I'm so fkng blown away by the complexity of George's music. He was a total master of the genre. It's so slick and layered. One listen of this song and your sucked into the groove right away.
I feel this. it is such a loss for us all I just think his music was going to be out of this world huh. truth be known he would have probably made Such Good Sound we would have levitated. An Angel he was and is.

amen brother, I believe in my heart that he was an enlightened being , his music is prophetic and imbues more meaning in my life as the days go by. I feel his presence is manifesting more and more on this plane, and the only thing that helps with the pain of his passing , is that his ascension to a higher realm has a greater purpose that will in time be realised.

I agree it's one of michaels best, along with "star people". still, we ought not to be intolerable if someone dislikes the song. they may have great taste in music nevertheless. take, for instance, someone who does not like artificial sounds, who likes natural music. there's not ONE natural sound in this song! however, I love it for what it is!

I bought this album way back in 2004, it'll remain in my opinion the best work he ever did.
When I bought this album, i put it on immediately in my car and sat and listened to the whole thing and couldn't believe what I was listening to, this album blew me away. Whats a better word than masterpiece?
This song should have had a video. Its particular. The lyrics are powerfull. And they are some beautiful lyrics indeed. Im sure hes talking bout his life but so relatible in so many ways. Its one of the bests on the album. Too bad not many people know bout this. I love the ending part btwn. I somehow hear Kylie Minogue on the song through the end and I wish it was. Would have been the perfect duet tbh.
Precious Box is a classic & well loved & recognised by his fans... He sung it on the 25 Live tour & is by no means an underrated song

Lots of other classics too... Through, Understand, Move On, to name only three that wouldn't necessarily spring to mind for a lot of people.... That's why his albums were so precious because he didn't realise them very often but when he did they always contained hidden gems
But they do, unfortunately as is always the case many artists are discovered when they are gone.... His fan base was huge but so many people are discovering his music, Precious Box is open to the power of suggestion, its a comparison to two different lives one is simply watching the other through the power of the TV screen.. Songs are always open to interpretation, Everything She Wants was about a relationship that was dominated by the woman's need for material goods when many years later her wrote 'Understand' it was a follow up to that where the man realises the woman cared a lot more about love than possessions than he realised.....Precious Box holds a lot of memories for me.... I love it

I first discovered this song 12 years ago this year. At the time I was with friends doing a course together abroad and I’d listen to this on repeat through my little earphones on my way to my volunteer job. It was the lyrics that hooked me and I always imagined what it would be like if “no1 ever called” or “comes in the morning/evening time” as at the time I was naive to think this great time in my life would last forever.
I can say now it’s my reality. I’m no longer friends with those people only with the good memories we shared. Life’s funny like that.
