One the second line someone can love someone but not marry them and the second statement can still be true? I am taking logic and this is what throws me off understanding logic, will you please explain why this is false?
That makes absolutely no sense to me. The first table you made, the second row, they love you and they don't want to marry you, why is that false? I've been there, in those type of relationships. Also could be a family member saying I love you but don't want to marry you so that statement isn't false, right? And th last one, they don't love you and they don't want to marry you, how is that false? They're telling you the truth?
Christian - I did use a sensitive topic here. You may want to replace my statements with p = I ate pizza, and q with I ate quiche, then see how it goes. If I say I ate pizza or I ate quiche and I ate either one of them, then I am telling the truth. If I say I ate pizza or I ate quiche and I ate neither one of them, then I was not telling the truth. As for the AND table. If I say I ate pizza and I ate quiche, yet in reality I only ate one of the two, then I am not telling the truth. I hope this helps a bit.
