  • It's been quite some time since Polaris updated the RZR XP platform and now they finally have. One they first came out, none of their competitors were anywhere close to competitive. Since then, Can-Am, Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki have all come out with N/A UTV's that not only compete, but surpass the RZR XP. Did they do enough with this update? Watch the video to find out and let us know in the comments!

Here in Nevada I’m going to love the 4 seater. Might be buying one this weekend.

I love the redesign, it was much needed.

I still think the 1st gen RZR XP 1000 is the best looking side by side ever made.

One thing in the trans is they did away with the reverse chain and made it gear and it’s gear lower for mountain terrain 😮

Here in Michigan we just don't have the room for the 4 door models at least I don't. The one that makes the most sense is the all season but in 2 door. But taking everything into consideration I think I would be best off with a general commander or rmax2. I'm leaning towards the rmax.

I like the looks. It needed an update. They’ve sold a ton of these xp’s and it will continue.

I like the new look, getting rid of the suicide doors was a good idea, my pro XP has suicide doors and when I'm towing it somewhere on the trailer I'm always looking in the mirrors to see if the doors have opened from the wind.
I wonder if the front diff is that upgraded one like they use on the turbo S and RS1?
disappointed, though that the ultimate does not have dynamic suspension.
my 2018 XP 1000 had the analog speedometer in the middle of the dash, looks like they went back to that.
All in all I like it.

I agree. Wouldn’t say I’m blown away by the new rig but it has some solid upgrades where the aging prior model needed them. I’m sure we’ll find out more in the next few days. The real question is, will this slow the growth of Kawasaki and Honda? While Polaris is still the leader, their competitors are certainly making up some ground. -Joe

I like the looks of it and it’s about time with the full doors. I think Polaris has a ways to go to get the fit and finish of a Can-am, I’ll be staying with my 21 Maverick X-RC.

I like it looks wise and interior biggest thing for me is the cab option, being narrower and full cab is idea for where I live, just a little curious how the durability will be.

I don't know I kind of like the looks of the new one. I didn't mind the looks of the old one other than the ugly tiny little suicide doors they had. However with all the issues Polaris has, the stop rides the recalls... and for the prices hell I would just buy a two-seater KRX if it was my money.

the price is what most people look at like canam has a x3 with 135 hp for 21,500 turbo built good and strong wheel bearnings last around 6500 miles rzr wheel bearnings might get 3500 miles i could go on but u get the idea i work on them i would stay with krx or canam

I don't think Polaris did anything great here. I'd still take the KRX over the RZR XP1K. Only complaint with KRX is fuel mileage. Kawi needs a bigger tank or figure out how to get better MPG.

Why do CannedHl Ham owners want to do a review on a RZR and bash it before they even put hands on it? Why, don't figure. Just do stuff on your Baby Recreational Products IE (BRP). Stick with what you know and don't know. So aggravating.
