Nice I love those old buses
YEah man its great to see old equipment operational
nice new jersey equipment
I wish they hadn’t discontinued those Flixible Metros. Those where the local route buses I remember growing up plus the MCI MC9 models. Now I’m used to the NABIS but again liked the Flix better. That sound man oh man!
It would definitely be nice if the bus was like those were still around and in service
👍 😊Thanks for the comment 🚏 🚍
I do not like the Nabi buses as much as the older buses
Now only if NJ Transit Historic Museum Bus would bring most if not all their buses to Jersey City -Exchange Place and have the museum fleet look upon by the masses. Joy rides would be included. If only Jersey City would partner with NJ Bus Museum of having a mega showcase. Bus enthusiasts, Retired drivers of NJT and current operators, Riders, casual onlookers, fans of a certain bus from New York City, Newark, Hudson County and northern New Jersey would have an easier ride of getting to JC. I hoping for 2019
Classic buses
Definitely classic buses
New Jersey....I remember traveling from DC in the 70's to Atlantic City and Wildwood and looking at all the different brands of buses in the parking lot...my grandparents used Gold Line or B&A (Baltimore and Annapolis) bus companies and they both are extinct....
11:22 that eagle 😍
Very good
They drive like Maniacs.
If you drive a bus and wait on people in NJ to be nice to you it won’t go well for you. NJ & NYC weren’t built on helping your fellow citizens. It’s dog eat dog up there. I drive a motorcoach for a living and I’m telling you that nice bus drivers finish last up there.
Like the flxible metro and tmc rts nova buses
Me too they are awsome historical pieces of equipment!
👍 😊Thanks for the comment 🚏 🚍
that eagle towards the end of the video is cool.

Uhh.. greyhound-like buses in use as a regular transit bus? Even as a kid in ky brief stint in NJ i was puzzled...
Ha! I went (Las Vegas, early 1990s a Vegas-used Transit (MCI) just like you said)..On the other hand, TRANSIT-like buses were used for many years, some cases cross country now as Greyhound types (Very largely suburbans, not reg.transits. Most had four-speed stick shifts of the double=-clutch type just like the Greyhound/'rivals, aka.charter/over the highway types.
Whats the name of the bus @0:34 & @5:10 ? Feel free to share any nerdy facts on these buses, haven't seen them since childhood (Northern NJ). Also curious about the Nova buses too, thanks in advance!
Mci makes the beat buses
You see how they look?
Seems like the first 6 min was the same bus driving around in circles🤔
nice video, mobile command bus was my favorite!
I wish they could come back and use the nova rts in service
De-ANDRE KING I wish they would order the Millennium RTS to replace the Nabi buses
