I have some really old Conte pencils that belonged to my aunt, don’t think they are available anymore, and I don’t care for any of the newer ones that are available. They just don’t make things like they used to. Also, I am surprised to hear people say they like the Conte pastel pencils. Those things are a nightmare to sharpen.
The right drawing pencils are as important to an artist as the right tools are to a mechanic. I'd say it was well worth the money then! Nice to watch you work and know a bit about your craft!
Thank you, Beth! Yes, the tools you use make a HUGE difference. You can make art with nearly anything, but the important thing to me is; it brings me happiness to use, also. Thank you for watching! I hope all is well over in the flat lands! Lol
Love and Hate these pencils. They have some hard particles inside that all of a sudden the nice smooth line will all of a sudden not draw at all but make a scratch in the paper without leaving much of a line at all. Very annoying.
true, but they are intended for longer strokes, bigger paper formats, and when you sketch more freely in loose manner that scratchy feeling is less noticeable
Awesome. I didn’t realize that after I posted... 🤣 This was when I got my new computer and used a new editing program so my levels were off. The sound is great on your videos, though! 👌🏽
Are there any drawing tutorials you would like to see?! Drawing eyes, noses, flowers, faces, hair?! Let me know!

Love your video. I went from your video right to buying these pencil’s. I think they are magic. Thank you very much. ❤
