About AVATAR:
On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

To me, this whole battle felt more real and exciting, more compelling and fun than anything in the MCU, including the fan-gasmic battle in Endgame

@@Mike_416 the collective nervous system of Pandora is worshipped as a deity, personified as Eywa/Eiwa. Most lifeforms on Pandora have a cord that sends nerve impulses, messages, memories, emotions, etc. when connected to another cord. Kinda like how certain parts of our neurons light up, and we've come to know which parts of the brain and its nerves are responsible for what. Basically, sci-fi telepathy. The other person was talking about the scene were the space rhinos the size of semi trucks come charging in. Sorta sentient collective conscious called the supermassive wildlife to charge on nearby humans/Ewya brought the animals together during a crisis. Basically, space telepathy bring giant animal to crush mean sky people.

When the Hammerheads and Sturmbeests appear and destroy the AMP suits, then many Untamed Ikrans appear and start to destroy the scorpions and samsons, while in earth the viperwolves attack the soldiers and a Thanator joins the battle
The part were Jake jumps on the colonel's gunship, runs to the windshield and flicks the grenade pins was so badass 😂
To see this whole battle for the first time in IMAX 3D was insane!

The very fact that even Sturmbeest allied with those who hunted them shows how dire threat RDA was to everyone on Pandora.

The scene of wild Ikrans' reinforcements' flight gives me goosebumps every time I see it. As Na'vi sympathiser through and through, I do feel pleasant sence of pride myself.

When I see this movie, I'm a Na'vi sympathizer, when I saw the cruelty and aggression by the mega corporation of RDA, I would be proud to fight alongside with the Na'vi, regardless of the differences.

I love seeing Jake hanging off the missiles on Papa Dragon. That one shot felt like it was right out of Vietnam. Its insane and bada** at the same time
Never get tired of seeing this scene, especially when Quaritch’s bomber gets blown by its own payload, and that’s when he knew he had lost the battle.

Kinda wish we saw more about Neytirir and the Thanator. Apparently, it’s one of the few animals the Omitakaya don’t worships because they’re that feared. I think Neytiri should get some props for that!

That was like really close. The 1st payload was just about on the edge of the ramp and then slides back
I never understood the sheer importance of them making sure those bombs didn't fall out of the aircraft, like i knew they were gonna bomb the tree but the magnitude of death of the tree never stuck. Like their moral would have been completely gone like all the fight out of them.
The music on the first movie it's just way better than the second one

I might make a movie similar to this when older instead of being blue, They’re going to be red but and like 13 feet I’m the protagonist. See you when it’s out. Early 2030 if I can.
Make sure you do your battles as good as possible, make no side act like complete morons and make reasonable designs for weapons and Vehicles, get someone with military experience or equal experiences to look over your battle scenes for the tactics and the way people move and use weapons, how they use cover and coordinate, make sure they tell the actors what body language to use, how to carry weapons and how to use them realistically, and make sure you have a really good plotline on why everything happens if it involves fighting, and god damn if you make comedy scenes, have them fit the context of your movie and dont let them make someone look like a complete imbecile like in the „funny scenes“ in Avatar 2 or MCU and Star Wars, Plot, Characters and Logical Storytelling trump rule of cool, nostalgia and comedy if it comes hard on hard, only fit things in if it makes sense, dont force something into a scene where it has no place. The only Place Rule of Cool trumps is on Design, but the plot should never be compromised because something would look cooler if you did.
