The most hilarious and improvisational actor and comedian in our time, renowned for making ackward jokes and funny facial expressions .. the accent he's got whenever he is getting cocky in scenes of the movies and the office tv show is superb !!
@@fridaymorning139 she was also the head writer on SNL for a time. I actually saw her live before she was famous, when she did a 2 person show with Rachel Dratch at UCB.
It must have been tricky for him to strike the right tone of humour in what could have been a very awkward speech. His choice of final words I think must have been a list-minute addition to soften the tone as he must have been afraid the speech would strike too sour a note.

@@shawnuel well, who’s to say when people deserve awards, versus when they get them. The main thing is, he did receive it. And I agree he is a legend in the industry. Though I see most (not all) of the prize winners being more well known as comedy actors themselves as well, in scripted film and television, and that may have played a bigger part. I myself was unsure why Leno had gotten it. So there you go. With only one per year, there’s a plenty of names out there to get through.

Steve Carell is such a king of awkward jokes. Sometimes it's too difficult to watch lol!!
that's extacly why at first I couldn't watch the office I kinda felt bad for him and his awkwardness, then I laughed my ass off to this day.
What's awkward about this.
A trick : you can watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@Turner Brentley Definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone for since december myself :)
@@lazaromurad322 same.. i stopped watching office several times only to again start several months later
Beautiful speech and very funny
Hi, I'm Steve Carell and I make things awkward reeeeeaaally quickly.
I wish he'd be in a movie with Aubrey Plaza.
I'm glad you added the Korean subtitles, because I don't speak a word of English.

Tina deserves every tribute. She's likely the best comedian of this century if you think about Palin, 30 Rock, the Globes...

Sort of Michael Scott-y.
Michael Scott, one and only
Even funnier in Korean subtitles
"Is that how you pronounce it?" XD
Martin Short's been using that opening line for years
"And yet thr u r..I can c u.." Hilarious.
Steve Carell is really Michael Scott, so funny.
Is this a Michael Scott tone? If so, it is very subtle and seems appropriate.
I Don't Know What We're Yelling About!
And sitting beside you is your wonderful husband Jeff. Is that how you pronounce it...JEFF??? 🤣🤣🤣
