a few clips of gnome's and my supercharged gsx1400's being melted on a dyno.... Not fun to watch .. setup was good they just had no idea how to not burn zorst
@fuckkkingtasty after the 'setup' the bike was perfect at any throttle opening .. and a great hp & torque curve.. the method was terrible but end setup great .. As for TTS .. I respect their ability to engineer a package but not their setup .. this package started off at TTS who built ,fitted and initially setup the blower... blew over 2k getting it fully sorted.. Synk Synk
Never seen a bike dynoed like that before. Usually it's just a few quick accelerations to max rpm in top gear and then pull in the clutch. This guy just keeps revving it and lets the engine slow down the rear tyre.
@fuckkkingtasty Richard did set the bike up.. this bike was one of the first blown bikes TTS had done .. it was over 5 years ago.. this vid is 3 years old itself.. bike looks very different now .. and has had huge amount of new work done so am just waiting till I have the time to get it setup again on the dyno .. then we'll let it rip ;) Synk
Just sorted the fuel reg for the charger and these guys were supposed to know what they were doing - long and short of it was they f**ked the exhaust and very nearly the motor as well. Thankfully Paul from DynoSpeed developments in essex knew what he was doing and sorted the bike out for me. Wont go any where else now.
I have read the description and the comments but I still haven't a clue what they are trying to do. Was there any wind being blown onto the engine to keep it cool?
Are you running stock injectors Synk? Did you have any initial tuning issues? Dyno guy tunes mine but when you turn the key off and restart the bike, hard to start, idles like a pig, coughs- splutters and stalls under 2000rpm. Leans the fuel off, re tunes again, same again when you turn the key off. Its like the ecu hates the power commander and the blower.
No Running gsxr1000 injectors. Yes had a ton of setup to do .. most forced induction setups are usually tuned for the WOT, to get it smooth we were almost 9 hrs on the dyno.. Have a machined billet plenum, different blow off valve etc .. only parts from the kit left are the blower and the mounting plate .. I've also ran air intake behind the motor and out the other side.
No, Hayabusa injectors. I bought the complete kit from Dave off the org. I'm in Australia and the Dyno mechanic here is having a real challenge. He has been in direct contact with Dave and just cant seem to nut it out. Now it tunes up ok, but 15 seconds after starting the FI warning light comes on and won't go out until you switch the ignition off. Fun and games! It's only been at the Dyno shop since December. It's almost March.

@guitar1ify it's a dyno run. that is what motorcycle enthusiasts do to make their bikes the best.

if that bike didn't have such monsterous balls, i would normally feel bad for the exhaust system on such an occasion.
I wonder when you will start feeling better ;)

wrong dyno (car).. guys good at forced induction but not a blke it seems to stop burning a zorst.. :(
@beabuls bike dyno runs arent meant to go wide open for 10 minutes. not surprised these jackasses ruined the bike
whys it do that? and how can you prevent it?
