This tutorial doesnt work because the PC isnt responding so click, type or anything is available. SOLUTION> restart your PC the hard way and pray for your components. Dont forget to thank Mcsoft and their hard work to mantain the same issues since windows 95 to prevent people to feel nostalgia.

I was able to click on only the bottom/top part of my screen but nowhere in the middle! Never experienced this before. restarted the windows explorer and fixed immediately!!! Thanks!

My mouse will move but for a several seconds I cannot click anything on my screen unless I reload, I can see my screen flicker very quickly when the issue stops. It's like something is farming my data and the clicking is disabled to stop the data transfer being accidently interrupted. It is probably something very innocent but who trusts computers or Microsoft anymore?

Windows 10 I didn't have this problem Windows 11 I have this problem it's really freaking annoying no matter what I do I can't fix it The only way I can get it to stop doing this is if I freaking sign out of my computer or even reload my whole computer I mean obviously there's something wrong with the UI for Windows if it's doing this everything else is clickable on your computer the menu the search bar you can browse the internet and everything but everything on your desktop all the icons get stuck and they don't let you click on them like your whole desktop is literally frozen in place which makes no sense everything else works but only the desktop be doing this
My right click is not working on desktop and in file explorer or any other folder too. Also the options above the folder such as back, copy paste, rename etc which shows inside the folder are disappeared and blank empty space has came. I can't make right click there too. Please help me I'm facing this issue from past one week.

If this doesn’t work try pressing control alt delete and with the arrow press lock press enter and then log in again.

Anyone still having this problem that app only shown at task bar and when you click it it doesn't open , if the app is open in taskbar , select it , then use windows logo key+arrow key right , multiple times, this will adjust the window to the edge of the screen and let you control it , install your gpu driver using geforce experience that solved it for me ,keep me updated

this is weird, I thought it was working (& it did) but only for the right side of my desktop?? The left side icons are still stationary as if part of the background- not working, can’t click on them or open them and I don’t know how to fix , please help😭🙏🏻

I have a problem with my friend laptop, he said he got a blue screen and then the laptop immediately restart by itself
When the laptop is on, all the background app (aka the shortcut app like chrome and game) are disappeared, or gone to nothing only background wallpaper.
He can't even do left click to refresh, and can't click windows button.
But we already tried to restart the laptop by:
Ctrl+alt+del
To click the restart button.
But the same thing still happen, but then we got an idea, what if we open file explorer.exe? Then we do it with Ctrl alt del, to open task manager, but task manager doesn't open.
There are no app, anything, and can't click anything, and can't open anything.
But he can go to Ctrl alt del
