    I've owned mine for about 5 months, one of the favourites in my rotation. Locks down really well, no heel slip.

    Yes Fordy ive got this shoe and really luv the bounce it gives you on long runs. Like you im not that keen on the think upper. Andy FOD runner summed it up perfectly it gives back what you put in.

    Agree exactly on all points (have about 80km in them). It's funny how most people want "the best" (Nimbus) which I guess leads to amazing discounts for the poor Cumulus, which is actually a better (more balanced, still soft enough but more stable) shoe overall. As for the laces, I'm not sure why but mine never came undone. I have the opposite complaint, they have too much friction and it's not as easy to unlace, plus they twist too much which annoys me! Incredible contrast to my Deviate Nitro 2 laces that are just perfect.

      Great points. I think what happens is people try on the Nimbus in the store and are blown away by the squish/comfort. But that shoe does not feel stable whatsoever. In fact ifs very squirrelly at speed. The Cumulus doesn’t look as cool as the nova blast, isn’t as squishy as the nimbus but man is it just one hell of do everything pretty well kind of shoe. I have two pairs.

    It’s my favorite shoe. I am still a slow runner, but it’s the most comfortable. It is a bit warm. The Nimbus however was too clunky and yet still felt like it wasn’t on enough.

    Got mine this week and I love them! Very comfortable, stable and a great alternative to the nimbus for me. Agree about the hot upper though. Will be getting another pair for casual wear.

      Is it a more lively Nimbus 25? More energy return? Comfort? The weight of the Nimbus 25 scares me..

    • @erinmalette7276
      @erinmalette7276 9 месяцев назад +2

      Definitely more versatile and lighter. I can pick up the pace a bit where the nimbus is for slower runs. Comfort level was the same for me in both.

    I've done 450km in mine. Really like them. Have done 5k and mile PBs in them. And finished two marathons. Size 16 so don't get many shoes. I like them but might try for something softer if I can find for my next shoe.

    I keep thinking about buying the white colorway as a cheap long run shoe. but I think I would always prefer to use the noosa or evoride speed.

    I agree with you Chris. I got 400+ miles on previous versions, and on this v25 the midsole feels softer but the upper is just as thick as its ever been. So many great deals though (I got it for like $70
