Another one I really like is when, right before fighting in Mordor to divert Sauron's attention from Frodo, Gimli says that he didn't imagine he'd die beside an elf, and Legolas responds with "What about a friend?". Then there's also when Elrond wants Aragorn to summon the dead army of the mountains, Aragorn says they won't answer to anybody, and Elrond tells him that they will answer to the King of Gondor while he unsheathes Anduril. Finally, from that same "For Frodo" scene in Mordor, I really love that the music playing has a choir of elves singing in Sindarin the same lines that Aragorn said to Frodo in The Fellowship of the Ring: If by life or death I can save you, I will. So many chills down my spine; amazing trilogy!

I find it so much easier to watch hands than those descending vertical bars, as it takes the guesswork out of the fingering. But I suppose the bars are good for spotting the next notes to play. An improvement to that program would be what number finger to use; 1-thumb, 2-first finger, etc for right hand.
I'm glad I was not the only one who noticed I kept wondering I like lord of the rings but why does this sound slightly bad and then I realised that the piano was bit out of tune
If you keep playing like that, you'll get wrist pains. Wrists up, pinkies in! 1:56 I'm not joking, if your right hand makes that shape when you play piano, you will have significant pain later in life. I really suggest you see a professional about your form. I used to play like that and now my right wrist cracks when I play, I'm fortunate that someone told me while I was still young.
I do not play every day, so my unprofessional movements will not lead to neuroparalytic pains. P.S. My brother is a traumatologist, I am a surgeon. So, I think, I will deal with this problem :D P.P.S. Thank you for recommendations ;)

I like the scene with the lighting of the becons of Amon Dîn.
We may not have much classical music made these days, but some film scores can be pretty great stand-ins. LotR is the prime example.
