refreshing to see a band describing themselves as metalcore and saying they love the genre, far too many bands try to distance themselves from it and move towards radio rock/metal

Well although he has a slightly different explanation behind the meaning of “black flame” I like to imagine sense, music is a form of art, that art can be perceived different ways from everyone. I like to think of black flame, as he said, as fire spreads, this song is so powerful it ignites an interest In everyone who hears it. I also find it as a unity, where he says “in death we’re all the same” meaning we’re all equal, we all have struggles, and that “black flame” is our eternal flame, we can keep it burning or wick it out

When artists (especially singers) realise that they are a voice for generations and can really relate to people on a deeper level, they are on the path to greatness.

I think they evolved a lot, maybe it was to try to find what they could do for the music to fully reflect them. But to me there was a kind of atmosphere on their song of their own, and we find it in black flame too. So, yes I think it's not a new band, it's just an evolution all bands have, and I really like how they did it, without losing their own musical touch.

Lol he said he can't sing. Has some of the best hard vocals I've ever heard. Singing is easy compared to screaming and growling continuously without damaging your throat
