Regis had so much more to offer. He attended the theater quite often and did mini reviews. Movies too. Restaurants -same thing. Culturally he was far superior to the inane things they talk about now.

Regis and Kathie Lee were invited back to Live! but only to do a Halloween show that made it look like Regis and Kathie Lee were living a dream and their show didn't actually happen. It made Live! in a better limelight and Regis & Kathie Lee in a submissive light

I'm 100% sure Regis Philbin loved Kelly as his own daughter. People like Regis can write full thick books based on just one day of their lives because they were always active doing a millions things at ones. By the time Regis started hosting LIVE, he was on the start of cooling down his engine. If Regis was able to sit next to Kathie Lee Gifford every day for 12 years (OH MY GOOD!), then that man loved EVERYONE!
He and Kathi Lee were FRIENDS. Not so with Kelly. Kathie
@@janeoleary8454 Regis and KLG were a little closer in age. She was married to the older Frank, so the two of them and their spouses were friends. I think Regis was in awe of Kelly at times. She was really funny if you look back at some of the old tapes. I do think he loved her as well as he loved Kathie Lee.😊

I never watched Live with Regis and Kathy Lee until it became Live with Regis and Kelly, I have been a fan of Kelly’s since she walked into Adam Chandlers house in Pine Valley. It’s hard to watch Live today because I can’t stand Ryan.

Interesting, another "tell all" book about a relationship they pushed as wonderful on air and now that the other person is gone they trash for money. Seems from others coming out about her that she and her destructive narcissistic behavior was (and is?) the issue. No basic human decency there, I want be reading it or watching anything she does. Let's hope and pray for everyone especially Kelly Ripa to see the light and do the right things for everyone not just themselves. My opinion

Got it and read it (unlike others offering reviews of something they have never read). It is great - worth every penny I paid.
I watched "All My Children" all the time and loved her character Hayley. Have watched her and Mark over the years and thought what a darling couple they are. Will be looking for the book--Congrats, Kelly.
The book is great. Her dedication, drive, hard work, and talent have given us years of entertainment. With the book you get to know how much it took to do that job. As always, Kelly’s magnificent sense of humor shines through.
Never liked Kelly when she became host. She sounds and acts like a snob. Who writes a book after someone has died and then say negative things especially about someone like Regis is loved by so many. Know what they say about Karma. All the botox has gone to her head.

There was an almost 40 year age difference between Kelly and Regis. That is huge. It makes it kind of hard to relate to each other. Too much of an age gap.

Some of what criticism came her way was pretty much her own doing. To imply it was the idea that women have no voice is serving her purpose to explain her actions. I honestly thought she was too much and I really didn't care for live with whoever. Looking forward to the day, we don't have to see or hear from her any longer.
