a Diva, then good for him. Sometimes the TRUTH can hurt and ruffle feathers.
I had a friend 20 years ago who was an attendant/manager of a belated comic and the comic was a guest on show. The manager said he never felt more uncomfortable backstage as the tension was beyond palpable especially when Rippa was in a snit. He never witnessed people employed by an entertainment show move so fast to make sure it didn’t bubble over. The comedian he was employed under wasn’t much better as he barked orders relentlessly & stated at the time that it’s the nature of the biz. Some people believe if they knock someone hard enough that they can own that pedestal. Her ego at that time had dominated the set with every threat she (allegedly) made. I tought he was exaggerating until Strahan flew the coup without saying a word to his co-host.
Wow. Evidently, she's been getting away with alot. Question is who is the power above her, behind the curtain, so to speak, that allows this behavior to go on? And, for what reason? There are MANY, MANY, better looking, more talented women , perhaps more highly educated than her, far less obnoxious personality that could sit in that seat. Co hosts have run.

I never understood why ppl sided with Ripa when Strahan exited so quickly and she responded as an entitled diva. I was certain she'd be fired for her antics of refusing to show up for work for a few days. And her commentary upon her return was icy cold and entitled. And yet she managed to keep her job and her fans??? I don't get it. Michael Strahan is the most likeable guy and fun to watch. I was totally Team Michael!!
Kelley has issues and im tired of her perfect life i stopped watching the show afer regis died and now she writes a book about him and ryan ses crest he is a joke

I listened to what Kelly said at the end. Unless the book says more then what she said, I dont see anything wrong with what she said. Basically she said they were not close, or friends off camara.
And that’s why we all love you Kathie Lee Gifford because you never have a bad thing to say about anyone.
Is it wierd to speak against a book you haven't read and don't plan on reading? And to judge the experiences of another woman just because they weren't your experiences.
The only thing that moves on her is her lips and even they are tight, I don't know why women do this instead of aging gracefully because they just don't look right, is she even in show business anymore? There's just too much filler nothing is moving there's no expression I have nothing against Kathy Lee I like her enough as far as talk show host go but as a woman she doesn't look right it's so obvious such a shame because it really changes what they look like completely & it looks so unnatural. She was a good looking woman now she looks so different...if it makes her feel better fine but why?....it's like denial or fear....but unless you're Jane Fonda and have the best surgeons money can buy....it's not making you look younger or ageless.... it's making you look wierd & some look completely distorted. Wrinkles, laugh lines, are character and a sign of life, expressions produce wrinkles even on children...just my opinion, I know but would love to see these woman embracing aging instead of running from it, it's life. Youthful looks don't last forever...don't run from it, accept it. ❤️

Regis supported Kathi Lee when Frank cheated on her and the National Enquirer broke the story AND when Kathi Lee was exposed for under paying her people who were making her clothes for Walmart
