i hauled my 9 year old ass all the way through his game barely using any assists because i didn't understand how strong they were. I think Charizard brought me to tears
I'm glad I could give you closure on the game. Charizard is one of the hardest bosses along the the legendary dog trio. I hope I earned your like and sub.
I loved this game as a kid, and I still do! However, that 2nd Charizard boss was the bane of my existence back then. Nowadays, I can beat it even during the flying phase.
My thoughts: Boss 1: Rhydon (Easy with 2 Poliwag) Boss 2: Machoke (Not too Tricky if you figure the Patron, also Makuhita helps a lot). Boss 3: Grimer and Muk (Easy if you have a Drowzee) Boss 4: Politoed (Easy with Plusle/Minun Super Charge) Boss 5: Camerupt (A Bit tricky but easy with a Poliwhirl) Boss 6: Murkrow (a bit Difficult, Minun/Plusle's Supercharge helps with Spinarak, Murkrow can be caught with Spinarak Assist) Boss 7: Kingdra (Easy with Plusle/Minun super charge) Boss 8: Flygon (Hard, until you figure his patron) Boss 9: Salamence (Hard, you need to do the circles clearly) Boss 10: Charizard (Hard, you need to evade the flames properly) Boss 11: Slaking (Tricky but Houndoom helps) Boss 12: Entei (Tricky but Poliwhirl and Rhydon helps) Boss 13: Scizor (Easy with Growlithe) Boss 14: Gyarados (Easy with Plusle/Minun Super Charge) Boss 15: Steelix (Tricky but Medicham helps a Lot) Boss 16: Charizard (Poliwhirl helps but too Hard) Boss 17: Camerupt X2 (A bit tricky, Swampert helps) Boss 18: Slaking plus slakoth and vigoroth (Supercharge + Mankey helps a lot) Boss 19: Scizor + Scyther (Easy with Blaziken and super charge) Boss 20: Tyranitar plus Pupitar and Larvitar. (HARD, Tyranitar is very awful, Machamp and Swampert can help with him, Larvitar is easy and Pupitar isnt too Hard if you not touch him) Boss 21: Legendary Dogs (Raikou isnt Hard with Donphan, Suicune is easy with super charge and for Entei you need to destroy the flame shield first, and after that super Charge + Medicham)
What if they make a new Pokemon game on the Nintendo Switch called “New Pokemon Ranger”? Maybe in 2024, I want Pokemon Presents to announce that new game that will release that year. It should include the three Paldea starters.
Hahaha hahaha, many got stuck there! I did have it at the time when I was over 20 years old. But it is certainly a tough game. He had a 6-year-old nephew and he could never get past that game. The other 2 games are more accessible and easiereasy!
I can't decide whether this game is harder because the circles have to be consecutive or the other games are harder due to more circles and poke assists being worse
I did the challenges in rainbow order . Steelix I used poliworth and poliwraith bubble assist . That’s when I learned psychic types did nothing on steel .
My brother was playing this and I not help him but just played for him a bit and he got up to Salamanca and boy that was hard but Flygon was Impassable 😅
Can you imagine 20 circles with tyranitar? It makes you earthquake, rock slide and hyper beam! It would be harder than salamance! While pupitar only moves from side to side and only rock slides! They had to make them both different forms of difficulty and make them more balanced and challenging at the same time!
Mutch, I’d like to request that you please do these two different games that are both for the PS1. I’d like to see you try Muppet Race Mania, a racing game that was developed by Traveller's Tales Ltd., and Muppet Monster Adventure, a platform game developed by Magenta Software . These two games were published by Midway Games for the PlayStation 1 and feature the Muppets from The Jim Henson Company and I’d like to see you do a longplay of these two games if you’re interested.
Thank you for your requests. I'll consider then both in the future. I actually had the privilege to design something for the Jim Henson Creature Shop back in 2019. It was such a cool experience getting a behind the scenes tour at the shop
well i can say its a very hard game your circles has to be precise and one small slight movement destroys the circle and you have to start all over again. especially when they go into the corner you are screwed.

Loved this game but it scratched the hell out of the touch screen on my DS 🤣
Me too. This game is the reason i bought a screen protector on my 3ds, wii u, and switch
@@MutchGamesYep, I did that too with my 3ds
i hauled my 9 year old ass all the way through his game barely using any assists because i didn't understand how strong they were. I think Charizard brought me to tears
I'm really glad you gave some context before & after the fights,
& not just the fights themselves!
Timestamps would be appreciated too
As well as the Go Rock Squad. They were my favorite characters 😂
Never got further then Charizard. Was stuck with something else that was up ahead. Is nice to see the other bosses for once
I'm glad I could give you closure on the game. Charizard is one of the hardest bosses along the the legendary dog trio. I hope I earned your like and sub.
Salamence was the hardest for me - I was stuck on them for a good 3 weeks
I don't think I ever got past the Go-Rock hideout. I kept getting caught and thrown out. Charizard definitely was a headache too.
@@andrewmiller5126 man till this date I still didn’t try the OG Rangers game but a few months back I did the other two games

My first pokemon game...
I hope I brought you some good nostalgia :)
Same! I went on to play like every pokemon game but for some reason this was my first! I loved it and still do
Man as a kid I died so many times against steelix 😂😂
I remember having such a tough time with that fight as a kid as well 😂
Same
Thank god, Shadow of Aliama released

I'm in favor of more ranger games but personally I want a new shadow pokemon game the most.
That steelix still has me scarred.
I never beat this game as a kid because I got stuck on Murkrow lmao I thought I was so far into the game
At least now you can see the rest of the game :)

They were tough. Gotta look for the nearby ones that'll give you an edge
It's so weird seeing you circle counter-clockwise. Literally everyone else I've seen does it clockwise.
@@Espik_23 must be the coreolius effect 😂
37:22 Why you need more effort to capture Pupitar than its envolved form Tyranitar?

The only thing I gained from this video is that you're not very good at Pokemon Ranger lol
