I just received my first Kizer knife. It is one of the less popular models called the Clutch. Workmanship is flawless. Blade is perfectly centered and it drops shut.
As a Chinese knives collector and reviewer I can testify that the Chinese knifemakers improved a lot during the last few years and one just couldn't compare the knives that came out of China 5 years ago and the current offerings. Kizer and other companies do what they know how to do well (CNC) and don't dive head first into unknown areas and that allows them to perfect their products. Great topic BladeHQ, cheers!

I have the exact version/color of the Begleiter companion, and have to say it's my favorite knife in my collection right now. Love the size for EDC, and the thumb stud flipper is super easy to master. I agree with Zach about the blue collar which is what sold me on the knife.
And it's even better once in hand Patrick. A crazy nice knife, and it's like two knives in one. That forward finger choil. Let's you get up close and personal, with your cutting action. If you need to.
I own a Begleiter in black g-10 and the Kizer Pinkerton Rogue. The Rogue and it's wharncliffe blade is amazing versatile. I'd love to get the Gunhammer, Titanium Bad Dog, Zugang and the Feist. I'd totally get one with this sale but funds are low with the holidays and personal issues. Some of the older guys at my work (factory job with a lot of older gents) see my Rogue they love it, but then are suprised as hell when I tell them it's made in china. I explain to them, same as Ol' Nick says, it's not about where it's made, it's how it's made and what's put into it.

So many kizers. Actually the Envoy is the one that calls out to me. It's small, good blade, same awesome materials and make, plus the deep carry pocket clip. It's nicely priced too. Don't understand why it's not more popular
The only reason I haven't bought a ruike, kizer, WE...etc. is because of the fact that I don't like liner and frame locks, although the roach is really tempting.
Same. I'm so tired of titanium frame lock flippers everywhere. I have a dream about some s35vn blade with compression lock and without spider hole and with g10 handle and it's never going to happen and i'm sad

I love Kizer AND Mr. Shabazz! My “Kizer Kount” stands at 4 and wanting more! I have a Roach, Ophid, Purple Luminare and a Quest Skull (carried October 1 thru November 2 only).
I bought a Kizer Velox 2 to be my EDC, and its very well built, but the G10 along with the style of pocket clip it comes with rip up my pants pocket, even after bending it a bit.
More importantly the Megatherium's "edge below tab" design puts the... edge below the tab. Imagine that. I think that fact deserves more attention because for me the tab getting in the way on cutting boards is a major deterrent of flipper designs.
Just refunded the ZT 0450 that I bought from Cabela's due to the very common frame lock and blade steel issues. Just ordered the Gemini from BladeHQ today!
FYI if you mean all Kizer knives are for sale you are correct. Not all have had a price reduction prior to this video. I would expect better from you Blade HQ.
I like both the Megatherium and Sovereign but if I had to choose: Megatherium. Haha love the profile of the roach but the only reason wouldn't get to the roach is cuz the roach engraving on the clip that creeps me out xD

Correct me if im wrong but is every one of those knives Liner Locks? I dont have any liner locks in my collection & I never will! The only one of those thats not hideous was the $52 one
Everything just not a fan of em. Poor design for one and dangerous. Ive seen too many (even higher end ones fail). ie I had a brand new $200 knife that would fail simply by tapping the spine on my index finger or palm lightly. Im sure there are companies out there that do LL properly but Im done taking my chances with em.
Do you like a big knife or small knife? Fixed blade or folder? Small: CRKT Pilar, CRKT Squid, Big: Kershaw Emerson series, Ontario Rat 1, Kizer Begleiter, Spyderco Tenacious. Those are some excellent choices. Give me a few more specs on what you're hoping for in a knife and I can narrow your search a bit. -Ben
You can't go wrong with either. That said, if you're looking for longer-term customer support, Kershaw is a bigger company and is geared to serve more people, more often. You might be down to comparing warranty and external things surrounding the knives themselves.
Heller Six the Gemini is amazing. bought a second one just because it was a good deal but it is ridiculous smooth and one of the classiest knives out there in my opinion
Communication wasn't very good, card was denied the first try but accepted the next try. knives were shipped separately and I entered a GAW I believe was old even though it had no expiration date.
Finally found the first banter with Zach and Ben together! Love this duo the best
Fast forward to now and both are no longer at BladeHQ.

Missed my two favorite Kizers, the Splinter and the Sliver. The Sliver isn't in the Vanguard line, but it is a great value. S35VN steel for about $50.

I use the same finger on front flipper as I do on flipper. I roll the front flipper around with the side of my index finger.
I carry the bedweter it is the right weight feel great in my hand, the blade is tough and holds it's edge.
