This medicine is very strong. It did not harm any shrimp or fish. However, killed almost everything else. From snail to water flea. You might think that is good thing. However, those are good clean crew for my tank. Suddenly breaking the balance may lead to algae issue. I can maintain much higher PAR value for my planted tank with water flea on helping clean up green spot algae. After apply this, I have to reduce the strength of the light to avoid the issue. Also, I tried to re-introduce snails back to the tank after three weeks of 40% water change. Snails still cannot stand. From this stand point, I will no longer use this produce in my planted display tank. It is more suitable for a quarantine tank. On a side note, this medicine does not remove flatworms with round head (not classified as Planaria, which is another drawback for me).
Do you think it would effect bettas? I have hydra in my betta tank and bought this to kill it but didn’t even think about whether it would effect my betta

I bought Benibachi Planaria Zero from Amazon to get rid of my hundreds of pest Ramshorn snails and eggs and it worked, I had to treat it for 7 days to get rid of the pest snails. The Betel nut powder does not harm shrimp, fish, plants, or the good bacteria. Benibachi Planaria Zero Ingredients: Betel nut powder.
Great video as always brother. I'm curious as to how many gallons do you think a single package would treat? I have 18 tanks and most of them are used for breeding. I over feed because I'm breeding and know that's why I have planaria but I recently mistook a planaria for a 24kt Gold White Cloud so I figured it's time to do something. That was a big ass planaria...lol. Thanks for sharing.
while this is true, it's virtually impossible to find it at any local specialty fish store. online is kind of a whole nother Beast. even then, there's not many online retailers in the US that have them

No, the source you got the plants from had snails in the tank, that’s why you got it! I have moss balls and have no issues!

This is amazing stuff. I used for HYDRAS, wiped them out clean in 2 days. 100% recommend. Shrimp still alive... Phew

@@alexandraamirov1545 I had a betta when I used it. It was not affected at all.
tip. use a worm trap first 2 or 3 times then treat with product. that way you reduce the size of the any ammonia spike from the dead planaria.
how do i make a planaria trap?

It didn't work on detritus worms, or tiny planaria babies. It only killed big planaria.
Johnny English not true. i had detritus worm outbreak and i dose No-planaria while my filter is off and 2 days later no more worms found

I'm wondering since this product kills snails...i wonder if you can do a heavy dosing to quarantine plants before putting them into the aquarium
Alum dip is good for killing snails and eggs on new plants
In the US you can get it at Green Leaf Aquariums.

What size the spoon?
Brilliant, do you need to remove Bio Media from your filter please?
I contacted the sellers and they said the only thing to removed is carbon filtors.
