    I’m a farmer myself but how do you think governments can control prices.Cost of seeds alone is something else.The whole thing is the individualistic.Have we farmers ever thought of forming associations?

    Price standardization is the main issue here bro. So what i and my bro do is to take our produce to the market and sell it directly to household consumers.

    The market women have always been like this, that's what makes them so rich and influential. I suggest farmers organize something like a wholesaler market once a month at designated markets where they can sell to the public. This will expose the fraud going on

    I feel you bro. Be the change you would like to see. As pepper farmers, or fruit and vegetable farmers, come together as cooperative society and sell together at a price that makes sense. Like OPEC does with oil. No leader will do that for you. Do it yourselves.

    Find ways to sell it yourself. Pack them in smaller boxes and sell them by weight or per box. Green pepper can be stored for weeks.

      There’s no agreement, the cost of bringing it all the way back home after hours of keeping it in the bag will be unrealistic. There was no choice

    I think what you actually mean is that you are disappointed in the leadership of the country and the administration. You can't be disappointed in an abstract thing like a country. It is people who live in the country and if you are disappointed in anyone just name them.

    • @VeggieFada

      Imagine leaving the farm to sell at the market. Division of labour exist so we can keep the chain running

    • @MarfGL
      @MarfGL 8 дней назад +1

      @@VeggieFada But this division of labour is making you loss income, according to your story.
      Just have someone on the farm that can sell your products on the market. Their main goal must be selling the products of the farm on the market. Especially if you bring it to the marketladies yourself.
      At the end of the day, you will earn more if you do it yourself.
      From my point of view, the market ladies depend on the farmers. Because what is a market lady without products from the farm to.

All is not lost keep it up.

    Careful of wishing government regulation. You won't even get to keep the 150 cedis after transport if government was involved. Bro you are also part of the problem. I contacted you and the first thing you demanded was consultation fee. You youtubers are constantly on about huge profits.

    • @VeggieFada
      @VeggieFada  2 дня назад +1

      I would ordinarily not respond to you but I believe a bit of context will help you.
      You attended school paid fees I presumed and might be working elsewhere. You paid for the knowledge you were given and currently living off it. I completed university and headed straight to the bush to farm, after years of struggling I finally gain valuable knowledge and experience that you badly need due to it value. But somehow you believe that knowledge MUST be transferred for free. Well it doesn’t matter what your believe is, over here I would definitely charge every paid for every service I render (WORK) and you have every right to feel whatever way you want about that

    • @TheChariot99

      That's Ghanaians for you. They're mostly delusional. Imagine asking your customers for consultation before you can even have a conversation. Boss, YOU LIKE MONEY TOO MUCH IN GHANA.

    • @TheChariot99
      @TheChariot99 День назад

      @Mali-kd1zz i 100% believe you that the first thing he asked is for you to pay him for consultation. LOL. I've dealt with Ghanaians and trust me, they don't know business AT ALL! It's lack of exposure. The only Ghanaians that make sense are the ones that have traveled. the ones on ground are just delusional. Then they blame "leaders' Yeah LEADERS WILL TEACH YOU BUSINESS! lol

    Hi Bro, in UK here the farmers most them sell their produce at market no middle woman or man so they get a good money, you have to find a place at the market with your foldable table and you will be laughing because the money go straight to your pocket, no middle men. Also look for export opportunities as well. Don't give up, l can feel your pain but things will get better. God bless

    I am not from Ghana so I don’t quite understand how you do not seem to be able to sell or bargain for a fair price.
    My question is did you know what the selling price was before going to the market? If you can figure that before hand then you can avoid surprises. Also maybe sell more valuable products like cocoa… Just thinking out loud. Hope something can be done to make transactions more fair for the farmers.

    Maybe you said it and I missed it. What is a fair market wholesale price for this size pepper coming from the farmer? Is there a farmer to market broker system in place to transact the sales, although that extra step/person adds to cost.

    • @VeggieFada
