Is it guppy safe I have a big planaria problem and I have shrimp and guppy’s in the tank but the traps don’t work they just come back and scared to use since no want to lose my high end strains
It is purely harmful to planaria and snails only along with hydra and other pests. Not at all to fish and shrimp, even they claim fish safe so you will be fine 👍🏽
I am scared about my favorite ramhorns. I feel like I have to move them, but idk if that will carry hydra back after the treatment and I'll be right back where I started.
I totally understand your fear, i had the same too. So technically most of my ramshorn snails survived, some went into survival mode for a bit but they came out healthy eventually. Instead of separating them into the same tank water you could try gathering some water in a small pitcher and let that water mature for a few days. After that you can put your separated ramshorns in that so that they don’t carry back anything. Plus, once you’ve dosed no planaria the hydra shouldn’t be able to regenerate again for a bit, I dosed a little bit again once i saw signs and nothing since then. Hope it makes sense and helped in some way! 🙏🏽
I did No-Planaria on my 20 gallon long with just neocaradina shrimp and ramshorn snails to treat the planaria and it worked amazingly no snail or shrimp death
Not really. So the given dosage is recommended for Planaria but my Hydra seemed to be hardy. Also, i watched a lot of people using Fenbendazole/Dog dewormers for hydra which is a lot stronger. I added the last dose only because the hydra weren’t totally gone by the 4th day or so. (I believe my measurements were less than the recommended dose) I figured out my baby shrimp were already stressed due to hydra + no planaria after, ending with a 40-50% water change which might have topped off the stress in their delicate growing stage. My Chili Rasbora on the other hand might have swallowed too much undissolved no planaria powder. Hope this helped. Thanks for watching!

Did you think you dose too much?
