    Small time criminals use shotguns and balaclavas, big time criminals use capital investment, legal departments and political donations

    1000% this was a theft to order type of job. You don't steal something *That* recognisable and unique on the expectation that you can just find a buyer afterwards.

      💯 the first time anyone saw it the person that had it in their possession would be turned into the cops for the reward. No one in their right kind tries to steal something so rare

    Disliking and NOT WATCHING every video with 6 sec skip advertisements.

      You are kinda showing how impatient people are these days .
      Years ago we would sit and watch TV and the multiple adverts every 15 minutes was just expected.
      Now we get a totally free documentary and complain over waiting 5 seconds.
      I believe you can pay for a premium service on RUclips that removes adverts.
      Otherwise enjoy the documentaries free of charge and be patient for 5 seconds . Perhaps there are 5 adverts breaks, that's 25 seconds of your life for 40 odd minutes of great watching.
      As I said years ago there was no RUclips, just Noles house party on a Saturday with heaps of adverts.
      Now we expect so much for free and in the internet era 10 seconds of buffering is the end of the world.
      Take care and enjoy your week ☺️

    Why bother trying to take something so rare and expensive. You’re never going to be able to do anything with it because the first sight someone gets of the diamond you’re going to prison because their going to get rich for turning you in lol

      Normally, even before the robbery the item already has been sold. They 'just' need the item, give it to their buyer's man and wait for the pay out.
      Why would a buyer turn someone in who did them a huge favour for a couple million if you can buy the item itself and sell it for much more.
      These people have their circle, and they know they can earn much more the illegal way.

    Its wrong they were prosecuted for armed robbery when they weren't armed. Im certain debeers money and political influence will have had something to do with this.

      They were armed. They had a gun to fire into the display case and sledgehammers to break it. The robbers were right about the glass though. Bulletproof and shatterproof glass are different. It's hard to manufacture glass that's BOTH bulletproof AND shatterproof. Sometimes you must first compromise the glass with a gunshot and then use blunt force to finish it off.

      @@evelynzlon9492 they had a nail gun bud. Not an actual gun.

    • @evelynzlon9492
      @evelynzlon9492 2 месяца назад +1

      @@alexandergreenfield91 A nail gun is still a potentially deadly or injurious weapon. They intended to use it to pierce the glass and not to harm people, but it fits the definition of armed robbery. Not to mention the bulldozer which they rammed through barricades. That was part of their active robbery equipment, as opposed to say a getaway car.

    • @evelynzlon9492
      @evelynzlon9492 2 месяца назад +1

      @@alexandergreenfield91 But these robbers are physics prodigies. A nail gun is an even smarter weapon to breach shatterproof glass than a gun. Shatterproof glass can withstand a comparatively low-velocity impact over a larger surface area. They achieved the epitome of a high-velocity impact over a smaller area.
