It's about the only older album other than Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells that was made for quad sound. Someone mentioned about Pompeii. Pink Floyd recorded a video for their song, Echoes Part 1 & 2 at the ancient Coliseum back in the 70's. Back then, it was considered 1st live event since 79 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted and destroyed ancient Pompeii. Back in 2016, guitarist, David Gilmour returned to Pompeii with his solo band to have a concert at the same Coliseum.

Classic. You need to do Shine on You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. Very long song but worth it. Many of their songs have long buildups. They were masters of anticipation. I was fortunate as a kid that I had I diverse group of friends. I came up on rap, rock, oldies, country, pop and all other sorts of music. It's a shame how some people came up with such a narrow selection when there are so many great artists out there of all types. Glad you got the message of this song as well. As we get older time goes by much quicker so it's important to cherish every moment we can.

Pink Floyd has a HUGE library of music. You really can't go wrong. I might suggest videos from the Pulse concert. Seeing them play is a spiritual experience .
The greatest band to ever pick up instruments, their story is so interesting. Sadly I never got to see them all together live but seen gilmour once & waters twice.. amazing shows I wish you could post pics on here.
