I know...I know...its none of my business and I probably won't ring out. Has anyone heard about Lindsey (Mrs.Chigg) lately ??? He hasn't mentioned her name or featured her in a video in a very long time. Hope all is well between them. Both seem so nice. Just concerned.
All of these river trips you've done over the years, have you ever been bit by a venomous snake? I used to explore all of the old Mill dams here in upstate SC. I've been bitten twice by water moccasins. And it sucks. Lol
Hi Doug. This is Mike from GR8 finds. I wanted to let you know I lost my channel a few wks ago. I was able to re start but have to have everyone re subscribe. Long story as to what happened. Hope all is well,. Mike
15:09 and 21:32 Mr Chic, I think that thin metal disc is from the top of a cork, the type that's attached to Champagne bottles, wine bottles etc; if those are three holes, that would be were the wire goes that holds it and the cork to the bottle.
Chigg, that brass item you picked up at 9:28 is a shirt/collar stud, basically just a button for either the front of your shirt or holding a detached collar onto a collarless shirt.
Boy the size of the bullets and the old round balls of lead are scary. Having something like that hit a body would be devastating. Cool river hunting Chigg
I didn’t know racoons smelled like skunks with rabies. Good tip. The willow blades from the bass lures might make an interesting wind chime, or an interesting addition to hang off the sunglasses on your fence? Just an idea. ☝🏻😎💡
Just love the River adventures. Wish we were finding allot more kool relic’s but yea can’t dig them all at once or there would be no adventure left. I can only imagine what the foundation under your house is saying to you if it could talk!! No more! No more! Crack crack… Keep up the great videos Chigg…..
Thanks for all the videos Chigg . Love watching these water videos all tho I haven’t got to find a water area around here to try it out yet but I want to very badly. Lol. I have Mostly hunt fields and woods over the years . Keep the great videos coming bud.
Beau suprises could that Trash Panda got one from a Skunk or Bath time is Next Week anyhue right time of year for Rabie baby's !!! Spanish coin huh!?... !!!; )
One thing I learned this summer is raccoons eat clams like you said. I saw a raccoon doing something odd on the bank when I was fishing, and I investigated and it ran away and left behind a pile of empty clam shells it was eating.
What caliber is the big fat rounded top bullet? It seems larger that the rest must have been an interesting rifle or pistol that fired it. Do you have any of the types of rifles that fired these bullets? It would be interesting to see those next to the bullets you have found.
Chigg, do you have any ideas on why there is so many dropped musket bullets and unfired ammo in the water. Soldiers wading across, forced into the water. Certainly they weren't throwing their cartridge boxes into the river. Any speculations?
Well I smell a Lion back there in the bushes up on the bank and you know when you smell a Lion it means you should exit stage right with haste, but there's this real squeeker right in front of the Lions Den...:-) Be safe (Ha) and we will all see you later brother. Thanks for the ride.
If the fishing weights were flattened bullets, wouldn't they weigh the same? I know that one looked like maybe it was chipped off but could be a way to identify if it was a bullet!
Hey Chig Mon! Whats a guy have to do to come along with you. I have tons of places in Maryland. I have a Mokai. Will work to metal detect. lmfao. Tired of going by my lonesome. I'll bring the crab cakes! Jimmys seafood. or Michaels Cafe. or some softies!
I had always been told rabid animals tend to stay away from water. Rabies swells the throat and causes them to choke if they try to drink. So they get scared to be around water.
Chig I live in Australia and have no idea regarding how such things are dealt with in the US so what are folks supposed to do if they suspect an animal is rabid? Surely some sort of authority would need to be notified otherwise I shudder to contemplate the threat rabid critters could pose to little kids and family pets!
That style of lighter was really popular from the late 30s through the 1960s it could be a Ronson or a penguin or a continental one of many varieties and I bet you money that I could have that lighter up and running in under an hour I say that because that's my hobby is cigarette lighter collecting
Wondering about metal detecting more coins, and also Indian artifacts. The river iron chunks and other junk getting boring. Not in a civil war area and more interested in coins especially silver and gold examples, also arrowheads and other points. Thanks

Chigg, your Mokai is getting a rather interesting patina. Me and the wobbly kitten appreciate your humility. Take care everyone.

Chigg, that brass item you picked up at 9:28 is a shirt/collar stud, basically just a button for either the front of your shirt or holding a detached collar onto a collarless shirt.
Could be 1827-1930ish.
Your boat is truly unique! Maybe the raccoon is dating a skunk? Good hunt😀
Chigg your boat is in desperate need of attention there bud. Lol good to see you still out and going.
Thanks for the rabid racoons tip never heard that before !

I didn’t know racoons smelled like skunks with rabies. Good tip.
The willow blades from the bass lures might make an interesting wind chime, or an interesting addition to hang off the sunglasses on your fence?
Just an idea. ☝🏻😎💡
I'll be there Chigg, wish we had some of that rain here on the West Coast to dampen all these wildfires going on around me.
Just love the River adventures. Wish we were finding allot more kool relic’s but yea can’t dig them all at once or there would be no adventure left. I can only imagine what the foundation under your house is saying to you if it could talk!! No more! No more! Crack crack…

Lots of lead !! 😊👍🌎🌞🇺🇸
Yeh, new Ching vlog!
We'll be there!
Awesome!!
The Chigg!
Had good total views of "the Hunley" in this video....what a strange looking watercraft the Hunley is.
Ha!
The little bass piece in the beginning is a collar stud. Late 1800s to Early 1900s. Too many comments to see if anyone mentioned it.
Thanks Chigg
What happened to the aluminum/metal chig-rig boat?!? Looked hairy, but fun! Love the power kayak though!
High five Chiggs….😎😎
Beau suprises could that Trash Panda got one from a Skunk or Bath time is Next Week anyhue right time of year for Rabie baby's !!! Spanish coin huh!?... !!!; )
One thing I learned this summer is raccoons eat clams like you said. I saw a raccoon doing something odd on the bank when I was fishing, and I investigated and it ran away and left behind a pile of empty clam shells it was eating.
That brass object found at about 10:00 looked like a male end of a Liberty Overalls suspender
13:40 Half a water spicket!
Arrowhead at 7:45, 6" from found sinker at 10 o'clock lying on top rock?
Was that an arrow head at 7.45 in the video when you pulled the sinker out? Right above your thumb.
What caliber is the big fat rounded top bullet? It seems larger that the rest must have been an interesting rifle or pistol that fired it. Do you have any of the types of rifles that fired these bullets? It would be interesting to see those next to the bullets you have found.
great video, i wish there were cool places in central fl to find civil war stuff.... plenty of iphones in the rivers =)
At 7:44 is that an arrowhead just above the thumb knuckle? Looks almost like a shark tooth. Too perfect maybe?
I saw that too!!!
I THOUGHT SO ALSO.
Yaya river adventures.. chig
the little collier button . copper covered with gold plate.
Chigg, it seems no matter where your digging you can be counted on to find a mason jar lid
At 7:44 in your video when u found that modern sinker, was that an arrow head on the rock to the left above ur hand or a fake made by nature?
Chigg, do you have any ideas on why there is so many dropped musket bullets and unfired ammo in the water. Soldiers wading across, forced into the water. Certainly they weren't throwing their cartridge boxes into the river. Any speculations?
Skunk smell could be some campers nearby sampling some 🌿
My Dad told me that they would find mimie balls and use them for fishing sinkers. This was during the 1930s near the Seige of Port Hudson, La
At about 25% in when u are picking the sinker out of rock, at the end of your thumb it looks like a nice point, it’s white arrowhead shaped.
Well I smell a Lion back there in the bushes up on the bank and you know when you smell a Lion it means you should exit stage right with haste, but there's this real squeeker right in front of the Lions Den...:-) Be safe (Ha) and we will all see you later brother. Thanks for the ride.
When did you start using the new pick? Did you wear out the Bunk pick or lose it?
If the fishing weights were flattened bullets, wouldn't they weigh the same? I know that one looked like maybe it was chipped off but could be a way to identify if it was a bullet!
11.09 - not a fishing reel - with those flanges and pin-point axles, it looks like a model railway set of wheels
That pad lock could be a nice chunk of brass.
Could those suspected dig holes be fish beds?
Hey aquachigger what do u have your metal detector on when u hunt in the water
what do you do after collecting the mini balls? do you sell them?
Hey Chig Mon! Whats a guy have to do to come along with you. I have tons of places in Maryland. I have a Mokai. Will work to metal detect. lmfao. Tired of going by my lonesome. I'll bring the crab cakes! Jimmys seafood. or Michaels Cafe. or some softies!
I had always been told rabid animals tend to stay away from water. Rabies swells the throat and causes them to choke if they try to drink. So they get scared to be around water.
What do you do with all the lead you find?
What kind of paint job do you have on your boat?
My dad used to save empty rolled up toothpaste tubes. They were made of lead way back when. He'd melt them to make sinkers and 36 cal. bullets.
How much is a Civil War mini ball worth?
Love your videos!😊👯✌🍀
Will you do Native American artifacts digs?
ill be there.
Maybe it was some skunk smelling pot plants on that river bank instead of the raccon. Lol
I want to see this guy riding in his one of a kind boat 🤷🏻♂️
Caught myself looking over my phone for that racoon!
Will the fishing sinkers made from civil war bullets weigh on average about the same as the bullets? 🤓
Depends if they are carved or just shaped
Smelly Wabbit 🤣🤣🤣
so where is your new boat?
I was waiting for a Monty Python rabbit moment at any time.
That style of lighter was really popular from the late 30s through the 1960s it could be a Ronson or a penguin or a continental one of many varieties and I bet you money that I could have that lighter up and running in under an hour I say that because that's my hobby is cigarette lighter collecting

I can't remember what they are, but apparently that thing that looks like a pawn from a Sorry game is what the pawns were modeled after.
