I see that in Lufia Rise of the Sinistrals: Amon is called Sinistral of Chaos, and Daos is Sinistral of Terror. They exchanged their alias in this version.
Not a fantastic RPG, but I love the soundtrack, and the translation is actually pretty good for a 1993-era RPG. I actually have more nostalgia for this one than the sequel, since it's the one I played in my youth. Didn't pick up Rise of the Sinistrals until I was an adult. I think if the frustration factor of the game had been toned down (the way too random battles, difficulty of said battles), this could have been a great one. Still, the final half is dramatically effective, and I like the ending.
well im glad they didnt. i enjoyed the challenge these bosses can give on you if you don't over level yourself or play continue mode. but it wouldve been better had they added the faster walk option and made sweet water like breath of fire 1's mrbl 3
Ha! this is one of the greatest RPG'S great music, nostalgic feeling EPIC SCALE, great Story just an awesome game good magic, Summoning Dragon the only problem i have with Lufia 1 is that they build up your fear of the Sinistral's and find out they are pushovers except for Gades which technically they toned down his power significantly but still he can kill you quick if he keeps doing Destroy!!! and when all Sinistral's combine then they are strong. Amon and Daos SHOULD BE MUCH STRONGER!!! according to their Reputation so it doesen't add up Power Level Wise However even still Emotional Ending Now i KNOW WHY they didn't make LUFIA 3 (NOT counting the cheap game boy advance so called version) Lufia 3 on Super Nintendo or Game Cube Would have gone toe to toe with Final Fantasy Series!!! which i Love but in all honesty Final Fantasy kind of screwed the pooch a little in some games and Completely in the Latter games what kind of idiots ruined Final Fantasy i know not. Nobuo Uematsu should slap The Producer's in the face and scream some sense into them. They didn't make Lufia 3 Because of idiots and wishy washy fake fans like yourselves i'm still waiting for them to get their act together and make the Revered Lufia 3 Many REAL FANS of us are out there they would make instant BANK they pretty much grew a Mustard seed but were to impatient for it to grow and cut the tree down!!!!
1 year late but still, they did make a lufia 3, called Lufia 3: The legend returns for the game boy color and if you are refering to that one, then oops. (You are talking about ruins of lore right?)
I see what they did there the Red Haired main character they named Jeros that is the name Selan names Maxim's Son probably a great Grandpa to this kid with Maxim's Blood.
100 years later after 2 would be great great grandson usually humans last bout 50 years or so before they become useless an cant fight no more guy was well over that age an still was fighting years later with Artea

But it was 90 years so if he was Maxim’s son, he would be 90 years old above
