Remember that if the surface of the hub is covered with a layer of rust, you need to clean it before mounting the new brake disc. Mounting the brake disc on an uneven surface might lead to radial runout, vibration in the braking system, faster wear of the components. You can use low gradation of sand paper to clean such rust. Remember to apply force equaly not to damage flatness of the surface by trying to clean it - You can for example put the sand paper over some flat steel object. Hope it helps. Cheers

Great tutorial, but you forget to say one thing. Before pushing back piston we need to check brake fluid level because it can leak out of the bottle and damage paint in the engine space.
I learn it the hard way on my old car. :)

And the fact that it can be harder to push the piston in, when the cap on the resevoir is on. And the fluid level can become too high. So you'll need to suck a little out 😊

Hi I'm in love with old station wagon by Peugeot I really like the design and the loading space. I' m thinking of buying a 2005 or 2006 gasoline 307 SW but don't know much about It so hope you could help me . Could it be generally considered as a reliable car or there are particular issues or bad production years to take in consideration? Please I need to hear something from a real owner....Thank you

Hello i have a problem with my 307sw, the car doesn't lock/unlock remotely, only from the lock on the door. A locksmith told me that the key is working fine and that it sends signal, but the car doesn't receive. Is there a module in the car that I can fix?

    • @isitfixedyet891
      @isitfixedyet891  6 лет назад

      Hi Platon,
Most common problem is a weak battery in the key fob (have a look here for disassembly: ruclips.net/video/SLltqhyNgrQ/видео.html ).
If this is not a case it can also be a problem in the keyless entry antenna or damaged wiring. It might also be a power door lock, control circuitry or simply a fuse.
If you are planning to check this by yourself you will need to do a lot of checking with the multimeter for connection (resistance in the cable). Might take a bit of time but that is always the case with car work :)
      Cheers and good luck!

Thank u very much, your videos are very helpful, recently i fixed my power windows with the help of your video.
In this case i think it's the keyless entry antenna but I cant find anything in the internet about its location in the car, and how to fix, maybe you know where its located

      Hi Platon,
I have been looking for it for some time but did not find it yet. I will come back to you when I locate it. Let me know if you find it first ;)
      Cheers
