- Whats up everyone!! This is a quick video on how to remove a Engine from a Yamaha Banshee, Its not hard at all honestly I Believe with the right tools and patience anything is possible! Good luck!

Id just swap the stator with the motor u pulled out before. Then u don't gotta swap all the wiring. So much easier. But yeah man I can't find a video of cleaning a banshee engine while its in the frame. I have one but I don't want to pull the motor to get it all pretty again lol. That might be a video idea? Keep it up brotha love the banshee stuff man!
Thats true I don't know why I didn't think of that lol, I think best bet is to take the carbs off, and use the leak down thing to cover the hoses so water doesn't go in and some nice brushes to get the job done... Honestly why not maybe ill do a video soon. I just got my hands on a cool head so going to have my 2001 torn apart soon and why not clean up the engine also lol
@@AceMotorsports yeah that deff be sweet! I'm gonna pull the carbs and try that soon. I want the engine as clean as the rest of the bike for sure!!!
And thats a good find too, thr one u just pulled out is a stroker motor man. Not sure if u knew that. But its prob a 4mil, stock cylinder so that might be a 370cf or like 390. Not sure exactly but thats deff sweet!!!
No freaking way? May I ask why you say that? I haven't ripped her open so I dont know what's inside but from the looks of it looks like piston is extended or bigger. Thank you brotha much love man appreciate the good vibes!
@@AceMotorsports because if u look under the cylinders there is 2 gaskets and an aluminum plate between the 2 gaskets. Thats for the longer connecting rods. I have an 87 with that style stroker too. Thats old school stroker right there. Not alot of people run those spacer plates anymore b.c. 2 gaskets means twice as much area to spring a leak from. But yeah bud shes a stroker so that motor should deff rip. I would pull the reeds at some point and see if there's port work done too. Nice score brotha!!!
