My favorite thing about Pam's videos (other than Sunshine, of course) is the fact that she always talks through the whole thing and never has unnecessary, annoying and loud music like some video makers do when they're crafting. Lol ❤❤
I want to thank you for all the art lessons. I was never an art student, but you have introduced me to Gelato, using old makeup for paint, and the black pencils that smudge.
Oh, Pam! You cracked me up! What a fun way to start a day! 😅😅😅😂😂😂❤❤❤ Blan, blan, blan…😅😅😅😂😂😂 “This paper and I had a long talk.” 🤗🤗🤗 Love your attitude! ❤️❤️❤️
I have bought lots of stencils lately because I didn't have any good ones. I am cleaning and organizing my craft room. 😫😫 I was going to donate lots of paper I don't really like and then I saw THIS!!! Out of that pile and back into my craft room they go!!! 🤪 Plus, I have saved a couple of my old make-up blenders that I could use! Thanks Pam....I think!! 😂 My husband thinks I'm a hoarder. I instantly correct him and tell him that I'm a collector! He just doesn't get it!! 😂🤣 Tfs! 😊💗
WOWZA! Glitter & gold on the same project?! You’re really getting “out there”! I’m not sure where “out there” is, but you’re definitely having fun with that giant makeup sponge thingie! I have some, bought because everyone said we needed them, but I wasn’t convinced… now however I’m gonna go find them!! Eager crafting with abandon! Thank you, Pam! Erica❤
Oh my this is fabulous! I am making a Zombie JJ and I need more grunge type papers for it! This is a perfect technique! Pam to the rescue again! ❤️🧟📕🇨🇦
This is amazing how you turned this ugly paper into beautiful paper!!!! I stopped at The Dollar Store and found them!!! Mine even came with a little container holder! Then i found a pack of 2 in heart shapes!!!!! Thank you Pam. I wanted to look for a little paint but you know how husbands are in stores. Lol!!!!!💜
Sometimes depending on what you put your paint on you can get a paint skin once it dries. Sometimes those are pretty cool too and you can cut them up and glue them on tags and such. Or even make tags with the skin. It’s just sometimes is a little thin. I love watching you and love that you can upscale most anything. I feel like I can paint and do a good job following your steps.
What a cool idea to transform ugly paper, of course. Have lots of those sponges that I don't like foe applying makeup, now I know how to use them. Thank you for sharing your ideas. You always make me laugh, love to hear your upbeat voice😊. Have a good weekend!!!❤❤❤
Hello, it's good to see and listening to you. Thanks for your vidéos, it's difficult for me to Say what I would like tout Say, because I'm juste a poor french woman and I cant bla bla bla in english. Thank a lot, kisses from France 💙
Hello miss pam hey this is cool I'm gonna try this I love it no I don't wear makeup at all I'm just all natural I grew up like that hello sunshine and happy and holly and Leonardo and poppa ❤god bless you all
I have some extremely ugly paper that was in a hobby lobby grab pack of 12x12s. Hidden in the middle was the ugliest paper I've ever seen. 😂🤣 This is a perfect way to use that up!
Hi Pam. I don't know why but I never know when your videos are dropped. I get them at varying times and sometimes different days. Is it my phone? Is it because you are doing different times and days? 🤷♀️ Great projects. TFS Hope you all have a great day. 🌞
Gesso contains other additives (like marble or chalk depending on the quality of the gesso) to provide a barrier for oil based mediums. If a barrier is not put between the bare canvas and the oil paint, the back of the canvas can be eaten away over time by the oils. (Plus, you’d have to use a ton more paint). That is the basic difference between white paint, and gesso. ❤
SUPER COOL 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼😎Pam ❗️That Was GREAT how You Changed That paper , I COMPLETELY, WOW❗️I Have Some Ugly paper also 😂 Now I CAN use it. Thank You 👍🏼♥️G-d♥️Bless😊
Those turned out beautifully beautiful and well worth the blend, blend, blend, blend. 😂 and stencil pouncing and all that jazz. I have some ugly, ugly tea dyed paper I did whenever I started this “hobby that doesn’t quite get off the ground” (for me). I was over at another YTer who suggested I try gesso and stamps on my ugly tea dyed paper. I had not thought of that. I’ve been waiting (the hesitant crafter without reckless abandon) to tackle some 12x12 ugly, in my opinion, papers. BUT I tried the gesso and the wonderful tree stencil like yours on one side and other stencils on the back. Only problem was my little archival distress inks had dried out from non-use for prolonged time (months). I tried spritzing w water. Nothing really changed. I read and watched YT vids about using glycerine. Uh oh. I used too much and what strange things happened to some of the colors. Several turned into a rusty color … previously faded blue jeans and dusty concord, etc. surprise!! So I have daubed the extra glycerine off them. A few changes. Not good enough. I have rinsed them with tap water (something else I saw). They are standing to drain, lids on. The tea dyed paper turned into a limp rather damp feeling paper. I think it’s like the leathery paper made w hand lotion. Doesn’t lotion contain glycerine? Anyway. I should stick to the script and I figure the acrylics are the way to see about the remaining ugly tea dyed paper. (Those papers have dark splotches and shapes from stuff I laid on them which didn’t work well. Amoeba looking things.) Anyway, great video! Great results! ❤❤
I love this idea it is so amazing. I have tried other things that I really didn't like but this I think will be great. I would not use the golden white stencils because that's just not me I do like the gold and the other one in your process of using it. So amazing. I also visited your Etsy store for the first time shame on me it is amazing I have a couple of things in my card and will refer back to it at other times because you have terrific things. I like that it's individual pictures and not always like a collage to sheet. Congratulations to you and love and blessings from New Mexico
Hi Pam, your so funny...😅 i thought of magazines, book pages, those fat medical books we never read the ones they mail you from health places. Maybe sunshine would love to create with his paws.lol.
RE: stencil tools. I also use swabs when stenciling alphabetical or numerical characters, since some of them have really small spaces it's hard to get to in any other way

You’re so right…That music can be so cheesy.
