And it did just as well if not better, just shows the quality of the original writing, that 2 versions can be this good. It would've been a crime not to remake this, with modern technology and filming techniques, they have really been able to take full advantage of the beauty of Cornwall.
I loved this version & the cast of characters. When it first came on there weren't many options of programs to watch. I didn't. R. Ellis never caught my eye. A. Turner got me from the get go. Loved it!! We need more seasons. There are books yet to do.
