I have the Craftsman push mower, I would not recommend. It's all plastic, mine split around the motor the third time I used it.

@@ammogiant824 Perhaps you're too young to remember when Craftsman was a quality product and Sears had a "replace forever" warranty on hand tools (I believe only for Craftsman branded ones sold *by Sears*)
@disorganizedorg I I'm old enough to remember that for sure. Now you can just look at craftsman outdoor tools and tell that they are made very poorly. Example pressure washers lawn mowers.
Don’t buy a craftsman riding mower, plastic rear end gears.
I wouldn’t recommend buying anything craftsman, possibly some of the brushless tools if you have batteries. Husky, Dewalt, Ego and Milwaukee will serve one much better. Even Ridgid
My old 1000 series tool chest was junk and the hand tools are trash

I remember when BOGO meant "...get [an item] of the same or comparable value" -- Lowes seems to think that if you buy a $500 "BOGO" item it's not false advertising to give you the choice between a cup of coffee and a candy bar as your "one free" item.

Just got a Ego 16inch string trimmer and used it this morning. Very impressed, so easy to use with plenty of power. It’s still on sale ( $229) on Amazon for a hundred dollars off. Comes with 4amp battery and charger.

Your right ordering on-line is a lot easier, but I like to look at the products, especially the quality. Also I invariably buy other things I didn't even know I needed. Thanks for the tour, will be checking out the mowers.

We have Lowes and Home Depot in Minnesota but shop at a family-owned regional store called Menards.
Also some of the skil pwrcore 40 kits are on sale for $119, blower, string trimmer and I think the 14" chainsaw is $149

Check out cheap replacement carbs if you have perfectly good gas machines you can't get started. I put new carbs on a Poulan blower (2005), Craftsman push mower (2003) and Bolens push mower (also 2003). All are running great now.
I found a great deal on kobalt 227 socket set for $100 today at lowes. Regular price is $220. Glad I went to check out lowes today.

I think the Toro gas mowers shown in this ad could last you forever if you run the right gas in them. They would be about the equivalent in value/performance to the top-end Ego mower, not shown in this video, which is $1200 plus sales tax. That's "why would you" buy the Toro, Mr. Smug narrator.

Does seem a little salty. However, I've had a plastic mower for years with no issues. Obviously, you need to store it indoors. Safety might be issue if you mow over a metal chunk thin enough to pierce the shroud, but seems like an edge case
The problem with most if not all electric mowers is that if the blade hits anything other than grass, the blade strips and your mower isn't repairable, so it is now lawn art.
you want to stick with the 765CFM Ego kit. Its insane in turbo. comes with battery which is worth the price of the whole set. I love it use it for everything and got a cheap stubby nozzle for the car

No deals, at Black Friday DeWalt and Kobalt usually have buy one get one free, where you buy a miter saw, they give you the stand free

Those dewalt battery deals are a scam. Why is a flexvolt battery $300. Im going back to all my corded power tools when my batteries die.
The 60v flexvolt batteries have always been pricey, which is why the only time I acquire them is on BOGO deals or special buy of the day online
i worked at lowe’s and all the craftsman tools are not worth the money. even at the sale prices, they don’t last long and they’re the most returned outdoor power tools from all the available brands
I have a number of Craftsman V20 tools. But I don’t wish to get any outdoor power equipment with the exception of a handheld hedge trimmer.
I have a craftsman leaf blower and weed eater. both are crap.
For craftsman you need the RP series they are brushless, and you need over 400 CFM of blowing power. Their lower end models don't have enough CFM
All electric SUCKS! Gas rules and always will!
