  • On a recent day at the port of Bundaberg I was met with both success and failure as i flicked plastics along the north wall... My first two Grunter out of the Burnett, biggest going 42cm, to start the day and two massive fish of unknown species taking me to school and putting me to shame...

      +Timothy Moss tell me about it! I think what I should have done after getting the hook up and first run was to loosen the drag a touch and try play it out a bit more... Ah well I'll be back for round two and fingers crossed I'll land a few stonkas!

      Pulled a 50cm Jack on lighter gear yesterday... This one felt like a BIG cod! No screaming run just a heavy weight which couldn't be moved... Almost felt like a snag but could feel tail beats

    where's this river mate?

  • @rasheed2844
    @rasheed2844 8 лет назад +1

    Your drag was a bit too tight or the knot wasn't strong enough

    • @TheBrisbaneRiverBoys
      @TheBrisbaneRiverBoys  8 лет назад

      +Rasheed Chami yeah drag too tight I think is where I went wrong... That and the fish had the lure right down its gob by the way the leader was frayed...
