Is there a restrictive covenant on the estate? Does Select Estate control the use of the land by the lessees? As a potential buyer, I don't want to find myself being a neighbour to a lessee who uses their acre(s) as a car repair yard or something. If the lots total doesn’t equate to this numbers it’s not an acre. Or 4048.86 sq m. If your lot is less than 10890 sq ft (.25 acre) than 4 lots will not equate to an acre. Don’t be fooled.
Hi Korewaa brilliant work you're doing im from zimbabwe and based in the UK I've been greatly inspired by your work and dream of being self sufficient. Can I also suggest that you install a biogas digester for your cooking and hot water and manure for your vegetable and yard flowers etc. Also consider solar or a small wind turbine for your power needs. You can also consider rearing black soldier flies for your chicken and fish feed and their waste is also good manure this will also provide a steady income from your market garden and animal farming with minimal input costs. In kenya they also have this technology to grown animal feed for goats cows etc. It's called hydroponic fodder. You will be able to not only be self sufficient but also get a steady income from a very small piece of land with minimal labour and very eco friendly

Love this!!!! Gorgeous and see the vision materializing!!! I have been telling all my friends and family to buy acreage NOW in the Volta and Savannah regions. STOP scrambling for plots in the concrete jungle of Accra and instead buy reasonable acreage in the Volta and Savannah regions that are extremely productive for agriculture; have scenic vistas so you can get residual income from homesteading (including green house farming) and Airbnb on your property. I remember when me and my husband bought two acres of beach front land in Prampram 20 years ago. People snickered and thought we were foolish for buying so far outside town.............ditto for river front land in Akosombo. You have to buy land off the beaten path in Ghana in areas considered remote but with massive potential and then wait for the risk to pay off.
You are exactly right...I got the snickering too..but people have started developments around me now. Now the snickerers are asking for land around my property but they are all sold out...

I have been watching you before you changed the name of your channel. You have done well for yourself. While i would be interested in attempting to purchasing land again and being so far away from Ghana it becomes difficult to really trust especially in getting indentures after payment. The recourses are slim to none even with a legal system in place. Good luck on your project and may the universe continues to open paths for you. I am very surprised that someone who has lived in Australia, comes home and still follow the same old unfair system. One arce is one arce, 43,560 Sq Ft. One lot, 1/4 acre, is 10,890 Sq Ft. Yours or Ghana's lot is 70*100 which equals 7000 Sq Ft. 6 lots at 7000 Sq Ft each equals 42,000 Sq Ft, 1,560 Sq Ft short of an acre. So, as someone who has lived abroad (Australia), should do a little better to change things in Ghana, not follow the same old ways of those who does not want change. As you are fully aware, an Australian will not sell you a 42,000 Sq Ft lot as an acre of land.
I'm sorry...I think you either didn't watch the whole video or you didn't understand my Ghana English...I clearly said in the video that our Acre plots are equivalent to 6 standard 70 x 100 plots. The size of our one acre lots are 4,046 SQM....so I am definitely not following old ways... It helps if you get a full understanding of a situation before you post hurtful comments. I hope this clarification helps.

So, as someone who has lived abroad (Australia), should do a little better to change things in Ghana, not follow the same old ways of those who does not want change. As you are fully aware, an Australian will not sell you a 42,000 Sq Ft lot as an acre of land.
I'm sorry...I think you either didn't watch the whole video or you didn't understand my Ghana English...I clearly said in the video that our Acre plots are equivalent to 6 standard 70 x 100 plots.
The size of our one acre lots are 4,046 SQM....so I am definitely not following old ways...
