Started getting a good look at my step-sons 18' Action. Transom is separated & thumps hollow about 1/3 of the way down.
Given this project is being funded by his sisters & there is a tight budget. I've researched alternative ways to give the transom some integrity & strength. Have been corresponding with West Systems on resin infusion. Had an idea that yet to run by them of using existing holes (jack plate, etc) to draw resin downward using a hose attached to my shop vac.
Please keep posting videos as several parts of your rebuild process have given me great insite.
I'm registered on Scream & Fly also very helpful
    Thanks Again for the content.

My advice is if you plan on running the boat at any sort of speed, then take the time and do everything right. They can hurt you really fast when they come apart

next time you could always use a piece of wood wedged against the foundation of the house to push on the fiberglass.

Good work! Random question… You got a good outboard shop you’d recommend for my merc promax 225? I think I lost a cylinder (maybe both bottom ones)?

The bottom of my Vector I did 3 layers of 1708 from the edges of the floor in, core and then 2 layers of 1708 on top. I have the narrow floor/center steer.
Unfortunately the floor section has to come back out due to rerigging/interior changes.
