It’s not an any level lift, it only has air bags on the rear. He can’t air out the front only the back.

15.50’s will do that. There’s a lot of tire contact with crap roads, and that’s normal for a wide 10 ply tire.

Awesome truck Mike! I think you should keep your white truck stock, well almost stock, to have a dedicated everyday towing etc work truck. But that's totally up to you. Love your vids, you know you ought to think about building a classic car. A lot of guys out there like me do who own them. And everybody is modding modern cars. My buddy has a 10-12 keldermans f250 platinum on 40's and its massive! Me and him drove it down to florida from NY and it was insane only thing you remember feel bad is the wind!!

Get the amp steps. you will be happy you did. if it cut out 6 or 8 inch of your getting in the truck your not pulling on the steering wheel or handle or what ever. truck looks good

Looks so good, that is a bad ass ride. If you have any ford friends at all, the first thing out of their mouth when every GM comes out with a new truck is how bad the front end looks. That Front end on this looks pretty damn good to me.
I would leave the white truck the way it is. You have the black truck lifted enormously and it makes up for the old Duramax.

That tire noise would drive me nuts. The height is nice. Fender flares are gonna be a must or the cheap GM paint is gonna be hammered from rock chips.

Can someone tell me if a 2017 high country 5.3 8 speed automatic 1500 is a good truck I will be going to look at one 40k miles on it just wondering if someone else has some more advise on the truck it will be a daily.
they are good trucks.. Only caveat being if you are going to be towing over 7k lbs on a regular basis id suggestion stepping up to a 3/4ton truck.
Lots of 8 speed auto problems, do some research before you buy. I had one, the issues are real.
"Good" is what you'll get. Do yourself a favor and drive the 6.2L and you'll never buy the 5.3 again. I have the 2015 ltz 6.2. When talking to the owner about the 8 speed problems. As long as they had the Trans fluid flushed since the beginning of 2019 by the dealer, the majority of problems will be gone

I like it but how do you get inspection stickers? I take it PA doesn’t care. In Massachusetts you can’t alter a height of a vehicle higher or lower, change the exhaust to make it louder or have any rubber sticking out from the tires past the wheel well.

I made the same comment before I got down to this far in the thread. I don't know, it would have to be sloped really far to sag as far as it is, It seems something is wrong with the level. Also if you watch the steering wheel when Mike drives it it's got a good bit of shimmy but maybe that's just normal or a tire out of balance.
The lift is bad ass but the driver side definitely looks lower than the passenger.
Threebs The truck’s tilt is different than the axle’s tilt. The truck is in fact, sagging on the left side.

Does it have a steering stabilizer? If not, I'd put one on it. Wheel looks a little shaky at times. Stabilizer really helped tame my 37's for me.
