Lovely stuff. Big fan of Aquanauts, I’ll be a hipster and claim I liked them before they were cool - always thought they were a bit underrated. Unfortunately they’ve now gone in completely the opposite direction and a steel 5167 costs more than 5205G. That’s an annual calendar, moon phase, precious metal, current production Patek - for less than a watch people used to mistake for a fake Nautilus. World’s gone mental.
Great piece, agree it looks superb. A bit too big of a budget for me, so a kind of same idea I have but more affordable is my 39mm Omega 165.014 from 1966 on black sailcloth Artem strap.
Patek's usually have the best resale value but their designs are just way too conservative for someone like me, so I'm an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore type of guy haha but keep up the good work m8. 😁👍

What made you purchased this 5065 at sub 28,000 and not hunt for a full set? Certainly 5065 looks great on your wrist than 5066 or 5060. Well done on the purchase, and thanks for the strap tips :)
You should try doing an ounce of research. Or watch the video that Tom made specifically for people who are unaware of this watch. “Videos on Countach’s are pointless cause I can’t order one from the dealership” lmao
@@robbymariani My research took me to Patek in London where I was told I had to buy a watch they wanted to sell me before I could buy a watch I wanted to buy. Strange business model. Look forward to Ford bringing the same thing out. You have to buy a slow-selling line before you qualify to buy a car you really want. However, the experience did open my eyes and the best way is to vote with your cash. So I did and bought a Vacheron Constantin.

Just over 7inches mate. The 5066 is pretty small but I think the 5065 would be brilliant.
