hello everyone! thank you so much for watching this video and all the love I have received on it! I made this video a while ago and lots of questions you may have, I have made new videos about! I also don’t 100% like the way I worded everything in this video - I was young and didn’t speak the most eloquently. here are a bunch of other videos from me that are all regarding school and are more recent (that I like more)! :) . *I will continue to update this list since I am still making videos frequently about being successful in school!* (IN ORDER OF DATE PUBLISHED) how to be organized in school (2019)-> ruclips.net/video/jGrX2slG8h0/видео.html updated distance learning 4.0 video (2020)-> ruclips.net/video/o8CRx89to6Y/видео.html how I take aesthetic and organized notes (2020)-> ruclips.net/video/3HpUJ_LW0vE/видео.html setting up a bullet journal for school (2020)-> ruclips.net/video/jP_WUJotZgE/видео.html how to catch up in school (2021)-> ruclips.net/video/E2XY_7n0vQQ/видео.html how I never turn assignments in late (2021)-> ruclips.net/video/-KN5Be1W8XE/видео.html . the entire playlist of these videos-> ruclips.net/p/PLTz2XPywKVq5CXo2PaLYEanLgXuV-fjA1 . want some motivation? here is a playlist of my school vlogs! ruclips.net/p/PLTz2XPywKVq4dH2LuMArQ71DrLT2B7NmP
M x l a n i e. “don’t be! If you know the answer raise your hand so if you don’t know the answer the teacher will less likely to Pick on you” And the teachers like when you ask them questions btw get to know them they exist To help you learn
Well put your mine too and try to get the right answer if you get it wrong 9/10 the teacher will tell you the correct answer that is points for you and you get to know the answer for the next time somebody ask!🩰🐾🤍
I'm actually not failing or whatever (no hate) I used to have high grades but lately I've been very lazy and disappointing like I don't even know why:(
This is just superb, I have been researching "average homework time for middle school" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Yeetta Gradeify Scores - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got cool success with it.
I know this is a fairly old video but I’ll just put this comment out there in case it helps someone. As a 4.0 student myself, here is my take on all of these tips: 1. Be nice to teachers: YES! ABSOLUTELY! This is probably the most important one on here. Even if you don’t actually like the teacher, it’s important to at least pretend you like them and are interested in their lives. Ask them questions about themselves (don’t go too over the top tho), and pretend to be interested. I once had a teacher that everyone in my class unanimously hated. I was one of the only kids who were kind, respectful and showed an interest in the teacher’s life and I ended up with the highest grade in the class without too much effort. 2. Ask questions: Again, very accurate. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something. I’m a fairly shy person but I’ve realized that, in the long run, it’s much more beneficial if you just put yourself out there. This also ties into the first one. If you ask a lot of questions, it shows your teachers that you care and that generally tends to make them like you more. 3. Go to study groups: This one, at least in my experience, is not as effective. Study groups can be a helpful resource for understanding material, but if you already generally understand the material it’s not really necessary. Maybe it’s my personality, but I find solo study time to be far more productive than study groups. 4. Plan: This one really depends on personality. Do what is effective for you in this case. When I plan too much ahead it tends to just stress me out, but I know that for some people planning is very important. Whatever the case, make sure you have some system in place to be able to remember tomorrow’s homework or that upcoming test. That could be simply writing it in a notebook, setting a reminder on your phone, or if you have a really great memory, just not forgetting (this one is more risky though so unless you’re absolutely CERTAIN you will remember I suggest writing it somewhere). One thing that works for me (though this may be irresponsible idk) is asking my class group chat when I get home from school. 5. Don’t procrastinate: Ok, I’m going to say something controversial here. I am a HUGE procrastinator. I do my projects and homework last minute. I tend to work much better under stress, but I know that isn’t the case for everyone. My procrastination is, in a way, intentional because when I procrastinate I tend to get my work done quicker and better than if I were to do it the second I receive it. This stems from my crazy perfectionism. I know that if I allow myself to have enough time, I will take hours on checking and rechecking everything to make sure it’s absolutely perfect. For me, this is a waste of time. For a 4.0, not everything has to be perfect, it just has to be good enough to get an A. If this is not your mindset, however, I strongly advise against procrastination. If it doesn’t help you, it can only hurt you. Moral of the story, figure out through trial and error which strategies work best for you. 6. Be the best you you can be: Yes! Do the best you can reasonably do. BUT don’t work so hard that it results in burnout or strains on your relationships. Learn from my experience- overworking yourself can never go well. One thing that I always try to remember is “work smart not hard”. Put in effort, but if there are legitimate, beneficial ways you can cut back on this effort don’t hesitate. This is not me telling you to cheat, don’t get me wrong. What I’m saying is that if you find a way to exploit the system without it being against the rules, go for it! Effort is VERY important but brute forcing your way to a 4.0 is not worth the time. Getting good grades is more about strategy than smarts. 7. Time management: All I can say is that it’s important to manage your time well. This is not just in regards to assignments but to your personal life as well. Don’t live for grades. Make sure to make time for friends, family and ESPECIALLY extracurriculars (these are extremely important when applying to colleges). Have the wisdom to determine how and when you should do your assignments. Like I said, one method won’t work for everyone, so figure out what works for you in regards to time management. 8. Pay attention in class: What can I say? This is extremely important. Paying attention in class will significantly reduce the amount of effort you have to put forth outside of class. Since you’re going to be stuck in the same class with nothing to do for the next 30-45 minutes, why not learn something while you’re there? You will have more time to talk to friends and goof off in the long run, because you won’t have to reread your textbook 50 times while you’re at home. 9. When you’re absent, reach out to your teachers: Well first, try not to be absent very much. Make-up work is very time consuming when you have to teach yourself all of the topics. But yes, if you reach out to your teachers before a planned absence, you might even be able to get a head start on all of that work. 10. Take good notes and use them: Notes are very important! Here’s some tips that work for me when I’m taking notes. -Don’t take notes on a tablet or laptop: you won’t remember them as well as if you had hand written them. -Ask yourself questions before and after the lesson: some good questions to ask include, “what is this lesson about?” “Why is...?” “How is this applicable?” and “How does this fit into the overall class subject?” 11. Do extra credit: All I can say is YES. Always do this and corrections if your teacher lets you. Don’t treat these as optional-treat them as obligatory. Extra credit can easily be the difference between an A and a B. 12. Ask for help: This one is basically the same as ask questions, but yes, if you don’t understand something don’t be afraid to ask your teacher. 13. Do the homework: If you’re aiming for a 4.0 you really can’t skip homework. Homework is a small but vital part of getting good grades. 14. Study: Make sure you know all of the information before the test. If you don’t know the stuff, you’re not going to do well. Period. 15. Learn from your mistakes: This is one of the best ways to learn. Everyone makes mistakes, don’t stress about it. I think I may have missed some but oh well. This was just my take on some of the points in this video. Happy studying people, I wish you all the best
my tips: now this is coming from someone who is considered “naturally smart” so if you struggle a little bit more, you will need to work harder, like very hard, like if you want As they will need to be your top priority. - pay attention in class - do all your homework and don’t copy answers, what i like to do is find a cheat sheet (or use a calculator for math hw) and do the homework and then check it over with the cheat sheet so i can understand what i missed and still get the answers right (for math i use the calculator and if the answer is not the same i will redo my work for the question to figure out what i did wrong) - take notes 👏🏼 and then redo them to memorize them and that’s all i can think of rn
I’m in a bit of an (extreme) time crunch right now and I used to do what you do for maths.. but now I can’t, since time is limited and trying to figure out a maths question can take a while. I feel like I can’t study anything properly with the time constraint 🥺🥺 and the exam questions are going to be two to three times harder this semester since it’s an online exam. I don’t know what to do anymore, I feel like crying.
f u r r e t Aw I hate that 😭 I fortunately have lots of time rn as a high school student during corona, but I’m scared as well for university or even next year as a senior that my time will be more limited. I’m so slow at doing stuff and time will be the biggest struggle ahead
I have always been known as the " naturally gifted " student as well but since highschool my results need improvement since I moved to a new school which has a completely different system and I lived my whole lufe with the previous one. I do all those things but have poor time management and answer structuring I get 5/5 every subject for class participation so I'm not sure what I am doing wrong
So she basically says “don’t be an introvert”, “don’t be depressed or anxious” and “learn out of mistakes”. Well... at least I can learn out of mistakes
I have severe medically diagnosed anxiety with a 4.0 so here's some advice! be nice to yourself! give yourself time and have someone who you know will keep you on task and FaceTime them while doing your work. it helps so much in the long run. people with all the things you mentioned are so capable of getting amazing grades, you just have to work harder
LLeah28, some of my teachers don’t like if we email them and often don’t answer soon enough 😐 But i am thankful for your idea and hope you could help someone with your comment 🙂
Faraway - dopamine is a neurotransmitter that works based on a “reward system”. This basically means that when you perform certain activities your brains is rewarded in the form of the release of a certain neutransmitter. In this case, the reward is dopamine. When we use technology, our brains receive a dose of dopamine. When we receive to much dopamine, we enter a state of overstimulation which leads to drops on our focus. Reduce your screen time and in about 8 days, when your brain reajusts, your focus should be much better.
Y'all, I get f's in every class most of the time. Im failing French but its fine cause I can take it again in highschool (im in 7th grade). I also have an extremely low grade in history because I have no motivation to do anything.
Lately I've been trying to overcome my fear of sounding stupid and I ask even the most stupid-sounding questions if I don't understand something because 1. Do you really think you are the only one that stays silent because they are afraid??? No girl 2. Even if you were, who cares? You are getting a better grade for asking that question so if someone judges you...who cares? You are the smartass one baby!!!! I repeat those things to myself a lot and sometimes I just have to fake confidence but fake it till you make it!
I'm sorta doing the same but not rly. I prepared for school it's just that this year I don't wanna slack or get distracted last year I had all B's imma try to higher it a little. I'm gonna do so good in school this year I can feel it
I was too at first, so I’d always ask after the fact (I’d write all my questions down on the side and ask after class or when it was work time). Now, I’ve worked past it and am not as afraid:)) it takes time and eventually you’ll become better at it!! you got this :)
I know it’s summer rn but you could always ask a classmate to ask the question for you, so like if your school has two classes per grade and you have the earlier class then ask one of your friends in the later class to ask them for you. It’s what I always did
Sorry if this is a late comment! I was also scared to ask questions because I thought that my classmates were thinking that I was dumb. I realized that I don't have to be scared because THATS WHAT TEACHERS ARE FOR! Teachers are suppose to help you with school and help w/ ur academics. Teachers are thinking when you ask a question, they think that you are serious about your school and that your working hard. I hope this helps girlie 🤍
It's been over a month already, high school isn't as bad for me as I came from a strict k-8 school. The only thing I'm struggling on is math and Chinese. I'm not surprised, I've always been weak on those subjects :// ;-;
i used to be a great, engaged, student who loved learning. this year, starting high school, my adhd caught up to me and i'm almost failing all my classes. i know once i get help and meds for that i will get a's again.
Hope the message work I have friends who have adhd and even though during class they are VERY distracted on tests they try really hard and end up passing! I bet you can too!!!
*Coming from a person that has straight A’s* : Taking a break or even working for 30 mins and taking a break helps SOOOO much. It lets you have fun in the midst of working which surprisingly makes you more productive. Seriously take whatever break YOU need to know you will come back and be clear minded enough to put forth your best effort again EX: -my friend takes a nap after working for 3 hours and another friend of mine plays video games after working for an hour
My grades (I only have 4 classes because of online school rn, and then I switch next semester) A B C B I want to cry, I'm so stupid. I need all A's or else I'm not going anywhere ughh
@@sai-ct2jh mood- i dont know how this happened but my grades recently have been so bad, i just got a c on a quiz, a b on a test, and another b on an assignment. I dont know how this happened ;_;
mind!! set!! yes!! i keep trying to tell my friends that they have to try really hard to interrupt their thoughts when they start thinking they're "too dumb" to do something just cause it's hard. if you keep telling yourself you can't do something then you will only see all the reasons that you can't do it, rather than letting your usually creative and brilliant brain find ways around the obstacles. i work at a school and we have posters everywhere about what to replace certain negative thoughts with and one of them is to go from "i'm stupid." to "what am i missing?" the time i spent at therapy was heavy with doing thought-replacement. it's so much work, but so worth it.
Me at 11 who is trying to plan my entire life so I can be sucessful which is all secretly based on my need and desire to please my parents so I can feel good about myself and/or fell like I’m not useless or a disappointment
You don't have to be a doctor to be successful, money is money if you get money from working on anything even if it's bad it's ok, you can be successful in many ways, studying only brings work and work brings money, you can work without studying and you will still be successful.
@@cottagesheep5001 sameee!!!!! Im 11 and going to 6th grade next year! I don't think I've pleased my parents enough since I failed in math and didn't get into the math program but currently going to 6th grade but learing 7th grade math, science, social studies,LA, and a art/writing program. I failed math this year and I'm such a failure. But you can do it better!!!
honestly i just do my thing. i don’t know how the he’ll it works, but i just do whatever. i don’t want to do an assignment? i’ll start in one hour before it’s due and power through it. honestly i stopped caring and it’s hard for me to focus. but it works out so i just stick to it.
I didn’t like my math teacher in fifth grade but then in six I realized that now I’m good at math because of her so here I am going to the 7th and I’m very grateful that my teacher prepared me for what I have next
1. Have a good relationship with your teachers 2. Ask questions 3. Go to study groups 4. PLAN, use a planner or a calendar 5. do NOT procrastinate 6. Plan ahead for bigger projects and get the smaller ones done as soon as possible 7. Turn things in early 8. Always put your 110% into everything you do 9. Time management!! 10. PAY ATTENTIONN saves sm time 11. Reach out to teachers when you're absent to ask about missed work, notes etc. (builds relationship too) 12. Take good notes and use them (in assignments, while studying) 13. Do all of the extra credit 14. Ask for help 15. DO your homework, and use your resources while doing it 16. Redo assignments until you're happy with your grade 17. Study (lmao) and use all the materials (questions) that the teacher gives you 18. If you aren't happy with your grades then reflect on your errors (study methods, etc) 19. Take time for yourself, one bad grade isn't the end of the world 20. STAY POSITIVE (I'm always looking for someone who made a summary in these types of videos so here :D)
Nah, i always made the "let's pass all the exercises results" group and It's way better. I remember having a girl which made everything when I had to study fisics and I did all her homework when she had to study English
Good tips that might help you: There are many types of people who study= 1) Read aloud and study person 2) Visual learner 3) Read aloud and write learner 4) Mind reader 5) Write and memorize learner.. (Find which type of person you are... Another thing is take class tests serious just like exams.. study soo hard for a class test and get nice grades... after that you can forget it... at the time of exam, just make one day as a SUPER REVISION DAY... thats when you revise all the topics.. since you have already learnt it, your memory will pick it up soon..and also remind your brain that all that you have revised should stay in your head lol... another important thing is take a LOT OF NOTES.. notes help a lot when it comes to revision.. also dont be over confident.. set an aim for your grades.. if you get lesser that that then you can avoid entertainment for a week or something like that.. Next thing is that AVOID GAMES on week days.. games are a big distraction when it comes to studying.. so avoid game plays on weekdays and play games on weekends! Another tip is that learn every nooks and corners of your text book... and only use your notes as a revision prop.. and also DONT get question banks.. it will make your brain LAZY to find questions by its own and also makes you depend on question banks for your exams.. so kindly make your own question bank with your own questions.. LAST TIP is to take a lot of mock tests at home.. Hope this helps you!
i love that you said that anyone can be successful, no matter where they're from or who they are. also onto the teacher thing, find a balance of talking and being silent like participate, but only in conversations with teachers
i get mostly a’s in all my classes but i really need to work i’m getting better grades in algebra, english, and sometimes bio. my grades range from b- to a+. i’m a junior so i’m going to use these tips this year
1. Good attitude in school + put in the effort, not a teacher's pet tho 2. ask questions + don't be afraid to 3. partake in activities and get involved 4. go organise a study group 5. plan plan plan plan! remember your assignments and stay on track research what works for you 6. don't procrastinate! remember you need to put your best effort in 7. turn things in early 8. give yourself time yo get things done. 9. stress is good? 10. be the best you can be - put in 110% or the maximum effort you can 11. when your absent reach out to the teachers so you keep good communication 12. Take notes videos (I find Fun Revision, Mariana's Study Corner, Studyquill, and Jem's ready to follow 13. do the extensions / extra credit 14. ask for help 15. use whatever materials you have 16. use your grades to reflect on what you need to do better.
I don't think the first one is good, education these days only looks for people that took "good education" good attitude doesn't get you anything in school, don't be fake if you don't like anything then just keep don't liking it, it won't make your grades go up by any chance. A study group is bad, instead of one I would recommend to do a "let's pass the results group" education system doesn't look for a sincere bad grade, they prefer a cheating good grade.
All the teachers are good if we compare them there might be teachers we may dislike and it leads to not listen what they’re saying :) All teachers are nice 👍
@@Sophonyt no, there are some teachers that are bad, for example, I'm failing because of my math teacher because he doesn't explain ANYTHING he just gets people to resolve exercises while he just sits and watches videos on his phone. He doesn't even correct those people
I did this and i got a A on my biologi test cuz i played in my voicie singing alla the things that was imporant and i had wroten in my mote book i played it all the time remembering the lyric! And o did it lol BUT I STUDYID TO AND READ STUFF LIUD TO REMEMBER IT EASIER
This is some tips which helped me go from a 1.3 student to a 4.0 in only 3 months. 3 months ago I was very reckless,I proctastined alot and I barely attended classes. I wouldn't do my work and I would never write notes which caused me to perform very badly. At the start of the new year I made it my goal to become a straight A student and I set goals out. Here are some of them: 1.pay attention in class.take notes 2. study ATLEAST two hours a day . If you procrastinate alot try playing lofi music while doing your work because it helps you focus and blocks out background noise. 3. Try staying out of trouble in school so don't do anything bad like coming school with inappropriate clothing, get into fights or disrespect your teachers. 4.if you have trouble understanding notes, try writing down the main points instead. 5. No matter what you get never give up! The best time to study is today!!!
The only useful video so far. Realistic and effective. I should know as I’m a top student. The other videos are centered on being aesthetic but this video by this lovely lady actually teaches dying how to get that 100.
First video I’ve seen like this that is actually helpful and ACTUALLY GIVES YOU TIPS most of them are just like ...be organised okay on to the next tip. Thanks you so much. You seem like a really nice and bubbly person with more talent than most of the popular youtubers.keep working on your channel and I know you can hit it big.subscribing for sure.xxx
Gonna be a senior this year and got a card from a private university..my grandma threw it away without me even seeing it because she said my grades werent good enough and its too expensive now im determined to get a higher gpa this year to prove her ass wrong 😂
4.0 student at a rigorous military institute, here is my advice. WORK. Set times for yourself. Don't allow yourself any free-time until you have finished. Don't be afraid to lose sleep!
Here are 26 of my useful tips! | have a nicer attitude | ask questions, be confident even if the answer is wrong | plan your life out, i'm planning to go to Harvard University | take notes on everything you do | do your homework daily, i recommend after sunset | pay attention to class | turn your camera on to stop you from procrastinating | do not procrastinate | put other devices out of your reach | spend half of your break/recess rereading your notes | play a game if you feel stressed out (animal crossing) | work neatly | put some calm lofi music on | turn on a diffuser or light a candle | wake up very early (have at least 6 hours of sleep) | have a silent atmosphere around you | have a warm atmosphere around you | research and find out more on the topic you are working on | make a list of all the homeworks you have (even past due) | clean your room | get all your stress out, do some yoga | wet your hair to make you calmer when doing school | wear comfy clothes | have a drink with you, I recommend matcha | have plants in your room | open the curtains, let the sun in Do not wait until you are at a certain or specific age, the earlier, the better. There you go!! ill write some more soon! (the other tips will be edited into this comment if I think of some more)
Procrastination usually stems from anxiety, so try not to blame yourself more if you procrastinate because it won’t help. What I’ve done is organize my work into days of when I will get it done so I don’t overwork myself or have too much to do right before it’s due
Hi! It’s 2020 but. I’m going to get my CRAP together with school. I’m going to give updates every month and see if this vid helps me! I’ll start at the end of this month.
7:37 its not about thinking I'm good at getting it done, (for me)its about lacking motivation so I end up sitting with all my work and just avoiding thinking about it. Procrastination is about avoiding a feeling or emotion associated with whatever it is that you need done. for example, If you have math but you are always confused and frustrated about it, then you will avoid doing it because your brain is avoiding that stress and anxiety that it associates the task with.
I can read a realy long book anytime anywhere but when it comes to school books and studying well- I completed 1 page in 1 hour procrastination station 🥲
I used to be considered a slacker type in my community college days.. Fast forward to today I've actually gotten my act together and can successfully say I have made the Dean's list in my University! As a person who went from a 1.8 gpa to a 3.8, I can absolutely attest to almost every tip in your video. Getting to know your profs, Reviewing notes/actually reading, Completing the work early then asking the prof to review, Connecting with high achieving classmates (even if you don't get along), And actually attending office hours to openly talk about certain areas you're struggling... these are all things that have contributed to my high standing gpa and better attitude about school. ^This girl knows whats up^! none of that "be organized and drink fluids" crap advice I been seein. Best of luck to whoever is feeling unmotivated during these trying times. We got this guys!!~
Haha I know the feeling! With online school I fell behind because of my knee surgery and getting caught up was terrible! Some ways I kept my sanity was listening to music, rewarding myself with something fun after I worked hard for a while (this also helped to not burn me out), also make sure you do take breaks to reclaim energy! Just know it will get done, you will catch up and it will feel amazing being caught up!
For those who this doesn’t work for because you struggle with focusing and sitting down to do the work, talk to your doctor I was recently diagnosed with ADD at the age of 23... the end of my college career and this last semester has been so much easier now knowing what I’m dealing with.
I'm only 14 yrs old and I really want to do well in school and achieve my dreams so I'm going to try and not let anyone or anything distract me because I value education soo much and a lot of people don't really care but I care a lot about school but all I have to say to yall that are struggling is: "Keep going you've still got dreams to chase not people to impress and always believe in yourself because you can do anything you put your mind to"
Im scared to raise my hand to ask a question i dont understand cause i feel like the teacher already explained it and im the only one who didnt understand what she said 🙄🤚
another important part of becoming a straight A student is knowing what way you take in information best. some people take information in by writing, some by reading, some by hearing/audio, and some by seeing it in real life or visually, etc. or if you don't think you can study better with those, it might be because that topic is hard to explain in the way you understand it most, like for example learning a new language if you're someone who understands best when someone gives you a visual representation. if, still, none of these ways of studying/learning suit you or help you, i recommend finding other ways for yourself like telling someone (or a stuffed animal or object if no one's willing to listen) what you think the topic is about and/or what you learned. it feels like you made an accomplishment and so it's more memorable.
Another tip that I used to do is just searching documentaries or videos for it, in math I search videos explaining the topics because my teacher is shit, in fisics I just get memorise by writing I don't give a fuck if I don't understand it, i just learn it if they tell me to explain it then I will just learn a definition for it, History sucks so I just study Reading it and making a story line about it. In Spanish I write essays which I keep for myself about how the teacher is an old karen. I don't study English because I just get everything when I see it at first and because it's also my favorite subject. I selfstudy subjects like foreign languages because I'm interested, in each month I try to learn the basics of any one, for example, I am learning hangul since I want to understand what my favorite group says in their songs (it's not BTS neither blackpink). In biology i just watch the same old documentaries. I only study for each subject 5-10 minutes.
next month i am beggining getting grades and im so scared and stressed beacuse of it but this really helped me and calmed me. The problem is i have social anxiety (diagnosed) and i cant raise my hand and ask questiens that easily.
I am here I’m this video because my parents promised me that they will get me something that I have wanted for years if I get good grades for science this year. Last year my grade was BAD....so this year my motivation is the thing that I have wanted for YEARS! I finished all my school work but when it comes to tests.....that’s where my problem start. Any tips?
Just finished the video, took the notes and it already motivated me so much! Thank you so much I'm so thankful I knew this before college!! I'm still at middle school and I'm super happy I learnt all of your advices!!
I really want to make my parents proud I wanna get at least 1st or 3rd or 4th or 5th honor students but I need to get like above 95% in ALL GRADES so imma really study hard thank u for tips❤️
hello everyone! thank you so much for watching this video and all the love I have received on it! I made this video a while ago and lots of questions you may have, I have made new videos about! I also don’t 100% like the way I worded everything in this video - I was young and didn’t speak the most eloquently. here are a bunch of other videos from me that are all regarding school and are more recent (that I like more)! :)

I know this is a fairly old video but I’ll just put this comment out there in case it helps someone.
As a 4.0 student myself, here is my take on all of these tips:
-Ask yourself questions before and after the lesson: some good questions to ask include, “what is this lesson about?” “Why is...?” “How is this applicable?” and “How does this fit into the overall class subject?”
I love you so much, thank you
Can I ask oma question? What does 4.0 mean?
@@milkyfruit6716 its your grade point average meaning that you mostly if not only make A's
thank you, but myproblem is, im too scared to ask too many questions. people find it annoying, and i feel like it makes me look dumb..
wow thank you love
my tips:
now this is coming from someone who is considered “naturally smart” so if you struggle a little bit more, you will need to work harder, like very hard, like if you want As they will need to be your top priority.
- pay attention in class
- do all your homework and don’t copy answers, what i like to do is find a cheat sheet (or use a calculator for math hw) and do the homework and then check it over with the cheat sheet so i can understand what i missed and still get the answers right (for math i use the calculator and if the answer is not the same i will redo my work for the question to figure out what i did wrong)
- take notes 👏🏼 and then redo them to memorize them
and that’s all i can think of rn
I do all these and those help alot. I advise everyone to follow those. And good luck everyone with your school. Hope you succeed and reach your goal💓
Heyyy... I also use the cheat sheet to CHECK my answers!!
@@leajames6601 thankss for the advice.. omg i love u

There’s actually a scientific explanation for drops in our focus because of online school
Faraway - yes, but that’s not quite what I was referring to. I was thinking about a neurotransmitter called dopamine.

Teachers are suppose to help you with school and help w/ ur academics. mind!! set!! yes!! i keep trying to tell my friends that they have to try really hard to interrupt their thoughts when they start thinking they're "too dumb" to do something just cause it's hard. if you keep telling yourself you can't do something then you will only see all the reasons that you can't do it, rather than letting your usually creative and brilliant brain find ways around the obstacles. i work at a school and we have posters everywhere about what to replace certain negative thoughts with and one of them is to go from "i'm stupid." to "what am i missing?" the time i spent at therapy was heavy with doing thought-replacement. it's so much work, but so worth it.

1. Have a good relationship with your teachers
2. Ask questions
3. Go to study groups
4. PLAN, use a planner or a calendar
5. do NOT procrastinate
6. Plan ahead for bigger projects and get the smaller ones done as soon as possible
7. Turn things in early
8. Always put your 110% into everything you do
9. Time management!!
10. PAY ATTENTIONN saves sm time
11. Reach out to teachers when you're absent to ask about missed work, notes etc. (builds relationship too)
12. Take good notes and use them (in assignments, while studying)
13. Do all of the extra credit
14. Ask for help
15. DO your homework, and use your resources while doing it
16. Redo assignments until you're happy with your grade
17. Study (lmao) and use all the materials (questions) that the teacher gives you
18. If you aren't happy with your grades then reflect on your errors (study methods, etc)
19. Take time for yourself, one bad grade isn't the end of the world
20. STAY POSITIVE

Good tips that might help you: There are many types of people who study= 1) Read aloud and study person
2) Visual learner 3) Read aloud and write learner 4) Mind reader 5) Write and memorize learner..
Omg ur so pretty and so confident THE POSITIVELY ✨
I LOVE YOUR PFP HAHAHDNCKCIENDO

also onto the teacher thing, find a balance of talking and being silent like participate, but only in conversations with teachers
i get mostly a’s in all my classes but i really need to work i’m getting better grades in algebra, english, and sometimes bio. my grades range from b- to a+. i’m a junior so i’m going to use these tips this year
1. Good attitude in school + put in the effort, not a teacher's pet tho
2. ask questions + don't be afraid to
3. partake in activities and get involved
4. go organise a study group
5. plan plan plan plan! remember your assignments and stay on track research what works for you
6. don't procrastinate! remember you need to put your best effort in
7. turn things in early
8. give yourself time yo get things done.
9. stress is good?
10. be the best you can be - put in 110% or the maximum effort you can
11. when your absent reach out to the teachers so you keep good communication
12. Take notes videos (I find Fun Revision, Mariana's Study Corner, Studyquill, and Jem's ready to follow
13. do the extensions / extra credit
14. ask for help
15. use whatever materials you have
16. use your grades to reflect on what you need to do better.
I don't think the first one is good, education these days only looks for people that took "good education" good attitude doesn't get you anything in school, don't be fake if you don't like anything then just keep don't liking it, it won't make your grades go up by any chance. A study group is bad, instead of one I would recommend to do a "let's pass the results group" education system doesn't look for a sincere bad grade, they prefer a cheating good grade.
honestly i feel like the only way you can get good grades is if you have good teachers. like you have to hit jackpot in the teacher lottery ngl.
All the teachers are good if we compare them there might be teachers we may dislike and it leads to not listen what they’re saying :) All teachers are nice 👍

Here are some of them:
1.pay attention in class.take notes
2. study ATLEAST two hours a day .
5. No matter what you get never give up!

| wet your hair to make you calmer when doing school
| wear comfy clothes
| have a drink with you, I recommend matcha

| open the curtains, let the sun in

@@missgurl5945 awhh! no problem honey! lol

Imagine having a good relationship with all your teachers I cant relate I'm scared of my science teacher
“Don’t procrastinate”

I can read a realy long book anytime anywhere but when it comes to school books and studying well- I completed 1 page in 1 hour procrastination station 🥲
Why is this me
I love the way you edit your videos!!! That's so aesthtic omggg 🥰🥰 you're so pretty 😍😍
aww thank you!!
Thank you so much!
this is great !! i wish i saw this back in september lol
It is september
Lol
Zaara look at when this was posted...
I moved up to Honor classes about a month ago and have mostly B’s and one A so I need this A LOT!
How do you catch up when you're behind without feeling overwhelmed and not giving up ?? I am going insane trying to catch up!
Imma comment back again when my grades are back to how they were
?
Ascend Wel they are gonna edit to see how much their grades have improved. i think it's a great idea! :)
Ascend Wel oh hi 👋 I mean I’m going to edit this comment when my grades are all A’s again!!

Thank you so much for this I’m getting great grades now ❤️
This is actually made me more confident thank u
Ok, but why does this have so little clout? like its so helpfulll

Well most teachers want you to sussed but I've had that have just been the opposite lol
everyone has a bad day like today for me. Recently I have been getting grades lower than my expectation so I’m hoping tm will be better :)
Your so underated🤩
Thank you!

Any tips?
everything is and A or a B but when it comes to math I literally have an F
Just finished the video, took the notes and it already motivated me so much! Thank you so much I'm so thankful I knew this before college!! I'm still at middle school and I'm super happy I learnt all of your advices!!
thank you so much girly, these really helped💗
Ngl my introverted self really gets in the way when it's time to be active in class
"Don't be introvert" "Don't be depressed or anxious"
That was like telling a homeless person to buy a house
right does she understand that having anxiety like i do is not something you can fix so easily 🥲
Being an introvert is not something that makes you study bad neither being anxious.
I really want to make my parents proud I wanna get at least 1st or 3rd or 4th or 5th honor students but I need to get like above 95% in ALL GRADES so imma really study hard thank u for tips❤️
Why r u so underrated?!?!?!!?
