As someone who lives in Bulgaria, i can accept, that our students always scream in class and they go outside the room.
As an Turkish, sitting with the girls is never be a punishment for boys.
I used to live in singapore and there, even chewing gum is illegal let alone beating up a student. Also, I’m Chinese and I’ve never heard of any one being forced to lift heavy stuff. If a teacher did that in china it would go viral and he would be criticised publicly.

As an Australian in my experience we never had to stand on a chair
Same, at our high school in Australia we have something similar to standing on a chair. If we talk during assemblies, a teacher will make us stand up from our seats and we also have to remain standing until assembly is over, which is really embarrassing.

As a Canadian, that is not true. In all the schools I've been to, they just force us to empty out all the gum we have in our pockets and backpacks. And most of the teachers don't care if we chew gum or not, as long as we aren't loud.

Its not quite right that with denmark like if you run around the class while the teacher is not there then the students tell the teacher then the teacher tells sit down if he screams in class the teacher whould be angry and if he did it every day in 4 weeks there whould be a message sent to his parents
