What’s ironic is that this is more of a bot comment than anything . Hivemind, clonespeak, NPC, bot. Most humans like you can’t say anything original, just have to repeat things or just do what they’re told like get the vax.
Yet here I sit with my iPhone 15 that has Siri from 2010 that can’t even make a grocery list. Apple is so far behind

I'll be more impressed if GPT can visually recognize American Sign Language and translate/respond accordingly.
I'd be very surprised if this wasn't already a working demo. It's an obvious use case to work towards and it's not much beyond what they're already showing. Not to mention bespoke trained systems have been able to do it for years already.

They haven't released full version. The current demo allows text and image interaction. Coming weeks, they said. Probably just wanted to get out before Google. Went well for them last time

I am a paying customer of GPT since the beginning, but I must say it has been dumbed down a lot since the beginning due to politics...when you say 00:11 "chatGPT4" level intelligence but much faster...so its still dumb but faster at giving dumb answers. This is not what we need. What we need is for you to listen to customers. How come we still can't have something simple as group conversations by grouping for example? Scrolling down is not a viable option. They are so confident of their product they have turned off comments on THEIR OWN channel, regarding this launch...that is just sad.

Google and or Microsoft will do a good thing when it can “get” real work to everyone through AI, not just search or list a set of jobs that are possibly not even suitable for the applicant and not even well paid. I mean real AI with real utility in the real world, real work, real meaning in life and good compensation to EVERYONE, in any country from all social strata. Until that happens, any AI from any company is useless.

My graduate thesis director told me I should put my R error into GPT because it will (likely) tell me what caused the error and how I should correct the script.
